during the holidays, should we save our money or should we at least try to make our family happy by spending money to cook good food and to give meaningful gifts?

Holidays must be enjoyed by everyone. If you have enough savings go on a long drive with your family somewhere which attracts your soul. Make some delicious food over there, make a camp and set over there. Feel the nature, feel the chirping of birds, feel the waves of river as life is to short specially now a days you don’t even known that whether you will reach the old age or you will die in youth as the food is hybrid and not natural. You might die because of stress or you will just end up lying on your bed due to specific disease. Better to enjoy now because tomorrow never comes. Life is beautiful.

When it comes to vacations we certainly don't spend money on them every month as they're usually only available at the end of the year. Therefore I believe good financial management is crucial, allowing us to set aside money for emergencies, necessities, investments, and vacations. Vacations are also important for calming the mind especially after overcoming many obstacles throughout the year. Reflecting on our thoughts with a vacation will certainly be better.

So, for me when vacation time arrives, I want to enjoy it without having to worry about saving. After all, we live to enjoy life, and money is earned throughout the year to also enjoy ourselves. Therefore you need good financial management so you can enjoy your vacation without having to sacrifice funds for savings or investments.

During the holidays it is a season for us to always do the most for our family after all the yuletide season is just once a year and it is always important to make the most out of it. But this doesn't mean that you should spend above your means, always do what you can and try not to go above your limits. some people over spend and they forget about the new year which eventually leads to a hard time when the year starts. We should give out gifts and make the season as joyful as possible but it is not wise to overspend

Tbh, it's a tough balance. Imo, you don't need to spend a ton to make family happy. Good food and meaningful gifts don't have to be expensive. Maybe set a firm budget in fiat so you don't dip into your sats stack. The holidays often come with a financial hangover, and you don't want to be selling BTC in January to cover bills. Happy family is priceless, but debt or zero crypto isn't.

This time we are also into discussing family and money question. My answer would be doing everything possible to make family feel or live better. I would not say that a person must spend all his money or even get into debts to buy presents and make family happy. Any present will be the best if it is given from heart. As I understand talk is about saving money and not buying Christmas presents, then I am against it, as presents on Christmas is a tradition.

Saving money isn't a bad thing, but we need to save at the right time and in the right way. We shouldn't always use saving for the future as an excuse to avoid spending, especially during Christmas, a very big and important holiday. This is not just a tradition, but also a time for family members to gather, for everyone to show love and care for one another. These are moments that, even if we become wealthy later in life, we may find difficult to recapture. Therefore, spending is necessary, and I support this view.

First of all I agree that a person should have prepared before and saved before, than try to save on Christmas presents. However, if money is an issues, then we have found a solution (which however isnt perfect). Before Christmas, we agree on a budget of one present. Everyone of us approximately know how many presents he must buy purchase, which also means that others also have same amount of presents to buy. We agree to buy a present that will cost not more than 30 or 50 eur. This prevents awkward situations when you buy body care gift set, and receive latest and most expensive mobile in return.

I think it’s about balance tbh. Holidays come once in a while, so enjoying good food and some small gifts isn’t a crime. You don’t need to overspend or go into debt, but completely avoiding spending can also kill the spirit. Plan a simple budget and enjoy within it.

It depends on your finances. Last year it was great for me, we had a lot of food for the holidays, and I sent everyone a gift, but this year it's different, because of the market condition not that I cannot afford food for the holidays or send my loved ones gifts, but I prefer to be simple I already explain these to my loved ones and they understand, the most important is everyone are present to great each other a happy holiday

it's depends on our finance but we have 11 months in our hands for struggle and for saving it's better to keep some amount aside to spend on one months. Holidays are the better opportunity to expand your social circle, by gifting few things. Creating positive bond ultimately give benefit in next 11months. Having good social circle are essential for mentally or economic conditions. Holidays are basically a chance of investing in relationship it is as important as investment in any business. Investing in relationship is not just about celebration it's basically nurturing the connection that give strength to us in every aspect of life.

It should depend on your ability, if you are able to do it, then you should share by spending a few dollars to buy something valuable, but if not, don't force it, for example by going into debt. Happiness does not depend on what is spent, but being stingy will not make you happy because one form of happiness is giving.

During the holidays, spend what you can afford to spend for things you or your family might need. I am sure people are that responsible enough that they will not overspend during the holidays but some newcomers in this bitcoin field might end up doing so.

The holidays depending on where you live are a time to spend with friends and family those who have missed you during the rest of the year due to busy schedules.

After the period is over we all are going to back our lives anyway.
