A Company can grow only when it's employees grow. Giving bonuses,respect and salary on time are the key factors in retaining the employees for the long term basis . Moreover, there are more other options that company can introduce if it is financially strong or big company. Like they can offer housing scheme where company every months can cut their salaries little percentage in the name of installment or it can offer yearly reward that is outside country visit , for those who are doing exceptionally. These offers will be catchy for the employees or encourage them, So they will never think to go against the company because they feel secure. Employees trusted more or works sincerely and honestly for the well being. Only cutting or strict actions does not big changes or improvement in the company. It just create hatred emotions in the heart of employees.
Typically the success of any company or business is primarily due to the role of its employees. To maintain and grow we must retain our best employees to prevent them from leaving or resigning. Essentially the best employees will stay with your business or company if they feel appreciated able to develop and work in a positive environment. Salary is important but it's not the primary or sole factor that keeps employees engaged. Sometimes companies or businesses that focus solely on high salaries without considering other aspects such as employee career development will also lead to employee turnover. Career development opportunities are crucial for motivating employees to work with enthusiasm. For example promotions or job rotations encourage them to continue learning. Employees will typically stay if their workplace values their abilities as the company or business values employee development.

Employees act differently, they're people who gets to a point in your company where they want to be treated nicely, and would wish others to be compassionate about them, their outputs may be less at times like this, because nobody would pay attention to this due to the working environment, the kind of settings the company adopts. Most times, people in this set, go unnoticed, thereby leading to poor performance, and the company looking at making a change with a new employee probably, not knowing all they needed do is to reframe the way the company operates, so that it'll be comfortable for the supposed employee who is facing the need for care, and compassion, then their outcome as usual would boost again.
That's what an inconsiderable company management does, employees doesn't leave the company they're working without informing the company, there must be something that led to it so actually the first thing the management should do is to revisit the salary payout of all the position if they need to update or some extra working allowance they should have updated, before opening for any employment because one thing about people is that when they're in so much challenge they wouldn't mind the job but after years when they have built a well professional experience on the job then there apatite for increment will starts and again that's how the company will be slowing there work speed because of how all there workers are leaving them.

In order to retain employees, the employer should listen to the former and respect its rights. The employees have the right to be well-compensated. The employer or management should also make sure that its employees have good work-life balance.
I think this is very important because most employers are fond of shutting the mouths of their employees because they feel they don't deserve to say anything but should only focus on their jobs. Employers really need to give good attention to their employees because it is the only way to know what the problem may be in your business or company. I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
an entrepreneur is supposed to have an employees when his business has expand today extend that one person cannot control it, and then if the business also have difference sessions that deals with finance and delivery etc. And the world will make an entrepreneur to retain an employee and also keep the employee for the company is because of the duties the employee discharge in the company for the growth and the benefit of the company, but any employee that does not have the ability to to make the company grow based on it discharge of function that particular employee is not supposed to be retain in the company because it does not have any positive impact that will enable the company to grow

For you to retain your employees, I think you should know how they feel not just about what they earn alone. People like to work and stay in an organization where they feel respected, they are being heard and also involved in decision making. When you as the employer appreciates their efforts in the company, give them constant feedback and attention and trusting them with real responsibility go a long way. This also helps in creating sense of ownership where it lets them see how their work contributes to the progress of the company. Also, giving small wins like (awards, gift or bonuses) and celebrating progress keeps energy high. Your company should be a place of growth where they can learn and improve too. when the employees feel comfortable with where they are working they will surely want to stay longer.

Employees dont leave company, even if they were offered a better payment, if their employer is good. The answer is simple, be a good boss, and employees will stay. If employer is good with his employees, employees wont even try to find other job. Question is - how to be a good boss. That is complicated, as personal approach needs to be found with any employee boss face and communicate with. Boss need to be on same wave with his employee. He should not be a person who only give tasks and pay.
So how can an employer be a good boss and pay his employees low. A good boss will always know how to appreciate his/her employees very well so that their pay will be worth their work and a good employer or boss knows when it is necessary to increase their employees pay. No matter how good an employer is, once employees see better opportunities or a better pay outside where they are, they will always want to leave. No matter how generous or good their boss may be when they receive low pay, they will still want to look for another job with better pay since the one they are currently doing is not enough due to inflation and can’t cover up their bills well enough, they will keep moving until they get a better pay that suits them.

