Can't really predict the price of Bitcoin in this year but I think it can be the year of maximum bear market,  the price of Bitcoin might go very low than what it was in the previous year. In the previous Bitcoin price drop but it seems we haven't enter the bear market well .

This year im not expecting Bitcoin price to increase like last year, and since their was a good increase in the price of Bitcoin last year ,I think this time is when the bear market will take place very well.

There are no large holders now, middle class people may not have much bitcoin and can affect the price of bitcoin as well when there is a panic, but then again the cycle may change and in the end the price of bitcoin really does not follow the 4-year cycle anymore, I also hope so that the price of bitcoin will always have a good value every year without having to worry about the bear market which is easy to predict, I think everyone is waiting and wants to see it even though I am still hesitant to enter the market and only have a few cryptos for the long term.

At the beginning of this year, there might not have been any major changes in Bitcoin price movements, at least for this month. But for the whole year, hopefully it will be a good growth. At the very least, it might reach above $100k again. I'm still not sure if Bitcoin can reach a new ATH again this year. We have to see how the market situation and the political moves of influential countries might affect the market.

I learnt that when the price drops is the one of the best times to take advantage of the market because since the market always recovers there would be profits in your portfolio if you took advantage of the market when the price dropped.  I used to have that mindset that it's good to sell when the market starts falling but I've figured that i was wrong at all after get to understand how holding Bitcoin works.

I see some points in what you've said and I think you're right cause those who sold off some portions to enjoy the holidays and festive period with their loved ones would see reason to put back money into Bitcoin and cause the market recover again. Well i also learnt that Bitcoin is unpredictable, can't really tell if it would set a new height when the market finally starts recovering but whatever it brings is always to the advantage of Bitcoin believers.

I also said under 60k, with the way bear runs work, we are going to see it go down more and more. Which is why I suggest everyone to turn their bitcoins into USDT as soon as they get it, do not wait for anything and just turn all of your bitcoin and crypto into usdt right now, that is the only way possible to move forward.

Otherwise, you are going to just watch yourself lose money over and over again and that will not be okay, you should not be doing that. If you do turn to usdt, and even fiat maybe, then you are going to watch it get lower and lower, then when it goes under 60k then you can buy it again. After you got it again, it may continue to drop a bit, but not a lot, because 50k and under is very unlikely, it will be at most 50k if you ask me.

It's playing around $87k to $90k. It's not that far to reach $100k again.

Are people or Bitcoin investors also considering those who are trying to evade tax? I mean, I was expecting a good pump before the end of the year because there might be rich people who will try to keep their assets in Bitcoin. That way, they might save some money in paying all the taxes on assets and liabilities. I don't know, I guess I am the only one thinking about that.
Because in a third-world country, which only checks the assets of an individual per year, it could happen. How I wish they would put it in Bitcoin, or it is still risky to do that kind of strategy, and stick with exchanging it to stablecoins instead.

You do not need to suggest that because some people may prefer not to sell, not everyone wants to sell during bear market. Some companies like Strategy and Metaplanet continue to buy bitcoin even when the price is falling, so will some people do.

Bitcoin price increased above $90000 on the 2nd of January which is the second day in the month of January and the second day in the year 2026. Using it to make conclusion that the price of bitcoin may not fall can be very inaccurate. Let us see what will happen this year. The reason for the price increase the Bitcoin market is seeing this year might be because the holiday is ending and businesses have stated to open. Investors have started putting theri funds in different assets. This move might be temporal, hence it is not proper to conclude that the market will hit another ATH. The market could move to any direction this year and I have positioned myself to benefit from any move.

 I'm very positive that Bitcoin would climb back to $100k this year. Although I'm not certain what events would push it but I feel that more institutions would pick interest in it and decide to invest or maybe, Trump could decide that since he made promises to make the US a Bitcoin reserve, he might follow through on his words, I dunno. All I do know is we'd not just see green, but it would surpass the $100k mark.

