Those gamblers were not able to control the urge of gambling. And they have been hooked to it and that's why it ended up that they have to sell everything they have for their urgency to gamble. That's hard to control when they're on that state, I've also known people that did that and it's hard to believe that if you just look at them in the first place, you'll never think of them that they're addicted gamblers. Because they're friendly, caring and family people. But behind those goodness they have as a character, they're not as it seem as it look.

I don’t think you know what it feels like to be addicted to something that’s why you still think it’s weird that people who are addicted to gambling would go as far as to use their assets to gamble. There’s this feeling of unrest, as if your life would end if you don’t do it.
