If individuals are resourceful enough, they will surely know how to keep up with the technology trends we have today. Even if we say that most of the people being laid off, if they use social media platforms along with AI apps, they can surely find a way to obtain profit or a source of income.

However, if an individual's mindset is just to be an employee, in my opinion, they will really feel threatened by AI. So it really depends on the approach and strategy that people will take. Because honestly, there are many talented people who, instead of thinking they will lose their jobs because of AI, used AI through various apps to earn money through social media platforms as well.

You mean becoming an entrepreneur? Well, not everyone is capable of doing this. It's something that requires time and a lot of effort to be able to obtain great results. But in this era where influencers and freelancers are taking the world by storm, anything's possible.

Either way, AI will slowly transform our society in ways that we've never imagined. In the future, human interaction would be virtually non-existent. We will have medical bots, soldier bots, bank teller bots, and even cashier bots operated by AI. It's the way of the future, unfortunately. And we must learn how to adapt to avoid being left behind in the dust. As per jobs in the tech sector, things aren't looking so bright. Maybe there are opportunities in other careers? I hear that technical/vocational skills are in high demand these days. Hopefully, things get better for our economy in the future.

I always said this, AI is not something that can do something all by itself, a human needs to be in touch with it and use it to benefit from it, which means you still need to hire people to use AI, it's like a tool. Saying AI will make us unemployed is like saying photoshop will make graphic designers unemployed, it doesn't, it just makes them learn it, and the ones who declined to learn it ended up unemployed but more people used it later on. AI is same, doesn't matter if it's coding, analysis, or anything else, we will see same amount of people employed, using AI instead of some other software.
Peoples always take too much time for understanding things around them just because of this always chaos around even nothing is threatening them, but they are feeling pressure and creating problems for themselves same happening with AI.

It's nothing new for humans before this too many developments and changes happen every time the call threat and reduction of humans work but nothing happen just like robots they exist and working but no one have problem same is going with AI its technology and this will work for better things and never bring problems because this will work with the help of humans nothing extraordinary going to happen.

At this moment, there is an increase in the demand for jobs related to the creation, operation and development of artificial intelligence systems. The demand for data scientists and analysts who create, train, design and operate artificial intelligence models in industry and other fields will increase. The use of Ai has increased everywhere in keeping with the times. If this continues, the situation of uneducated countries will be very bad. Because low-income people will not understand this, but will lose their jobs.
Uneducated people like those who don't have a certificate or those who went only for the certificate but know nothing about what they studied. Lately, i have seen uneducated people in terms of academics handling more technical aspects of industrialization much better than a few persons who went to study particularly for that course. I think the world is more practically developing, you don't need to be educated to be technical, information is online to study, anybody who falls out in technology is the one at fault.

Perhaps long-term employees who rely solely on their jobs may understandably feel apprehensive about AI. However, if they broaden their perspective, they will understand how it can be a tool to help them. Even while employed, they can use AI to create an additional source of income alongside their regular job.

This means AI can become a source of part-time income with the potential to yield even greater profits than their regular job. If they see that they are generating a steady income through AI and that it remains stable over several years, it can make it significantly easier for them to build more savings than they could with their regular job alone. This is all possible as long as they properly utilize the AI technology available today.

It should not be a threat to those who are well aware about the importance, benefits and uses. The only people who feel threatened are those who do not want to educate themselves on how they can the best out of this Artificial intelligence. It's to help speed up things humans struggle with and also enhance their workload. Their models are also superhuman friendly. Data Analyst and those who write codes feel threatened otherwise because they feel it will take away their jobs. But why not learn AI engineering and how to work with it rather than complaining.

AI is not a threat to job security for jobs that require human intelligence to function, but it is a disruptor on many jobs in many industries. Jobs that require repetitive tasks are facing a phase-out. We can observe this on AI-driven robots in many warehouses.
The emergence of AI has challenged human capability in many industries; in the end, they can co-exist and harmonise their abilities to provide mankind with excellent services and products.

For information about safe and unsafe jobs because of AI, check this article.

It seems that AI jobs and job security is appearing on my FYP lately.

Automation it is. And it's very productive for the warehouses that have that kind of business and the factories too.

Even if these companies are guaranteeing that they're not going to replace their workers with AI technology. They can't just be sure of what it is.

Because there is lesser maintenance and complains from this AI change and lesser labor unions to be worried of.

Ai was created for humans to benefit, the designers was to make things easier but as time went on People are now worried about it taking their jobs. it is crazy why this has suddenly become People fears, humans created Ai but now there is a possibility that it can take over human jobs, quite puzzling to believe. Ai isn't going to take over every job out there some jobs will always require human input

AI can make job losses can be true because some will definitely feel this way when we cannot maximize AI properly and in some jobs that do require speed and machines in them we can be eaten by AI but in the end not all jobs are like that,
There are still a lot of things that require humans in them including in work so even though it is still threatening but it only applies to those who cannot be more open-minded and think conventional is the best because when we can see the positive side with AI then we can make this an advantage where the work we do can run faster than it should.

So that not all things that smell of renewable technology here can be destructive and dangerous, it's just that when we don't want to develop by following the times then we will definitely worry too much about increasingly sophisticated technology including AI.

