In which Sport do you prefer to bet?

I already suspected it was soccer, after all, it is the most popular sport in the world, and the World Cup and European Champions League have a huge appeal

Cricket in second place surprised me, but I imagine it is because it is popular in extremely populous countries, such as India and Bangladesh, because at least here in Brazil it is a sport that very few people know about

Boxing may not be in the top 10, but betting on the sport is quite popular, and we usually hear about large sums of money when there are big fights

How about you? Which sport do you usually place your bet on and why?

I enjoy all kinds of sports betting, but I mostly place my bets on football. For me, football has its own kind of art and each match always shows something different, giving plenty of betting options and a bigger sense of excitement. Basically, I’ve loved football since I was a kid, and betting on football is like a way for me to channel that hobby and get my own kind of satisfaction.

I would have love to say basketball but unfortunately I do bet more on soccer because it's usually on the top of the list on every bookies since it's popularity is so high to a very whole different level.

Why soccer is the highest in my opinion is the mere fact that in the whole world today soccer has the highest popularity and participation, it's the highest in revenue generation and etc so based on this most people her as I can already see are soccer real lovers.

It’s like that game doesn’t even exist to me and yet it is the second most popular game in the world. I find that amazing. Sports such as soccer and basketball also provide us with many opportunities in which to read into the game and this avails us with a superior comprehension of team strategies. As usual soccer sports is absolutely my favorite, viewing the list above soccer is the top amongst 10 number maybe due to the large number of fans watching and they can’t watch without placing a bet, personally I’m in this category concerning placing bet when expected a fixed match but, not just soccer for example boxing as mentioned above. Boxing is a good sport but, without the proper analysis and time no one can predict rightly so I consider watching just for fun without any bet still soccer remains the most populated and easy to analyze compared to other sports.

You are right bud, football is a sports game that have fans all over the world, its the most liked game and maybe if we are to begin to search about the history of football and how it all began, we may as well discover that football is way older than every other form of sports as well.

And some reason why football is wildspread than any other type of sports is because of the way people engage themselves in the game, i dont know about other countries but here In my Nigeria, there is no school, both public and private schools that do not have a football field where pupils go to play football during their break time and some times weekends, during interhouse sports, students engage in different type of sports games including race, basketball, volleyball but in all, football is always the higher because the house that wins in the football sports likely will become the over all winner of the interhouse sports.

The most popular sport in your location will be your best bet. Every gambler will be on sports they understand or enjoy. Almost every child in my country has played soccer in their lives. It is hard to see any child in my country who knows nothing about football.  Every school in the country would have a football field where students would practice the sport. Soccer remains my best sport, and I bet on almost all the major leagues.

Boxing is another option for many people because it is easy to understand.  Other sports have some complicated rules, but we know that when someone is knocked out, they lose the game.  A few of my countrymen are professional boxers, which has made me occasionally bet on sports.

I usually don't bet too much. I bet very little. When I think that this team will win, I bet. Sometimes, when big teams are playing against small teams, I bet on the big team. I am not addicted to betting, so I sit patiently and bet whenever I get a chance. Football is truly a game that the more you watch, the easier it is to understand and from that understanding comes a little more confidence when betting and like you I have seen many people who are so passionate about their favorite sport that they also bet on it because when making predictions the field conditions, the players' form, and the coach's style all come together to understand football, so naturally it feels much more comfortable to bet on football than on any other sport. And if there is a group of friends who are all fans of the same sport like football then everything from watching the match to betting seems like a festival because it is very exciting to see who will win and who will lose, so it seems very natural to me to choose football for betting.

It seems i were a part of those 3.5 billions football fans. Betting on the sport that i have good knowledge about it is the key. So obviously i often betting on football. Sometimes, i shifted to the cricket or tennis, but only happen when i know which side is potentially winning the game.

Football is being known is almost everywhere. No doubt it leads the stats as a sport with most of fans and obviously bettors.

As for why Boxing was not a part of top 10 sport with most fans. The reason is obvious too many belts and fake fighting. Other than that it's also boring to watch boxing these days. I'd rather watch MMA instead of boxing which always gives me exciting match to watch. There is also pay per view that makes it even worst.

How about you? Which sport do you usually place your bet on and why?

I'm 6'1, who played basketball since my high school days, so it's obvious I understand basketball better than any other sport, and that makes me comfortable placing bets on basketball, specifically the NBA. On the other hand, boxing has been one of the most remarkable sports in the PH history. I sometimes place bets, of course, on Manny and some other undercard Filipino fighters before, just because I don't know much about boxing, and I don't know much about the fighters, except those who are hailed as the best fighters of the decade.
I always think it is essential that you're placing bets on the sport you're knowledgeable about, because that makes you a lot comfortable watching the game while waiting for the results of your bet. It just adds some extra fun and excitement.

Yes. It's undeniable, and soccer is the favorite sport of millions of people, bar none. I think people will dare to come and bet even more when their favorite team is playing, because it really gets their adrenaline pumping, as every minute and half is always something truly exciting to miss, especially when our favorite player scores. Of course, this also aligns with your opinion that someone's confidence in betting on soccer usually comes not from the numbers, but from the experience of following the match, whether watching live or following sports news.

And there's another reason why so many people are addicted to watching is many the drama will we see, the tension, and the constantly evolving tactics of the opposing team or our favorite team. So it's natural that many people bet, both offline and online, especially on soccer. If you win twice, you win. The money you get is a reward.

I must confess that I love watching all of them, but unfortunately, I don't bet on all of them. I only bet on the one I'm familiar with, which is football. Because I started playing football when I was very young, I have more insight into football than any other sport, and even the odds seem quite easy to understand. As an African it's obviously football, as u said earlier, it is the most watched sport in Africa, it is so popular, no other sport is as popular, although, the next big sport is basketball, but not much people bet on it, even though it do have some degree of audience but it is still not as popular as football

For example, football and basketball have clear scores and rules on who wins and loses. If a boxing match ends without a KO victory, this is unclear and lacks transparency because it is only based on the judges' observations and calculations.
