A reference from poll that we should gamble for fun

I vote yes, and some may not believe it, but it's true that I made money this year from gambling, though don't think it was a large amount. The results were quite helped by the contests and tournaments I participated in, so I think without contests and tournaments the result might be nothing. However, I was quite lucky this year, and hopefully next year will be better by participating in more contests while gambling moderately.

I am a little confused to answer, because it is true that I made money from gambling in 2025 but at the end of the day I spent it again on gambling. So at the end of the day I did not make any profit or gain anything but it is true that I had fun in the middle. I got acquainted with the game of poker also I got acquainted with some new casino games. Also, this year I got the biggest multiplier, so I will say even if I could not make a profit from the casino this year, I had fun.

If your losses surpass your wins since you started gambling this year, then obviously you didn't make money from gambling, it's same with a lot of gamblers, that's why it's said that gambling is not profitable on the long run, if it was profitable on the long run, many people would be relying on it, I don't take gambling very serious but for the most times I played this year, it was a mix of luck and lose, but yet something good came out.

I agree with you, gambling isn't profitable in the long run, even if there are big wins, they're likely only occasional. And indeed, if there were long-term profits, many people would be addicted to gambling. Despite this reality, some people still rely on gambling, and those are the ones who are addicted.

I voted no, I bet only a few times during this year and I did it in a controlled manner, however even though I bet little, what I got were losses. I always say that I play for fun, but losing causes me some frustration.

It's gambling. Expect that a higher percentage of us will lose in the long run. I had my share of winning moments in slots and sports betting, and I am just stupid that I continued playing. I could've just walked away, but I used the winning money every day as a budget to play more and try to repeat that high multiplier that I received. Sadly, it didn't happen again until now, so I am at a loss.

Create your own code of rules that will ensure a safe approach to the game, and you'll develop your own system for managing the situation. This may well improve your win-loss record in your favor. I feel the same way. It's not just you; everyone experiences the same thing in gambling. Sometimes, we get lucky and think we're lucky, but then we gamble again and use that money to multiply our winnings, only to lose it all again and return to zero, We're forced to use our previous hard-earned money to gamble again.

All losers are the same, including me. We always hope for a better year. Is there any luck that can bring good things next year? We don't know, but we have to try. Happy New Year.

I haven't really been keeping track of my gambling activities so I can't really say if I have won more or lost more because I haven't really sat down to keep track of it. whenever I feel like getting somethings out of my head I just put a few dollars that I can afford to lose on.my favorite casino games and it doesn't really cause any harm for me because I'm doing it to have fun and not to get rich from it

I chose no, but I'm surprised to see that almost 26% of the total submissions for the poll say that they have made money from gambling this year, because that number is surprisingly high for me, and I'm happy for whoever has actually managed to make money from gambling this year because gambling doesn't generally let you have profits in the long run as long as you can regularly gambling, it's different if you gamble, get some wins, and then don't gamble for months, but if you are gambling on a regular basis, or at least gambling often, then staying profitable is very challenging.

For me, not only this year, but I don't think I have ever been profitable in gambling, even though I don't gamble for profits and only do it for fun, but I have generally never been lucky enough to get any big wins that would put me ahead of the losses I had previously, so I have won and lost small amounts throughout the course of my gambling career, but the losses are probably way higher than the overall wins, but those who are actually making money fromm gambling are truly lucky, I would say.

Winning a gamble and then spending it all on gambling is perfectly normal. I suspect most gamblers have done this and perhaps even still enjoy it. But clearly, even if you make money gambling, it won't equal the amount of losses you've experienced, right? Can you remember all your winnings from the beginning of this year until now? Compare that to your losses?
I do make money gambling with the occasional bet, but in retrospect, it doesn't cover all my previous losses. Gambling for fun is a good thing, as it can prevent you from developing a serious gambling addiction.

The NO will take the highest number. I played gambled and win but was used again in the casinos and loss all back to the casinos so I am still on the losing side of the year. I gambled in Stake and others casinos and the year was bad for me. We try next year. We pray luck shine next year. I was not surprised to see the number of yes because definitely all gamblers are not the same and we don't share the same luck.  Congratulations to those winners of the year.

Obviously there will be more losers than winners. So far there are only 20 winners out of 73 voters. My vote is “no”, even though I have been very lucky this month, my cumulative losses this year are wayyyy higher than my winnings. Maybe I should try playing the lottery next year. Who knows, I might hit the jackpot.

It's for belly purposes. If I had several BTC lying around, I'd be applying my moral high horse on signature campaigns as well. But, at the moment, I can only apply my moral high horse on polls and comments.
