If your losses surpass your wins since you started gambling this year, then obviously you didn't make money from gambling, it's same with a lot of gamblers, that's why it's said that gambling is not profitable on the long run, if it was profitable on the long run, many people would be relying on it, I don't take gambling very serious but for the most times I played this year, it was a mix of luck and lose, but yet something good came out.

I haven’t calculated my total win and total loss for the year which I don’t even think am going to do that, I don’t really think is of any use. I don’t have to calculate before I know if I win more or lose more this year.

I gamble so much this year, I will say I gambled almost every week this year, but if I will be saying the truth, then my lose is just more than my win, I don’t have to make any calculation before I know that. Sometimes after winning from gambling, I will decide to keep on gambling, and am going to lose everything back to gambling. Am not really going to call that a win, because it was lost back to gambling. If most people will be honest with their report, you will notice that most of them lose more than they win.

I think if someone is not trying to make money from gambling, then there's really no need to track whether you profit or not, because as you have said, it's most likely that we are going to end up losing a lot more than we win. As long as we stick to our bankroll, and not gamble anything more than that, then it should be fine. Only those who gamble for a living would probably be super conscious about their profits.

Without reading further, my answer is no. I don't even need to calculate my expense on gambling this year but it should be on the losing side. Although I am a gambler that don't focus more on profits but I gamble more for fun so I am not always concerned about the losses since I always gamble with little money. But despite that, there are times the winnings will come and there are also times that the losses will come in as well. So judging from the times I won and lost, the loese are more.

If you gamble for fun but your losses are significantly higher than your profits is it still worth it to continue? typically that's what gambling 8s all about right? but i feel like there's no point in having fun with something that makes you lose in the long run especially if they are huge amounts of money...if the amounts that you have lost is nothing and is what you can lose easily then it wouldn't cause any harm

It might be difficult to calculate my gambling expenses since I don't keep comprehensive records. If I can recall I had some big wins this year that would have covered my entire gambling expenses. Luck was on my side and I won massive like three times this year. Therefore my answer is yes. Next year,  I might have to do a monthly summary of my wins and losses so that it will be easy to have a yearly report.

You took the right decision. Sometimes it's good to slow down and evaluate how you have fared over the years in an activity. My gambling budget is also very low because my income is not much when I deduct expenses. If you want to enjoy gambling, just do it for fun. Loss is the most probable event in the rational hopes, hence the outcome of the survey should not be dismissed by those who are conversant with the statistics of probability. The information about the balancing choices will be very important so that the fortunes of the players are seen in a more explicit and detailed picture. Recently i'm become rarely to play gambling of course because of having a responsbilities but im still aware with the current sports happening so previous games such as the EPL from my capital of 100$ I still ended up gained for an another 150$ and then got guts for playing my extra funds with the Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Sugar rush game and hit a good multiplier combo ended up roughly 500$ just this december so I guess still a profitable game and a not bad call before the year 2025 ends.

I am expecting more people to lose than 76.7%. I am expecting something like 90 to 95% of people to be losing. But what I know is that as some people will make money from gambling this year, next year may be different. Although, few among people that lost this year can make profit next year. But in overall, most people are losing, a good reason to gamble with just little amount of money.

The answer is no. I didn't profit from gambling this year but I didn't lose much either. If I were to put it into percentages, I'd probably win 30% and lose 70%. Furthermore I'm not the type of gambler who gambles every day I gamble based on my mood and when I have extra money. I rarely gamble on slots, but I often bet on sports, so I can remember that I still lost more than I won this year. In my deposit and withdrawal history, deposits also dominate my account.

I won't lie at all because I lost 60% of the times I gambled in 2025 and won the remaining 40%. However, in 2026 I will mainly participate in gambling for money, and I also participated in gambling only for money in 2025. I don't have enough money to spend just on entertainment because I have many other ways to entertain myself. When I can manage enough money, I might take up gambling as entertainment.

It seems like I need to accumulate everything by saying no, on average I lose when gambling, if I think about the winnings I get, you know, everything also goes back to the casino to test your luck and in the end it also runs out, it's really ironic. LOL

I chose no and that is because from my assessment, I didn't make profits this year. In spite of the outcome, I still consider this year a remarkable year in my life as a female gambler. My interest in gambling actually started in ernest when I joined this forum, before now I was just that girl who neither loved nor hated gambling and I mostly was never active. This year, I was active, enjoyed the process, lost money but never got addicted. I'm still proud of myself as a gambler.
