I believe it is for reasons like this that Satoshi decided to be anonymous. There will be too much scrutiny, and people will dig out every skeleton in his cupboard just to discredit him and his work.
There have been many great inventors who were horrible people.
I don't think people think about the fact that Henry Ford was an antisemite when they want to purchase a Ford vehicle.
J. Marion Sims was a slaver who used black women as lab rats without anaesthesia because "they didn't need it", but he was the inventor of the viginal speculum that is still used in the treatment of women today.
There are many more inventors or people who made very significant additions to different fields who were horrible humans, but that doesn't mean their inventions are worthless.

Even the great Albert Einstein was a terrible husband. He was a constant cheat and married his cousin after cheating with her on several occasions. He always dismissed his wife's scientific role, even though she was highly intelligent and studied with him.

The idea we have in our head that every great person is a good person is very flawed. As long as they have great inventions, let them stand trial for their wrongdoings, but their inventions have nothing to do with it.
If Satoshi were Epstein, I would still hold Bitcoin. I will not idolise him, but I will still use Bitcoin.

Depends what kind of trader you are, if you are into long term holding of the bitcoin for the next coming cycles, I guess nothing to worry about holding the coins but if you are kind of swing and scalper trader for sure you will grab each market volatility so holding is not much necessary because earn through flipping of coins every time we saw an opportunity with the market price action.

Also tons of speculation created about Satoshi Nakamoto so if you think he is Satoshi its your belief as long as there's no proven that he's the owner of the wallet I guess we have different perspective on that part.

You see how ridiculous that sounds. There are certain creations that transcends far beyond their creator or founder. So much so that you can hate the founder or creator, but you love and appreciate what they made, especially when their creation is not directly linked with whatever offence they are accused of.

We shouldn't try to find the black swan in such a situation, with a creation such as BTC.. We will probably never be 100% who is Satoshi, but no matter what, BTC is still BTC, and it won't change from the fact we would get that info.

Assuming your suspicions are correct, I don't think it is a problem. Bitcoin is still worth holding, because it can belong to anyone, not just one entity. By the way, I don't think any speculation about Satoshi Nakamoto's identity will be proven in the long run, as there is no valid evidence, which is why some people suspected of being Satoshi don't become facts. So, whatever the story, holding Bitcoin remains an option.

There may be a try from some entities to push a narrative, but ultimately, I do think we would never get a clear answer to who Satoshi is.

I believe the idea of OP is having us to perform this mental exercise in order to know how much we are into Bitcoin and how the identity of Satoshi could influence on the way we see his project. It is a valid mental exercise/imagination exercise, but it is quite pointless in the end, as Epstein did not have anything to do with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general.
I have seen these imagination exercises before, where people mention the possibility of Satoshis being a CIA agent, a neo-nazi, a communist or even a criminal; it is about knowing how many people would stop using Bitcoin because of the personal ideas of its creator, nothing more.

In the end his argument is just an empty shell that cannot be proven at any time and satoshi remains satoshi where a mysterious figure that we may never be able to know or identify at any time.

As for Epstein, he is now at peace and I don't think we need to bash someone who is at peace because it's not really ethical because they won't be able to prove anything regardless of right or wrong.

What is certain now is that satoshi remains anonymous and even though many arguments will later show or validate that as long as he doesn't even do anything including the address signature that he has then it is certain that most of us will not believe it because faketoshi may be rampant but satoshi will still be unverifiable.

Maybe. Because one of the strengths of bitcoin and reasons i am holding, is that no onw knows who Satoshi is.

If identity of Satoshi got revealed, this all would change to some speculative cult around this person, looking up everything they have done and meant by it.

Other reason i am holding is because of the code, but code has way more strength and independence when there's no leader to bow.

But let's not pretend we stop using products because we know that developer or CEO was a horrible human being. That's happening all the time.

Does it matter who the creator of Bitcoin is? What matters most is what Bitcoin represents today. Bitcoin is decentralized and doesn't need any single entity to determine its fate. Bitcoin has grown so big now that the focus is no longer on its creator. I will keep hodling bitcoins except Bitcoin one day mysteriously becomes centralized.

The point of bitcoin is it is independent of any entity or individual even Satoshi. There would probably be rumors of Satoshi somehow making bitcoin for distributing activities but it doesn’t really reflect bitcoin’s use and value today since as said bitcoin is an independent currency not tied to anything nor anyone.

It wouldn't take much to disprove your assumption, just keep an eye on his wallet. Because if Satoshi Nakamoto comes back, he might be looking at his wallet. If someone tries to identify themselves as Satoshi, they'll want proof of access to his wallet. It's hard for a person to leave such a large fortune behind and leave it unclaimed.

Let's say Satoshi sold his all holdings. Dumped all the BTC he has , so the valuation of his holding is $130B which is 5% of the total MarketCap. Market can crash but ain't gonna end forever. It will rebuild again from scratch.

Unless there is any other technology that can replace Bitcoin truly , it ain't losing the value.

Totally right, assuming Satoshi identity is even know, i don't think there will any hope or future for Bitcoin, which is why its even better as his identity remains unknown for our own benefits, even though the government tries their best to get rid of Bitcoin, which they never succeed.
That is why, Bitcoin will always remain the best and investing in it, its right choice for one to make but people should not ignore to make the necessary arrangement, so as to avoid any mistakes that will cause them damage in their lives.

What difference would it make if Bitcoin holders eventually funds out that Epstein is the famous Satoshi Nakamoto that no one knows nothing about.

As an individual who have been holding bitcoin none of this things really moves me about knowing the identity of the so called Satoshi, well we might also think that right now that bitcoin have grown to the level that it’s now bigger than Satoshi itself.

How many people have speculated that Satoshi Nakamoto is this or that. But to date nothing has been confirmed and we all know it's a lie. If I'm not mistaken a documentary film has even been made but it's still not Satoshi Nakamoto.

To prove whether Satoshi Nakamoto is real or not is actually easy. Satoshi Nakamoto has Bitcoin in a wallet that hasn't moved a bit. So to prove whether he's Satoshi or not simply visit the wallet and make the asset move. If it doesn't it's not Satoshi Nakamoto. It's that simple, really.

So stop speculating that Epstein is Satoshi Nakamoto. Even if someone else claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto in the future it's a lie. Even if Satoshi were to appear again I think he would make an announcement on this forum first rather than anywhere else because all his ideas all started from here.

How I will feel will depend on how the entire community will react and also how Bitcoin will react. If this is reality, it might not be the beginning for bitcoin's end but it could shake the market due to fear, perhaps the crypto market is also affected by human emotions such as fear causing so many people to sell and price starts falling  that's what will happen, if I can stop myself from selling, then I will hold to see the worst out of the market but if I can't hold, I will sell. As such reality starts to unfold, that's what will determine if people will continue to hold or not.
