Winning the lottery is always a stroke of luck, and there's a lot of hype about such wins. If you're saying only X has written about it, it might not be true, I haven't actually checked. But I believe you can only win the lottery if you're incredibly lucky. I'm not sure a series of coincidences plays a role, I'm more of a believer that if you're destined to get something, you'll get it no matter what, and all the other events that seem random are simply everyday occurrences, that happen around us every day.

I checked other replies after posting and confirmed the story is true, but it happened way back in 2018.

And yes, lottery wins are purely luck, no ifs and no buts. We're talking about millions of odds against winning, so it's not destiny, belief, or guidance, it's always by chance.

You may want to argue that what if he had spent the refund on something else rather than buy the lottery ticket, but fact is, he bought the lottery ticket and it's because he returned the $5 juice which his wife disapproved, if his wife accepted the juice, there would have been no lottery ticket to win.


Anyways, this is too damn a coincidence though, and this left me wondering if there is really any spiritual side to gambling for real cus situations like this are too mysterious for the ordinary human mind to comprehend..
I asked myself questions like...
 - why did the wife had to reject the juice?
 - and why didn't the husband just pick up offence with the wife for rejecting the juice and simply leave the juice laying around anywhere in the house?
 - what pushed the man to return the juice for a refund? And what pushed him to go buy lottery ticket with the refunded money he received?
Can all of this be coincidence?

Thinking the wife had any influence on the outcome of the ticket is like thinking your analytical skills will help you in gambling, yeah right. Indeed, lottery and slots are not games of strategy; it takes luck and consistency to win such a game because there is no chance for analysis and observation, and even if you do a good observation, there is no guarantee or possibility of you hitting the pot based on your observation neither can you even think of using strategy to play lottery and slot games.

I'm more interested in how the couples are going to spend the money. If I'm the one that win that money, no part of that money will be going back to gambling again. It’s just a coincidence. At some point, if his wife hadn’t rejected the juice, he wouldn’t have gotten a refund. His wife didn't really make him win the game because she's not the one responsible for his winning the fact is that he got lucky but his wife played a huge role in making it possible for him to win the lottery. you don't get to see people winning such amounts regularly in gambling.  saying that his wife made him win the lottery is inaccurate because it is just a coincidence that he was able to win. Gambling games varies hence the varous approach towards it, and that is why you see the luck and skill-based games being talked about, but in all, the principles of gambling supersede all of them, which is "gamble for fun" and also having a budget with what you can afford to lose while gambling. Yes, there's no point in looking for deep meaning in events that aren't actually connected. If we go further, I think we can find other events that "led" this couple to first buy the juice and then return it. Then we can assume that those previous events were also "insights" and the reason for their win. These are delusional thoughts. But overall, I wouldn't mind testing them out for myself—the main thing is to get a hundred million dollars and then talk about why I'm so lucky

That is a coincidence or came up story. Anyone who has won in a lottery can build a logic explanation how random action lead him to buying a lottery ticket and nobody would be able to check it. I guy who has won Christmas Eve Jackpot of $1.8 billions with $2 ticket could came up with a story, that "those $2 he was planning to spend on a medicine because he was very sick, but he took a risk and bought a lottery ticket", to add more drama to this story and make it more catchy.

Well, this is a chain of events from the category that is a miracle. It has nothing to do with gambling or lotteries at all. In the sense that there are all kinds of miracles. For example, I remember a video clip of a father with a small child in his arms and a larger child (he was walking a couple of steps behind his father) coming out of the entrance of an apartment building, and rocks fell on the place where his son had just passed because a drone flew into the house. Some disappointment could actually turned a blessing, when we don't know that things work at the best of their time, we don't have to worry that everything must come the way we expected, sometimes delay could come in a form of an opportunity for better allocation instead of seeing it as a denial, we are to gamble and learn from others experience including the success story of the lottery won.

I don't know if the image OP shared is real. What I do know is that such coincidences happen quite often. As you mentioned, if you hadn't accepted your friends' invitation, you wouldn't have had that experience. Many coincidences occur that are beyond our conscious understanding and capacity.

When everything happens so coincidentally one after another, you stop and think, What's going on? It's as if everything that was supposed to happen has aligned. I believe in fate things happen suddenly, without us even realizing it.

Ah, so that's how it is. No wonder I had a little trouble finding the source of this story. Apparently, it happened quite a long time ago. But in my search, I found another story that is also quite interesting.

It's about Jerry and Marge Go Large, the story of a retiree who won the lottery not just once but multiple times using a mathematical formula. Apparently, he managed to win using only basic arithmetic. Honestly, I don't know how he did it. But what I want to highlight is that he was indeed quite lucky in this case, aside from his arithmetic calculations, which actually gave him a greater chance of winning big.
