The feeling of the end of the year and gambling

My peace of mind was more important to me at this day over every other thing. I could definitely place a bet some other day, but not on the end of the year.

This happens when a person fails to see the true purpose of gambling and ends up viewing it as a source of income, where losing causes great sadness and disappointment. As a self-defense mechanism, they decide not to gamble on the day they intend to have fun. But if a person viewed gambling purely as a form of entertainment, then they could gamble even at the end of the year and have a lot of fun. Few people are able to see gambling as a form of entertainment.

In my opinion, I gamble most of the times for the profits because I may not have enough to gamble for fun so I cannot take chances on betting on possibilities that could be unimaginable.

This is a path that leads to ruin in most cases; the person loses control, loses all their possessions, loses their family, and loses good mental health by becoming addicted to gambling. Rethink your perspective on gambling.

I just managed to celebrate the new year with a win, honestly it was very fun, at first yes I also didn't have money to play but coincidentally there was a friend of mine who managed to get a win on the type of slot game and he gave a small portion of his winnings to me for my capital to play.
The amount is only $3 but unexpectedly I managed to get a win of about $50 in a short time in the type of slot game, wow this is very fun , I immediately withdraw it and plan to use the money to go on vacation with my partner.

You are not far from the truth and this is really an important reminder to us all to start this 2026 year with self honesty instead of pretending. If gambling is causing you anxiety, stress and constant worries then you should consider probably of stopping because that is a pure sign that it is doing more harm than good it should do and when you decide to stop at that moment, it becomes a thing of self awareness and not as many people would see it as failure.

How this new year of 2026 will end does not largely matter to anyone of us now, what should matter the most is how you start making changes to improve yourself today, because your today will definitely influence your tomorrow and future. We should all stop this mentality of turning gambling into a source of income because it will only lead us to more frustration than anything else you might have in mind.
