You are getting this all wrong and I don't mean that your experience is going to make you over profitable or it is going to change the outcome of your bet. Being an experienced gambler can give you an edge over others that are new to gambling.

I guess I'm understanding the point @lida is trying to make, and by that I mean he is only trying to emphasize that by being experienced as a gambler don't stop you from losing even while gambling, but it's only just that it gives you an edge into making more calculated entry in all games, which are likely to end in profit. But in a scenario as O.P portrays above regarding the inability of gamblers stop chasing losses, is the reason why majority are addicted today. And because of that, that is enough reason why as a gambler, it's always good one has a stipulated budget he or she is willing to lose at each gambling session, and when you exhaust your limit, you probably just call it a day off. Moreover, both experiences and non experienced gamblers still loses at each point in time.

Yes it is true, everyone is responsible for there actions and we are all entitled to make our own decisions so whatever the outcome maybe we are to face it on our own. Once a gambler is able to admit his responsibility, that is when he will know how to behave when he wins and loses bets.

it is very easy to gst carried away when gambling without self control, gamblers know the right thing to do but they fail to do it because they get greedy and start chasing losses . Gambling is a game of luck and chance but a lot of people try to make it a source of income ans this is something that leads to addiction and also makes them unable to accept their losses.

That's the ideal scenario, but it never happens because no matter how much we want it to , things will turn out differently It's harder to think that way because other factors influence the game, and among those factors are the emotions and adrenaline we experience while playing , which lead us to make decisions that cause us to lose money That's what we must avoid at all costs, which is why, as players, we must be very responsible with our money.