That is because the AI's are taking over, so there is also people that are worried about them despite the benefits that they also bring to us. That's great if companies are guaranteeing or have made a promise that they will not replace someone else with an AI but it would be better if there is some legal agreements about it or papers that we can sign, only to be more sure of for that last fact that you said there about the AI's, because they might still change their minds in the end.

You're so wrong. Many professions will disappear very soon. In the past, many professions disappeared with technological developments. This is a perfectly natural occurrence. That's how civilization works. As humanity develops, some needs arise and some needs disappear. Technology is something that accelerates this. The development of AI is no different. Many things that are currently in their infancy will reach a very serious level in the coming years. Inevitably, some professions will disappear. This is not a bad thing. However, we need to keep up with the change.

That's right, it's more about adaptation, some jobs disappear not because they disappear completely but because they have migrated by adjusting from the old to the new with a more modern version. For example, in the past, there were no online ordering food stores, but technology has provided an alternative and fast food stores have adopted it to expand their profits.

Some of the characteristics of a COMPUTER are the following: human dependent, not creative, not decisive, no common sense, no EQ, no IQ.

A computer can’t decide things on its own. Yes, it’s accurate and fast but it was built that way by HUMANS. Humans still remain superior because they make and they lead computers. Computers have no consciousness. We should fear humans who use AI more than AI itself,

Humans and AI work better together is true, but just want to let you know that there's entry job that gets replaced by AI because the senior position got their productivity boosted. So it's still a threat to a job security.
We need to acknowledge it so that we can come up with solution not just turning blind eyes.

Within next decades, the economy will shift greatly. The entry job level people who either got fired or never hired at all will come up with their agentic solution and create their own company. That's the solution moving forward.

Yes, to benefit for our own, but the problem is that, it is also being used to take advantage of other innocent individuals, like it is being used to scam here in the crypto world, make misleading promotions for the casinos, and then being used by some employers to fool their bosses into thinking they work organically. This is why AI can also receive a hate. So yeah, that as a worker, there is nothing to worry about as long as we are doing our jobs well.

You mean entry-level jobs, right? Because AI can't replace careers with a certain level of technical expertise. I'm talking about engineers, carpenters, mechanics, etc. At least, not yet. AI's main limitation is the inability to become sentient or self-aware. In other words, not being able to make decisions on its own. So even with all the buzz/hype surrounding AI, essential human jobs would be safe for now.

If we want to avoid being left behind in the dust, we must encourage ourselves to stay updated by learning new skills. Only then, your source of income would be guaranteed. We're living in uncertain times, so anything can happen in the future. Who knows how far will AI go?

And all this is actually normal because we are always moving from one face to the other, and a lot of things keep changing and improving, and the truth is there is no doubt about it that a lot will lose there job as a result to this innovation because of how efficient they can be. and even if it is going to require human input the numbers of those human will be very few.

OP, I read your whole post but I won't quote it because it's too long.
AI is not a threat to job security but there is a lot of speculation about that for so many reasons. First of all, it generates a news for media, it gives them the ability to publish tons of articles regularly. Secondly, it reaps panic in people and lots of AI companies generate tons of profit from it because lots of people are buying their stocks and investing into these platforms.
It's ironic that things are getting easier and people are getting more scared. What did calculator do when it was invented? What did computer do when it was invented? What did cars do when it was invented? Absolutely every invention led to a better quality of life and enormously increased the speed of everything. AI will do the same, it won't end up humanity. Things are exaggerated and people don't want to see that.

AI will probably “replace” certain professions or certain levels of specialists. This is progress, and it is natural. But for everyone else, AI will become an assistant and a wonderful tool for improving the quality of life and work.
Yeah, the entire world cannot be automated and not all the jobs are repeated natured. Initially, AI may look like seizing jobs from human, I believe that making use of AI with accurate prompt kind of jobs will boom and the life style of every human will advance in a rate higher than what we had in last one century of time. Adapting AI might help many professional to secure their job because AI cannot imitate a human but a human may excel with his same job and by adapting AI to enhance skills and producing more advanced results.

AI is actually helping people generate income now if they're just wise and positive about the help it can provide to anyone.
I agree, still personally I have not yet prepared for making use of AI in my coding. I tried once but I felt like my usual approach seemed better and straight forward for solving the problem. I am still not sure, how I could save time with the help of AI because, I feel like that AI can do only what I input and not exact what is needed for my client or I do not know how to input as per my client's requirement. In parts, AI may do better work and not for end to end total job.

AI becoming part of daily work feels strange at first because humans created it for support not replacement. Then suddenly people started to realise that support can also mean fewer humans needed in some places. This is not new though. Every major tool in history reduced the number of people required to do a job. Mechanised farming reduced whole groups of farm workers. Industrial machines reduced factory workers. Computers reduced whole layers of office staff. AI will follow the same pattern.

AI will not take every job. It will take the repetitive parts of many jobs. Anything that requires judgment emotion physical presence negotiation or real-world decision making will still need humans. But the number of humans needed in each role becomes smaller. AI is efficiency. Employers will always choose efficiency when possible. This change is part of the normal cycle of progress. When a new technology is strong enough it replaces old methods and people shift to new types of work. That movement is uncomfortable but it is how every generation has moved forward. Many jobs today exist only because older technologies first removed other jobs.