I agree, employees must be rewarded whenever they deliver their jobs and be disciplined when they goes opposite, but the reward system should be greater, that's the only way to retain them, at times they have a better pay but they keep working with you because of the way treat them, at times employees accept a work that has good reward system than high paying jobs, the way your treat your employees that's how productive they will be, if you maltreated them they will never be productive. As a boss create a relationship with your staff, know everything about them , sympathize with them when they're grieving and celebrate with them when celebrating any anniversary, make them a family and see how your company will grow.

This thread is quite old but I love to say something that I really wanted to say for long; humans are made to be comfortable when the condition seem to be in there favour and my mentor once said that the only way to kill a man’s dream or ambition is to give him all that he thinks he wants but deny him his needs. The need here is freedom or to have more ambition that will lead to leaving your company, so all you have to do is pay him extra that can solve there current issue or solve the issue and let them decide it’s they will leave or not and see the magic. Once they have it coming or you did them a favour you’re entitled to their loyalty in their unconscious mind, this is the rule of corruption and politics in the world.

I like your opinion but we all know how things are these days, because for someone to secure a job now not even government job, it is very difficult and that's why you see a lot of majority people don't quit their job even though they continue to face issues, because they already have responsibilities and they have no successfully secure another place that is why they keep on waiting till that day the found one. I think it is very easy for someone to retain is employees, the only thing they need to do is to take good proper care of them give them what they need, satisfied them with their entitlement then honestly they will love to stay because they have a very good treatment.
Actually I think it depends a lot on the individual in this place like if a person is well skilled and if he does not get proper respect from that company it may be his salary and the behavior of the officials in that company then I don't think that skilled person will stay in that company for long because those who have skills can easily find another good job placement. But this issue will be very difficult for those who have as usual common skills. In their case the issue is that even if they do not get proper respect for fulfilling the responsibilities, they continue that job because they have no alternative way.

If you find yourself in an environment where you are not respected the best thing you should do is to leave and try another place probably a good place where you will be respected and your talent or skills appreciated. Employers will disrespect you if you do not know your worth but if you a a staff that knows your worth and you can deliver your role in the company very well then you can leave once you are not getting the best treatment in your office.
Sometimes it is just unfortunate some of us are desperate about money. Because we need to live a life and you can hardly do so today without having money for yourself. Money is almost what you need today to achieve your goals, to pursue your career to an extent, to support your family, to support your loved ones and many more. When you have money, you are less concerned about the uncertainties which follow our daily lives. This is really the reason why we are all looking for this money like fowls and the reason why someone can be disrespected.

It’s no longer just a matter of “almost” money has now become everyone’s top priority. Everyone needs money and many people spend their time working hard because they need it. But sometimes, there are indeed instances where someone is treated disrespectfully just to make money. Even though that’s wrong, we can’t deny that everyone’s circumstances and difficulties are different. I believe in the saying, “Others won’t understand unless they’re in our shoes.”

To retain workers, you need to be a kind and understanding person. Pay them their wages properly and on time, treat them with respect and try to be friendly with them. Being friendly doesn’t mean losing boundaries, so you should keep a proper balance while still showing a generous attitude. If you treat them well and take care of them, they will naturally give their best effort in your work.

So many employers look down on their workers, as if they are the only ones doing a favor for their workers, and there is no favor in return from employees. One thing people need to understand is that everyone has a role to play.

Employers will disrespect you if you do not know your worth but if you a a staff that knows your worth and you can deliver your role in the company very well then you can leave once you are not getting the best treatment in your office. Well understood and definitely the right thing to do when not treated well by your employer or the company you work for. But the truth is that so many would want to actually leave but forced to stay because of they’ve not yet gotten another opportunity out there, not like they are not looking out for one, they actually do but at that point where that better opportunity hasn’t come yet they will be forced to remain there instead of being jobless and at the end of the day, their effort isn’t appreciated by their employer.
