I have no doubt that gambling has changed lives for good especially for the responsible gamblers who are in control of their gambling and understands bankroll management. But I'm sure that gambling has ruined more lives especially the ones of those that gamble responsibly they see gambling as a get rich quick scheme and they chase loses to achieve it. Gambling is addictive and for many people who don't understand self control and bankroll management like I said earlier they will always regret, they are the majority that is why it seems like gambling is changing lives for worse. I find your opinion is good think about by gamblers because its better for gambling to be treated as form of entertainment rather than step to get wealth. In reality house always win in long run and provably they might get broke first before they can hit their target to get rich from gambling.

Gambling should always remain just entertainment, because if you try to give it too much importance, it can become discouraging, because it is not a job that can bring predictable profits, it is a place where you can lose money. And I think any survey will show that a minority remain profitable in gambling, while the majority lose, from this we can draw a simple conclusion that we should not get involved in this too seriously.
