I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
Give them value, quality over quantity, and be honest but in professional way, when we say something or do something that upsets them, they start having thoughts about resignation, if you are hiring people, then you must have some knowledge about HRM because this field will give you an idea on what you should look in people, what methods you must use while hiring, what to do and what not to do.

As I have read this field as one subject in one of my courses in university but it was not a deep one but I can surely mention few methods for you to look on Internet if you are interested.

S.T.A.R System was my favourite and I guess it was asked in the exame too.

There are many others but you have to read about them by writing on google "alternative systems of Star or Heart in hiring" This will give you more idea.

I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
This time around they don't care to take good care of their employees, they are just after the profit they would make from them which is not supposed to be.

 Honestly, there's nothing good than taking care of your employees because that's exactly what makes them feel happy in the job, but I don't know why most of them normally make things difficult for their workers knowing that they are the ones promoting our business.

Taking good care of employees and treating them nicely makes them happy, they will always want to continue there once they know you're a good boss and you won't even have to stress a lot about advertisement of your business, they will do it happily and willingly as if it were their own . Also communication is key, then pay them what is worth their services. Some employers of service don't pay or treat their workers well that is one thing that may help retain them.

Explain why you do certain things.
Most of the participants of this discussion said the same thing that you should pay fairly but bro tell me what if we are short on funds and these CEOs are not mostly rich and the op asked as an entrepreneur so he probably be asking about a startup, which we know what actually is.

But if it is not about the pay, then these days many people are working together on a good project just for their portfolio because they have plans to move on later or if their projects do well and make them rich then they proceed with it as early developers or they move on to other startups or companies. Everyone has their plans, but pay them fairly can't be right.

The thing about retention is, most people that ask about retention are already operating from a position of scarcity. Like employees this finite resource you need to hoard. Which, okay, maybe they are in certain markets, certain skill sets, but that's not really the problem that you're trying to solve.

You're trying to solve the problem of people waking up and deciding that your company isn't worth their time anymore. And that's a different thing altogether. That's something about meaning, or the lack of it. Or maybe it's about respect. I don't know. I've seen people stay at objectively terrible jobs because they existed by how people saw them, I've seen people bail from cushy positions because there was just something about the place that made them feel hollow.

Hire people for problems only they could solve. Give them space to solve those problems in the ways you didn't expect them to. Pay them enough that money is no longer considered the calculation of every day. Then see what happens. Some will leave anyway. That's fine. The ones who stay are going to stay for real reasons.

I think you should provide a sense of comfort for your employees, because comfort will make them happy. Relying solely on salary alone isn't enough as in many cases many of the best employees leave despite being well paid. Money can't replace many things especially comfort at work.

To provide comfort you have to do simple things as not many can do this. For example don't interrupt employees' breaks, as this is valuable time for them. Don't start meetings after work and don't contact employees outside of work hours (unless it's a very urgent matter). If someone requests leave, don't ask for the reason it's their right and paychecks must be paid on time.

I don't want to say this is a lie but I will disagree that this is wrong. You are setting up yourself for problems later. There is nothing wrong in treating a fellow human nicely but there is dignity in labour, if you want to treat people's right, do it but be strict when it comes to your job/company/business. The same employees will leave you for other jobs if they see a better pay . They wouldn't think twice before they switch to another job if they get a bigger payment from anoyeht place.

Other than the list you made, I will say an employer should respect their staffs and not abused them. This is not discussed well enough about abuses that happen in companies and other places people work to earn a living. I once had a small ish with my employer, this woman curse me out of anger and I resigned immediately. I left and she thought I was going to come back even though the payment wasn't worth it, I was doing all I have to gather experience and she made me leave at the perfect time and she doesn't respect all her workers.

To crown everything, don't owe employees their money, nobody enjoy working without good pay unless you want to see less motivation from your staffs.

The moment you think that you need employees is when you already have a lot of areas that you can't complete on your own, a lot of focus that you do but also a lot of other work that needs to be done when the business starts to grow that's where you need employees, but if you are still able to handle all the affairs in your business by yourself don't think that you add employees because you can do it means don't waste money on things that you are still doing.

