And sometimes even after a heavy loss, some still don't realise they are chasing an unrealistic dream; they still believe there is something they are missing, and if they get it, then it will go all right, not realising how deeply in loss they are running. And when they finally do, it will be hard for them to easily forget the loss; they will start chasing their loss, thinking it could be recovered, and the more they try, the more the loss will keep on expanding.
The large losses encountered is because of the person's stupidity, greed, and lack of self control. When someone already have the knowledge that in gambling, no matter how they chase losses, they might end up losing more, the person won't chase loses, and when someone is greedy to make a win by all means, that's when they have more losses. The truth is that addiction just makes a person feel like he always have to win and must win or that he needs to continue playing always for satisfaction.
