I went with a little bit different approach this time. I'll see if it will benefit me or not. I tried a different approach in BSFL this week and so far it's not going the way I expected. But I think that in the FPL challenge luck has much more influence in the outcome than in the BSFL, so maybe a different approach brings me more luck

Ah, hell. I forgot about FPL and Challenge. Looks like I'm going to have to sneak in the time to do this, or just wing it, tomorrow or early Saturday. Frka says 3 up front for Challenge? Hahaha sometimes it's a shortcut to press the autopick button so as not to miss the deadline... I chose that way as I said before and then changed the formation and replaced 2 players for now.

Including Bruno, Saka and Haaland became the mainstay players this round, when it comes to being smart, I'm not so smart... about the spirit of staying in the spirit of undergoing the FPL League. Grin

Being an FPL manager isn't easy work, imagine having to keep up with all this data just to avoid blanking in these highly competitive league's.. Palmer will be playing interesting, hope these Chelsea boys don't blank because they are inconsistent and they make planning very difficult.

And looking at those players ruled out for the Reds, hope Liverpool won't be in trouble with Citeh because I was thinking of a Reds win..but after looking at this list am not backing them..

Nice. Booked Caladiori in last minute for Chalenhe and he has equalized. Would like to see a winning goal to sweeten the pot but I'm equally happy if Gooners drop points today. Otherwise a rather dull game even as Cala sent a shot wide.

Oh man... I had Mbuemo as a sole defender in my team. He scored what should have been a winning goal for Man United, but the just had to let Tottenham score few minutes before the end of the game. Such a shame... I also captained Saka but he decided to do nothing which got me only 4 points.

Month of October will be a long one, here we go.

Am surprised with how Hull played today, maybe home advantage was the boost they need but sacks that they tied the game cancelling out my Barry winning goal. sooo pissed right now..anyway disappointments are what we saw this weekend, Utd messing up, Liverpool no BTTS list goes on...

Tomorrow I wouldn't mind seeing a goalless game, that would be an interesting result , come on Coventry you can defend better Grin

In the end that equalizing goal by Tottenham costed me third place and that $20 freebet. In the end guys that captained Haaland made much more points than those who didn't. It was expected, but I hoped that Saka would score a winning goal which would give me an advantage. But it didn't happen so now I can only hope that I can get something out of the Matchwinner event.

Event 2 has started and here are our winners for first Game Week which is already over:

Prizes will be paid tomorow since I can see some point recalculations are still ongoing. I don't expect rankings to change but there is minimal posibility.

This event is comprised of 4GW so we have 400$ for event rewards, they will be split in following way:

🥇 1st place: $160
🥈 2nd place: $100
🥉 3rd place: $70
💰 4th place: $40
💰 5th place: $30

Bad start for me once. Really screwed my selections in this one, this was your chance to make up the ground guys. From now on, business as usual.

Event 2 has started, and so have I, but in reverse mode. 31 points in the first of 4 GWs... seems like I've already managed to 🪛 it up beyond repair. I forgot about the challenge on Saturday and had to scrap together a team from Sunday's games, but it didn't work out. It is what it is.

I knew my week was over after the failed captaincy on Saka, I didn't even check back with the rest of my selection as the weekend continued, somehow it saved me the extra stress and headache of decision making and to cap it was not having Haaland and chosing the trio of Barrry, Wissa and Gonzalo, maybe those were the wisest options, but counting out Haaland has always been costly. It's not the way I wanted to start the new event, but if I get consistent for the remaining 4 weeks, who knows where that might lead.

If only that Haaland goal stood to complete the hattrick , this would have been an interesting gameweek but plenty of 2points followed through pushing me backwards and not happy with the results am seeing, but you never know.. maybe today's assets can bring in big results for that much needed leapfrog. Fingers crossed 🤞 Cool

Man, what a disaster for me this gameweek. Four of my players played their games yesterday and I got only 20 points. I don't think that a defender and a midfielder can get me much points so I guess that I can scratch this GW off. I don't remember being this bad during the last season...

So fantasy isn't my strong suite but it turns out FPL challenge is even worse. Really put some thought into this and can still lose badly, and Haaland on the team is still the easiest choice to make -- fuck Away Days.

Another week that my choice of captain would let me down completely, I ignored Liverpool then went with the other boys in Manchester, I hoped for Man United would do better than the last few weeks and chose Bruno as my captain, turned out very badly, If I only I had went with Mbeumo instead, elsewhere a couple of my picks including Manzambi did well with 22 points.

Watched the game and he immediately he had that one on one with goal keeper saved I only thought about prime Salah where this would be games where he gets you the 20 points easily. Seriously I think it’s not only the Liverpool fans that will feel the impact of missing Salah but even us the FPL managers, with Salah you do not need to have Halaand because he can easily matches the Norwegian player numbers easily.

Hopefully Barcola gets better with his final decisions when through on goal if not he will be causing Liverpool points since they do not even have the luxury of creating many clear cut chances like that again
