Winning the lottery is always a stroke of luck, and there's a lot of hype about such wins. If you're saying only X has written about it, it might not be true, I haven't actually checked. But I believe you can only win the lottery if you're incredibly lucky. I'm not sure a series of coincidences plays a role, I'm more of a believer that if you're destined to get something, you'll get it no matter what, and all the other events that seem random are simply everyday occurrences, that happen around us every day.

I checked other replies after posting and confirmed the story is true, but it happened way back in 2018.

And yes, lottery wins are purely luck, no ifs and no buts. We're talking about millions of odds against winning, so it's not destiny, belief, or guidance, it's always by chance.

You may want to argue that what if he had spent the refund on something else rather than buy the lottery ticket, but fact is, he bought the lottery ticket and it's because he returned the $5 juice which his wife disapproved, if his wife accepted the juice, there would have been no lottery ticket to win.


Anyways, this is too damn a coincidence though, and this left me wondering if there is really any spiritual side to gambling for real cus situations like this are too mysterious for the ordinary human mind to comprehend..
I asked myself questions like...
 - why did the wife had to reject the juice?
 - and why didn't the husband just pick up offence with the wife for rejecting the juice and simply leave the juice laying around anywhere in the house?
 - what pushed the man to return the juice for a refund? And what pushed him to go buy lottery ticket with the refunded money he received?
Can all of this be coincidence?

Well there is a saying that every disappointment is a blessing his wife's rejection and his anger brought him the success at the end of the day,

Story like this always gets to me, because let's imagine if the guy had lost after spending the $5 for the ticket. Thinking the wife had any influence on the outcome of the ticket is like thinking your analytical skills will help you in gambling, yeah right. Yes the motion from the wife took him there but she did not even tell him to refund and then but a lottery ticket so in no way is she connected to his victory.

Some of us may not see it but this is like someone claiming they 'discovered' your talen, when all they did was to tell you to go into the theatre and perform and if you turn out good, they claim they discovered your talent

Assuming the story is actually real, this man may have just received the shock of his life, can't imagine how he felt that day.

Indeed, lottery and slots are not games of strategy; it takes luck and consistency to win such a game because there is no chance for analysis and observation, and even if you do a good observation, there is no guarantee or possibility of you hitting the pot based on your observation neither can you even think of using strategy to play lottery and slot games.
Anyone thinking of applying skills to slot and lottery is wasting their time because it is not feasible for them as it is solely a luck-based activities and all these while, what I have noticed about the winners of these lotteries is that the middle class or poor gamblers are the ones who mostly win the lottery as I have not really seen any rich and well to do person win it or is there any record of such?

I have never accepted from day one that gambling is a skill, maybe for others but it doesn't just work for me that's why I just do regular betting. Like this coupe that happened in 2018, they didn't have any tactics in fact it was there differences that made them to win that money. If they have won that money with strategy, they can't even repeat it again, that's how lottery work but with bet that involve regular risk and you can repeat that risk and win again.

I'm more interested in how the couples are going to spend the money. If I'm the one that win that money, no part of that money will be going back to gambling again. I will use that to,invest into other things and use some for other basic things I need. Will never upgrade my life to a level that I can't maintain. These is one of the common mistake many gamblers make when they make money from casino. The unfortunate ones waste all the money back there into gambling.

It’s just a coincidence. At some point, if his wife hadn’t rejected the juice, he wouldn’t have gotten a refund. Now, at another point as well, even if he got the refund but didn’t buy a lottery ticket, there wouldn’t be any jackpot. So for me, I think they both contributed to this luck, coincidence or not. Well, in every lucky or unlucky situation we get, we always think about “what if.” At the end of the day, we were just lucky or unlucky at that time, that’s it.

His wife didn't really make him win the game because she's not the one responsible for his winning the fact is that he got lucky but his wife played a huge role in making it possible for him to win the lottery. you don't get to see people winning such amounts regularly in gambling.  saying that his wife made him win the lottery is inaccurate because it is just a coincidence that he was able to win. Gambling is a game of luck and timing, and at anytime you can get lucky. one question i ask myself is what if his wife didn't give the refund back to him? that means he would have lost the opportunity to win such a huge amount of money. Are there other sources to verify this tweet? I didn't see a reference to any news outlet on X. We all know the probability of this is really low, so what a coincidence.

You may not see any proof again since it from X, sometimes gambling influencers use this kind of information to challenge or trigger and boost the confidence of gamblers...
