But IMHO, it's holding up remarkably well, considering the eight-week outflows from the ETF. And I've found one explanation for this resilience: Bitcoin is now mostly in the hands of those called Long-Term Holders: they currently control 83 percent of Bitcoin, an all-time high, according to onChainMind.
Basically, the situation among holders is like a party gone bad—only the most resilient ones remain, those who are confidently sitting in the kitchen.

@bubilas. Yes, it appears that Michael Sellor's dump on bitcoin and the outflows from the ETFs was not enough to create a big short occurrence on bitcoin! However, I am beginning to speculate and mention that what might cause the next big short occurrence on bitcoin and the cryptospace might be the AI bubble pop!

This is a warning sign when venture capitalist from the cryptospace begin investing money on something else because they have very bad timing and this implies that the AI stocks will dump soon!



Paradigm has raised $1.2 billion for a new venture fund focused on artificial intelligence and robotics, according to a blog post Wednesday.

The firm's third venture fund reflects growing interest in AI and defense technology, though it does not signal an exit from digital assets.

"Crypto was the first frontier for us, and it continues to be a really exciting one, but there's so much else happening right now that's pretty hard to ignore," managing partner Alana Palmedo told Bloomberg.

Paradigm has already deployed capital from the new fund into several companies, including autonomous drone delivery company Zipline International, which was valued at $7.6 billion in January, and space defense startup True Anomaly, which reached a $2.2 billion valuation in April.

Saylor shouldn't matter, he is just one dude.  I really fear for the idea of any reliance on any one person, and I think Satoshi setup that idea long ago that BTC can never really be in the orbit of a person or entity.  We are all just mortal after all and Saylor can have a car crash or plane or whatever and that's it, whatever is going on there and in Bitcoin has to be far more resilient then hopes reliant on one person, one company etc.

  For progress right now we are technically trending upwards but clearly the wider picture is far more important, wider and great inertia.   We have weekly trend and we got 200 week ascending which makes BTC long term positive.   However every time scale in between remains in flux at best, or a negative, bear market as some want to say.

  I don't really see a proper bear market for 2026 but at the same time the average over 200 days keeps falling, its not being arrested in decline and till negatives are averted we're in a fight to stay positive; hence 2026 is a battleground not a victory march.
  Its going to take longer then 5 months (year end) to turn this around, assets trillion(s) big don't double fast easily.

Right, and just like any other influencer before, specially Elon Musk then Saylor, we should move on from this guy. Yes, Saylor is the poster child for Bitcoin but it doesn't mean that everything he do or say should affect the market or as investors we should believed in him.

Just go on with our investment, if we want to invest then do it and don't wait for the market to go down even further. Or maybe Saylor is just trying to manipulate  the market and so we can take advantage of that as well and ride with him.

The issue is not Elon Musk or Saylor himself. The issue is that he holds a massive amount of Bitcoin, equivalent to around 4% of the total supply.

What people are interested in is the amount of Bitcoin that Strategy holds, not who Saylor is. That's because any buying, selling or strategic decision made by Strategy can have a significant impact on the market in the short term.

Saylor doesn't control Bitcoin, but the size of Strategy's Bitcoin holding gives him the ability to influence short term price movement. There is no denying that.

I guess you forgot to close the poll as promised. I voted for "No" and not surprised that it is the answer that is leading the vote. The market does not move in sharp reverse direction within a short period of time. One window closes before another opens, so we are expecting another ATH after halving. Although in the previous circle, it happened earlier.

The price was about $87k when this thread was created and it dragged to the 50's region and now back to the 60's. Seeing another 80 in the bear market is a miracle. This means that a new ATH this year is just impossible.

It's obvious that after the thread was created, we've seen the heart of the bear market. And with that said, we won't see any new all time high and most likely the next will come after the next halving.

But the thing is that most of us who have been in the market for so long knows that we will be in the bear market. So we started the accumulation phase once the price goes done hard. And the good thing is that we have been trending in the high $50k'ish to $65k so that is still a good entry point. We should forget about Michael for know, what we should focus is how to build our portfolio.

I'm reading lots of articles and those articles points out that we are going to go up despite of those challenges happen for this year.

It seems that sentiments change now and now they are thinking positive that Bitcoin will go up.

Well let see if there's more dump will occur, but looking how market behave this days it seems that the next trend is Bitcoin will enter on its recovery phase.

I'm reading lots of articles and those articles points out that we are going to go up despite of those challenges happen for this year.

It seems that sentiments change now and now they are thinking positive that Bitcoin will go up.

Bitcoin going up any moment is also not a bad projection, given that we saw an ATH in the last circle before halving.

This circle halving will happen in the first quarter of 2028, so seeing another ATH in the last quarter of 2027 is very possible.

Meanwhile all these projections will happen from 2027. IMO, we will not see miracles the remaining months of this year, instead we should expect some unnecessary dramas caused by the clarity and genius bills.

Bitcoin price was a little low at the beginning of this month, Bitcoin price touched $66.9k again. Bitcoin price stood tall but due to high selling pressure, it started moving downward again. It has been going on like this for two months but since this July Bitcoin price is improving a little but I guess Bitcoin price will definitely touch $70k.
Now the price has corrected slightly and touched $65k, any time Bitcoin price will rise again and will make a position above $70k. So this time is the best time to hold Bitcoin.

^  Here's the funny part tho and we've seen it happen again and again.  The minute it goes to 70k - 72k, assuming that it goes there, some of the guys who bought around that range would prolly sell if the price doesn't move above that.  And remember, we're in a bear market...  There's a thing people like to say during bear markets and that's the opposite of 'buy the dip'...  Sell the rips.