The economy is deteriorating and inflation is occurring in almost every country, natural disasters are happening everywhere, I speculate that economic growth in 2026 will fall even more severely, because Bitcoin is currently still being exchanged for fiat and dollars, That is the challenge and problem currently faced by Bitcoin users and investors, unless Bitcoin can be exchanged like gold, one Bitcoin is priced at $89k or $100k, that's another story.

I don't expect much from people like that, because they might not intend to invest and hold it long-term. They just want to secure their wealth. It's not certain that they will put their money into Bitcoin. 
It would be better if there is an adoption of a fairly large amount from institutions entering this year. I believe the news and its influence on the market could be quite noticeable for a price increase, even though the momentum might not last long.

If we break past the 93k resistance soon, I will consider it as a good sign and the prior dump is already over, it would seem.

In my opinion, Bitcoin will begin its journey at the beginning of this year with an upward trend, slowly but surely breaking above $90k, correcting slightly, and then rising again to pursue a price of $100k. However, my personal analysis suggests that it will be quite difficult for Bitcoin to reach its all time high, or even reach a higher price, especially this year. However, if we're talking about the future, the next cycle, it's certain that the current ATH will be surpassed, and even a price of $200k is not impossible.

While it is true that there are some who still expect a growth, I am not one of those. Just because we are bitcoin maximalists doesn't mean that we need to expect it to be higher all the time, sometimes it's lower and we have to learn to live with that.

I personally do as much as I can to get out of the crypto market right now, I already some of my bags in tokens and only hold bitcoin at the moment and I am planning on getting out of that soon as well. Not because I think "bitcoin is dying" or whatever, just it's bear time, and sell now to buy lower.

It is hard to completely predict how the price of Bitcoin this year will be, since each year is made up of Q4. Each of them(quarter of the year), Bitcoin can go green or red depending on the market sentiment of positive and negative news happening globally. Bitcoin can pump or decline heavily on that.

So, in this Q1, let me say Bitcoin will remain below the current price of $88k. By Q2, it can go red, and in Q3 and Q4 of the year, we might see price recovery

I only used three things on the picture. FVG which is around $96,000 - $98,000, Fibonacci Retracement, and some horizontal lines to determine possible resistances. I didn't include the 50 Weekly Moving Average already because, I know that will be at around $98,000 as well.

Anyway, if Bitcoin will try to go up, it must first pierce through that FVG and it will become an iFVG. Also, that FVG coincides with the 38.2 Fib Retracement so that adds a power when it comes to it being a resistance. For me, if Bitcoin goes above that FVG and stays above it for maybe weeks, we might see Bitcoin going up in the first months of the year, but if not then we might see it going down to as low as $80,000 yet again hence, the start of the TRUE bear market.

My prediction for this year? The crypto market MIGHT be bullish in the first 3 months of the year before it goes down. Of course, my predictions are always wrong.  

From the technical analysis point of view, we broke two major support levels from $124k, confirming a change in the market structure and direction, now judging base on this current trend, I'm seeing a more leg down instead of Bitcoin going higher, reason being that we supposed to have hit bear market this 2026 from the historical point of view, and if we look back into what usually happens year after the halving, but due to the changing market dynamics we got this season, it's becoming so hard to predict Bitcoin's possible trends.

Generally, I'm thinking Bitcoin will dip more and bottom out around $50k, before we begin to witness another major market recovery back up.

Some last year's population many people emphasize that the price of Bitcoin will not appreciate in 2026 but I don't believe that such speculation will you come to reality but the thing is that what that will make the price of Bitcoin to increase will it be determined from the investors right now we have seen that is such speculation of different persons last year is not really showing the way they said it, I know that it is too early to know if bitcoin will it fall or the Bitcoin will continue to rise because what I'm seeing in Bitcoin price is different thing and the price of Bitcoin have increased a little immediately we entered 2026 so I don't know if the price will keep on increasing or it will later run decreases.
