Almost thought we have some premier league action today and thought I forgot to make some changes to my fantasy team after getting a notification of the Arsenal versus Chelsea game being played today... Phew that was a close one 😅 just confirmed deadline is over the weekend..

I had the same scare but mine was a few days ago, on Saturday, when they were many games, and I was pretty close to making all my transfers thinking the deadline was going to be for 12pm GMT, luckily for me, I was able to crosscheck and avoid any early transfer that could cost me when the deadline finally arrives.

A few transfers happened and I see Semenyo is already fitting in nicely over at City, I know they're more transfers but thats the only one I'm remembering so far

Ahh man this was a bad round for me. I changed too much at the last minute😂 I had Wirtz and Fernandes but changed both to rice and semenyo.. I also had a feeling that haaland will not score today so I didn't choose him.. instead I took Ekitike as my captain.. I still have 3 players left so maybe they can help me to get some more points so i feel better😁

Today was absolutely terrible for me also I didn't even get a goal from any of my players today, was hoping for a Liverpool CS and they fumbled that as well as Sunderland's GK. At first I also had Wirtz but changed too, I also had Struijk from Leeds for defence but switched him also lol, I didn't wanna pick Haaland, but I gave in and did and he didn't show up at all I even gave him the C badge too . Only have one player left but I doubt this round will be good for me anyways dammit!!

I had Cherki and Ekitike before the game and then when I have seen line ups without Cherki I switched it around to Haaland/Wirtz. Worked out a bit better for me but probably not enough. I never thought United can win this one so missed out on Fernandes and had Haaland captain everywhere.

Oh, you are right. I forgot that the last game in the Premiership is scheduled for Monday. When I saw the schedule, I didn't even read that the Brighton - Bournemouth game is scheduled for Monday. I thought it was on Sunday. It looked weird because why would they schedule only one game on Sunday, but I didn't think about it much.

Kidding aside, we are all still learning a bit about this FPL Challenge mode, but I like it more and more. It is much better than I thought with a solid amount of strategic decisions on our disposal for format where you can change your whole team every week.

Yeah, I love the competition. It really stands out from all pools that are basically all the same, just for different leagues. It would be even better if there are plans to introduce "real" money and not just freebets. I would rather pay a $50 fee for this competition than for a pool.

Yeah this GameWeek has been crazy unpredictable I must say, lot of wacky games and clean sheets where I didn't expect any and some where I did and it didn't happen. All in all we need the weekly reset and let's climb back atop the leaderboards cause this week has been utter shit for me. I don't even have a goal or an assist that's how bad and my last player Bruno is going against the Wolves, like I knew they were playing in better form but I ignored it anyway.

Looks like the game is gonna end 0-0.

I'll take it. I think I finished 3rd in this one - lazy to check the teams behind me.
The biggest mistake was going without Bruno - but he had the toughest matchup and still managed to dominate all categories.

Damn what a drop off for myself only 2 shining (barely) lights are Bruno and Rice but everyone else was held in check this rime out. Anyways we will be up for the challenge next GameWeek not gonna follow that particular challenge but you know what I mean  I might have to start staying away from certain players and quit hoping they do something it's getting pretty frustrating but that is the nature of the sport right.

I was wrong for not putting Bruno as captain, he scored a lot of points against City. I actually trusted Rogers by putting him as captain, but seeing his game last night with various chances and missed shots, I was very disappointed. If only Rogers could score a goal or assist maybe I could be in the top 5, because I saw that most of you on the leaderboard had all played and at that time there were only a few people who put Rogers but didn't make him captain.