And the way to retain employees is for you to be transparent about the tasks and functions that will be carried out then give them proper support both from salary, motivation and bonuses or such so that you can work with them, simple as that.
Your point is realistic about management of employees in a firm. When business grows and reaches a stage where an individual can no longer manage his responsibilities alone then the company needs to hire employees. As business expands its mean task is increased for already hired employees so there is need of some other individuals and this step may lead to maintaining the efficiency of the product. But in some cases we observe that many owners can hire people randomly even if they don't need hiring but they do that and then many problems are created and it leads back to the company. On the other hand after hiring a qualified staff the main step  is the retaining of employees employed. If Owenets gives respect to his employees by gaining hos trust by giving Fair salaries. So if we can gain trust an employee can feel support and  value and when employees are happy then they contribute positively for the progress of business.
Indirectly hiring ack people is a mistake, this can be avoided by having HR who has the quality to understand the needs of employees in certain positions and match positions with their characters and skills, as an owner, of course, you can sort and choose if you are objective about the positions that will be assigned to others and usually people who already have a fairly developed business will understand spikology and also human character, choosing randomly is a mistake that business owners should not take.
Often qualified employees when they have satisfaction with the support of them, productivity will greatly increase because they are economically safe and there are no problems so their productivity arises from a calm state of mind and heart at work.

Treat them like humans and they will stay. There welfare should be taken seriously and you won't lose them. As your profits are increasing and the business is expanding, make sure that your staffs are also reaping the benefits. Treat them like professionals whom you need to achieve your vision and not just as employees that you can discard at anytime. People give their best and remain in an environment were they are loved and have a sense of belonging with good pay.

When we can no longer handle our business alone, that is when we will start to need help from someone else. In this situation, we will have to consider hiring a trustworthy employee to help us with our work. However, before doing so, we must look at our business budget. Will we be able to afford an employee or not? If so, what is the minimum wage we can use to pay our employees? And once we have employees, there are other conditions or challenges that we must overcome. First, new employees need our help as their boss during their adaptation period. We must train them well while ensuring their comfort while working. We must be firm bosses, but we must still maintain certain boundaries. Being firm does not mean being harsh, but rather disciplined. And to make employees feel at home, I think based on my own experience, a boss at work must indeed be professional as a boss and leader. But outside of working hours, we must maintain a closer relationship with employees and treat them like friends. And that is very comfortable based on my own experience.

This is what I mostly see from the employees who are ranting in social media and even in reddit.

We don't like being micromanaged by the companies where we're working with, although we're hired to do the tasks. But it comes to the point that every single move, we're watched.

There is nothing wrong for the employers when they do that. Although in the part of employees, we understand that it should also set a boundary from working and having personal space.

I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
When an entrepreneur hires an employee, to retain him, he would need to educate him well on that business he or she was called for, he should be treated well and given the opportunity to loan and incentives and making the salary attractive base on his or her work. Giving out bonus to the Best employee, atleast it will motivate them to work very hard and become productive. Salary increments as years pases by to make the work more lucrative.

Managing all of this effectively isn't easy, especially when the financial situation is volatile. A leader must be able to calm the situation by encouraging employees to understand each other.

Another factor that makes employees feel valued is encouraging them to discuss and exchange ideas to resolve emerging issues. Honesty and openness are the main foundations for building trust.

I believe there are almost no problems for employees if the company is progressing and developing well; in fact, many people are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to work for it. However, if the company is experiencing problems, employees sometimes don't want to know what's going on and still demand their full rights. Therefore, if I were a leader, I would be more selective in selecting employees and making binding agreements. Furthermore, I would also value employees who consistently contribute to the company, deserving of bonuses and even guaranteeing promotions.

Any employee should, first and foremost, PROFIT from working for a specific employer. This is an immutable rule.

Another question is how this can be implemented. Standard practice is to offer company shares as a bonus in addition to their base salary, which incentivizes employees to participate in the development of the company \ business. In other words, each employee becomes a "partial" owner, which changes the situation from "working for money" to "working for money + developing their own business".

It must be acknowledged that hired employees perform poorly (relatively), as they lack motivation to develop the company, and their primary goal is to maximize their own benefits (salary). Meanwhile, employees who are "partial owners" are interested in the deferred benefits that accrue from the company's development through the appreciation of the company's shares. This is beneficial for both employees and the company's owners, as well as for the business itself. It's no wonder that this model is used by all Western businesses.

Besides that, employees have a passion for the job; high pay is basically what will keep them in your organisation for a long time. Even those who have a passion for the work will leave if they get a better offer somewhere else.

A good relationship with them will also make them feel relaxed and make them love your organisation. There should also be plans for growth and development since everyone doesn't want to remain in one spot or position for a long time. You should also have insurance and retirement plans for your employees.
