i’ve never used the ignore button so far. for some reason, even if someone has been ignored by the entire forum, or even if their posts are pure trolling and completely empty, no one has managed to annoy me enough to make me use the ignore button. if i don’t like a message or the person who posted it, i just scroll down a bit. also, even if someone deserves to be ignored, i’m still a bit curious about what they’re writing.
still, if i were to use the ignore feature, i’d definitely want it to come back. maybe not in a way that’s too distracting, but something similar to the “trust color” on bpip. (or whatever the old version was like):

i think a term like “ignore color” wouldn't be a bad idea for bpip, or for the forum either.
don’t people who actively use ignore ever wonder what’s written in that empty space? If you mean our post and our account on the Bitcointalk forum, then I know that someone has ignored me from the forum and it was probably because of my language. A member of my community with whom I had a conversation and I did not listen to him, then he ignored me from the forum. Now, in fact, he knows better whether he has done anything to me or not and it has been a long time since he has not even posted mentioning me. It should be like this, using the ignore button does not do anything, but it seeks to reopen what he has written. If we do not like a person or his language, we should not read his post like you do. This is a good idea and everyone should have this thought that if we do not like someone, we should not talk to him but not push him away in this way.
