A.I not a threat to job security

I have often heard people say all sorts of things concerning Artificial intelligence AkA AI which is fast growing in the world today as it's gradually redefining and creating a new era when it comes to the labour force of the world. There is no jobs that AI cannot do because the application of AI is so vast that almost every sector requires the use of AI.AI is here to stay because AI is looking like the future of the world.
But with all the good potentials that AI holds there are people with the school of thought that AI holds a future problem, which is it has the capacity in replacing the efforts of humans since it's better and faster in the workplace more than man. Is this true which lead me in creating this thread.

AI handles repetitive tasks, not human creativity.

When it comes to AI what most people don't know is that is only good at repeating the same process quickly. This means that AI is programmed in such a way that it only do what it's programmed to do specifically at a more faster rate and time and such things are usually tedious for humans due to the tasky nature of such jobs examples are Sorting data, Detecting patterns which will take humans days to accomplish. But with AI such jobs are made easy what everyone should take note is that AI cannot replace
Human creativity.
Emotional intelligence.
Relationship building.
Leadership and judgment.


 AI creates new jobs instead of only removing old ones

Research has shown us that every major technological break through the world has experienced has replaced some jobs but such break through has also end up creating more jobs for the human population  major scientific breakthrough like the computers, internet, electricity etc just mention it replaced some jobs but created more new ones making the living standards more easier and comfortable. Today you don't necessarily have to go to the library to read because the Internet is here because everything that you will find in the library is available in the Internet. Will you say the invention of the inter replaced writers or library workers no it only enhanced their jobs better. Today AI is one thing that is actually fast employing people even more than some big organizations because alot of people has keyed into the opportunities that AI holds here are some areas AI has actually provided jobs.

Data analysts
Digital creators
Automation supervisors
New types of entrepreneurs

Humans and AI work better together

AI is something that humans should accept and approach with two hands open because AI and human work better. Imagine the time of no Artificial intelligence in your field how many days were it taking humans to work and complete jobs, AI makes workers more valuable, not less because the two is working together as a team and completing these goals. So any thinking about AI in the negative light should have rethink because AI is a super tool that man has invented Because AI
It increases speed
Reduces mistakes
Helps people make smarter decisions
Frees workers from boring tasks

This means people can focus more on Problem solving,Customer care Strategy, Innovation because there is a synergy between Man and AI working perfectly well together.


 AI cannot fully understand humans

There is no need to fear about AI because,AI has no emotions, consciousness, culture, morals, or personal experiences so AI is actually limited to the task it's designed for it can never take the place of man. AI lacks the capacity to Feel empathy,Understand deep human motivations,Form genuine relationships,Take responsibility for society people should know that  many jobs especially in care, leadership, arts, and human service cannot be replaced.


AI enhances human limitations

Humans have natural limitations that they are created with as a human there is a level of jobs you are expected to do and we get tired so AI is only here to enhance our limitations and make us work better and faster. As humans we tends to forget because it's part of us but with AI you can't be forgetting because AI has made a memory for us handling large data instantly.We make emotional decisions when working which is slow compared to machines

AI would replace those who are not specialists in their field of expertise. Those who would be spared are the ones who upgrade themselves to use AI tools effectively let's be honest here. AI would make work easier and faster limiting the number of required staffs in a department to keep it functioning, so there may be reduction in needed manpower and few staff would be needed, those who would validate the output of the AI and work effectively with it to produce designed efficient results.

AI is a multiplier. If you are zero, multiply that by a smart ai (say 100 points), you’ll still have 0, nothing. If your base is 1, then you are as smart as what ai tells you to say or do. Basically you are parroting ai at this point. Many posters in the forum are at this level. If your base is 2, 3, 5, 10, 50 points… then the effect ai has on you goes exponential. Your creativity and ability to work explodes. AI is a tool. Just like google and any other web service. It is only as smart as its wielder. Garbage in, garbage out.

It's very scary when you look at the whole thing with a bigger insight because I could remember like few years back, AI technology wasn't this good and even at this stage it's still very young and you can see the massive impact it has shown both negatively and positively in different field of life. In the field of entertainment and television, it's almost as if AI generated video are getting a whole lot harder to identify from the real life videos and all this is still in the early phase of AI tech. It's obvious that in time coming lots of competition and also opportunities will be open with AI technology especially in the field of jobs.

So I wouldn't say AI isn't a threat to job security. Especially when we're talking about tech jobs. Other jobs would be at risk, too. But only in the distant future. The plan is to roll out AI + Robots to take over the world. The only jobs available would be AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and IT Technicians. Even Bill Gates predicted this. Bad times ahead for all of us.

The world will be at a complete risk of AI + robotics takes sole control of human activities and businesses. Things might go out of control if those machines are given minds of their own to think. The idea from my own stand point is that humans will eventually oversee their activities which will mean more job creation and restructuring.

Studies show that AI will replace 12% of all employees in the USA by 2030. Yes, AI might create new jobs, but I don't think that a waitress could work as a prompt engineer. This is a part of technological development. Some jobs become obsolete, while others are being created.
AI will only become smarter and more efficient, which means that more and more human jobs will get replaced by AI. Jobs that require creativity and other "human" skills. I really want AI to serve the greater good. We don't want movies like Terminator to be turned into some kind of prophecies about the future.

Personally, I think other than that generative text AI or LLM, most other AI is useful and can be used to do tasks way faster than we were able to do before it. AI video generation is such a great tool that one can now create whole movies with it without huge budget.

It depends on us that how we use AI, if we use it for creative work then it's a great tool but if we misuse it to create posts for the forum or blog posts with it then that's not a good use of it.

I agree with you, Today AI is a powerful tool especially on business because if used well it can help them in making accurate predictions, automate repetitive tasks, and make smarter decisions based on data. I know that there are jobs that will be affected because of this but it is our choice if we will adapt to this changes because AI can make our work more handy. If individuals are resourceful enough, they will surely know how to keep up with the technology trends we have today. Even if we say that most of the people being laid off, if they use social media platforms along with AI apps, they can surely find a way to obtain profit or a source of income.

However, if an individual's mindset is just to be an employee, in my opinion, they will really feel threatened by AI. So it really depends on the approach and strategy that people will take. Because honestly, there are many talented people who, instead of thinking they will lose their jobs because of AI, used AI through various apps to earn money through social media platforms as well.

Every time when new development happen too many rumors accused and peoples always fear from this because they feel it's going to be had impact on their life and job, but this is always brought useful things because still many things to do with this and peoples also have new ways of income.

I personally feel this is never been threat because new technology are bringing improvement and also have good impact it's never create problems always needs to stay positive and have good view about them instead of going into way where peoples bring negativity and create chaos.
