I would say - he's very lucky to be alive if this was really his car. He needs to be more careful now in hiring drivers. Ego will always be there when it comes to driving, however, you need to think of your safety first and not the ego per se.

This is really saddening. He came back to visit family and was unfortunately involved in a car accident. What's more saddening is that two people lost their lives in the accident. Road accidents are quite common majorly due to bad roads. But in this case, it would seem the driver of the car that Anthony was in was primarily at fault here. Going at high speed and perhaps, wrongly overtaking only to end up running into a stationary lorry. Looking at the photo of the car involved in the accident, Anthony was lucky to have come out of that alive.

I thought as much, we should never understand estimate the snare of enemies and wicked people, the enemies always look for a small loop to target and execute their plans on us. This news really got to me because this festive period is not even supposed to bring this kind of bad news. Truck drivers packing carelessly in the highway without road signs, that's really wrong. It would have been better that nobody died in this accident but sadly two people lost their lives. Hoping that the families of those that have lost their lives have the strength to bear this great losses. I also wish Anthony Joshua and others who have sustained injury quick recovery. I honestly can't explain how I'm feeling after reading this news on the internet. What an unforgettable experience! Will Anthony Joshua ever visit Nigeria again? It would hurt so bad knowing that the two foreign nationals who lost their lives journeyed all the way to Nigeria just because of him, probably to have a feel of the trending detty december celebrations being held in Nigeria. I'm a Nigerian and one of the major challenge in Nigerian road transportation system is that the government is not paying attention to speed limit and control. Although it is inevitable for road accident not to occur but the rate is on the high side. Last time it was news of Dangote truck crushing vehicles and passenger due to reckless driving by the drivers and now this.

Traffic signs for speed limits are already in place along express ways in Nigeria but there is no proper enforcement by the government agencies to guarantee drivers do not violate these limits. The government should consider paying more attention in this regard.
I deeply sympathise with the deceased and I also wish AJ quick recovery.

The United Kingdom has many traffic rules but road accidents are very common. It is good for drivers to also bet very careful because the government can not do everything.

You have already said it all that accidents do happens everywhere and anywhere around the world and that's true. But I don't really think it's any enemy that's planning his death. This is just an accident and people should take it that way. There's no need of pointing fingers at some unknown enemies or trying to push any other narratives from what happened. Yes, two people died so it was very luck for him to come out alive. He was fightning Jake Paul just recently and now almost died in a very bad way, I can't think what is crossing his mind now that two of his friends died and he was the only survivor. I saw that many people get PTSD after they survive and close ones don't.

It’s unfortunate that two people died in the car accident, and from what I heard those two people that died are his friends, they decided to follow him to celebrate Xmas with him in Nigeria, and unfortunately they died in an car accident today. From the video that I saw, Anthony Joshua was seating at the back seat of the car which I will say that’s the reason why his injury wasn’t so much. According to the report which I heard, the federal road safety corps blamed the driver for the accident. They accused him of over speeding and reckless overtake.

We are in festive period, when we are driving, we shouldn’t be carried away by the celebration, if we are driving we should know that we are not the only one making use of the road, there are other people also, we should always be cautious, always maintain speed limit. It’s  a festive period, you going to see some drivers being drunk and they still going to be driving, we should avoid that. Looks like an SUV, so a spacious car. Yes, the front is crashed, but maybe he was in the back. That part looks intact and you can see the front disappeared, which means it took the force of the impact, which is what cars are designed to do. Unfortunately other people who drove with him weren't as lucky, but modern cars are designed to protect you from an 80km/h impact, not 150...
Maybe he should start playing the lottery with the luck he's got.
I couldn't see any information as to who was at fault here. I hope that whoever drove Joshua's car did not cause all of this.

I was in my bank trying to do some transfer when I heard about the news, someone beside me was telling his friend about the News and quickly I went online and saw it was true, it is so painful that two people lost their life in that accident, I'm not happy but thank God a least someone survived it would have been more painful if they all dead. I don't know man, the news says they hit in a truck that was stationary. And it says the Lexus Jeep was travelling beyond the legally prescribed speed limit and lost control during an overtaking manoeuvre on the truck by the side of the road.

They tried to overtake and it was too fast, so it was their fault in this case. But at least I don't think he was speeding for the adrenaline like many people do with super cars and then hit a truck that could not see him coming.

I didn’t even realize his coach came with him and sure I know his friend who died will be missed but his coach is more traumatic than any other thing but as long as he survives like he is did now, things are going to be fine, his injury is minor according to the report yet it’s not a conclusion that his not more hurt, but for his career it doesn’t go down like that, we’ve seen more bad injuries on sport men and women yet they are still around, hope such for Joshua but losing the two people he lost is really something that will hurt forever.

After the win against Jake Paul, Joshua loves to celebrate with his Nigerian roots that is why he came back but with the accident the call of duty co founder had I think everyone should be careful.
I initially read that there was no casualties just a damaged car and injures but now I read again that two people passed away.
The lack of immediate ambulance service to take those involved in the accident may have caused the two causalities.

BBC has confirmed the people that were killed, they are Sina Ghami and Latif "Latz" Ayodele, his promoter Matchroom Boxing has confirmed.

Early this evening I watched a short viral video about this accident but thanks to God he is alive. To two souls that have been lost due to this fatal accident may their soul rest in peace. The fact that no one plan for a day like this but to our greatest surprise we would have lost our great boxer, Lord thank you for taking control.

I feel so bad for Joshua gets this incident just after he won big bag of money. I saw his mimick from the picture after the crash and he seems feel so hurt especially on his legs, though it's minor injury. RIP for two guys who deceased in this incident, and it seems those are his english friends.

They crashed into a stationary lorry, that sight of spoilt lorry parking along the road is common in Nigeria, the truck carrying tomatoes probably had some fault and was parked along the road,  the SUV they were traveling with crashed into the stationary lorry while overspeeding as was confirmed by the road safety authority. The crash was caused both by the parked faulty lorry and their overspeeding by the car carrying Joshua and his friends. It's very sad event though. RIP to his dead friends and speedy recovery to him.

What a tragic turn of event for AJ, I believe he probably come to Nigeria to reunite with his root and also to celebrate the Christmas here in Nigeria, little did he know that things will go this way. Looking at the images and photos of the car crash, it’s such a ghastly accident and Anthony himself is really lucky to survive the accident. Condolences to the families of the other two victims who lost their lives in the auto accident, and To Anthony Joshua May God grant him the strength to overcome this challenge in this trying time, quick recovery to him.
