Wtf is this price action?  Lolol.  Everybody is getting duped to go long only to be trapped a couple of days later.  And worse...  Get liquidated. 

I guess it's that kind of market action that we should be buying spot and just chill.  But I still couldn't stop myself from checking the price every few minutes.  Lol.

In the last 24 hours, it looks like it was really a trap. Every one gets liquidated, from $85k then down to $81k. So it's really hard to time the market right now, and when you think that this month might be Uptober, it might go on the oppositive direction.

Just about a week or so before the end of October, maybe some of us might he losing hope to see that $85k++ again. But who knows, as we have a saying or have when that when we predict it to go a direction, it suddenly goes opposite.

The Fidelity power law chart looks positive. It's as if the price is primed for growth, as it's already bottomed out at 60,000, which corresponds to the beginning of a potential upside. The chart also shows that this was previously one of the key triggers for growth. What else? The Z-score is around 100%, which corresponds to the accumulation zone from which parabolic growth sometimes began. For example, in 2015, 2018, and 2019. Two good signs have already formed to signal growth.

Whether it holds or not depends heavily on how the market reacts to its movements. I wasn’t in the market for long today, but while I was there, the price didn’t dip below $80,000 earlier, and now I see it’s still at $81,900.
Indeed, the price chart I’m looking at—based on 24-hour data—is in the red, with a downward trend that formed a few hours ago. Looking at the one-week data, there’s been a decline of -2.09%. In my opinion, this percentage is still relevant, and I’d consider it stable when viewed in the context of the monthly [1-month] percentage recorded.

Look, this is how the month of October went, the price of Bitcoin is not going to improve much from the upward trend. So, at the current position, the price of Bitcoin touches $82K, but it is not very stable and is heading towards $80K, so in this current position, we will see more improvement in the price of Bitcoin,
but if we take this year 2026 as a whole, then we are now in the Q4 season. However, at this end, the price of Bitcoin will definitely show a slight upward trend, but this Bitcoin investment is now a good reason to hold on and wait for the next bull market.

Mid August we entered a new range for the sideways market. It is between $75k and $85k approximately (the two white horizontal lines in the chart below). It went above it for a little while but wasn't able to gain a momentum to turn into a bigger rise so now we are coming back down to the bottom level of that range.

That $75k - $85k price seems to be the new battleground since mid august. It seems that lots of buyers tries to see if the momentum is sustainable.

But without solid support the market fells and that's actually what we are seeing nowadays.

The real interesting factor to see if we could see Bitcoin to hold at $75k if the price drop again at that range. Because if it happens maybe that's great deciding factor for possible next movement on the price of Bitcoin.

This sideways movement is gradually taking over the whole of October, while I was thinking this will be an Uptober as last year refused to up, this year's October is no different. Just that it is still holding and didn't crash totally.

I have heard of many rumours of crash, now I am confused as I don't know if after this long consolidation, whether the price will bull or crash seriously. Anyone can say?

It seems many people are longing that's why no positive movements, they should please start to short so that the market will take another dimension. November is by the corner, by now, BTC should be gearing towards 100k.

Therefore, I doubt if we would see such crash this time, though the price has started showing some sign of weakness, but it wouldn't be that huge crash you think of, I'm expecting the price to go towards $76k-$73k for a possible pullback.

If you have an account on a site that offers chart analysis, you can draw your own lines to assess current market conditions and possible future trends. The price chart is currently moving sideways, and to me, that doesn’t fit the prediction I made for my own purposes—because as long as the price remains above $80k or within the $82k–$80k range, I don’t consider that a decline in the monthly data.
Just get all your plans ready for the new year, since there are only two months left in this year. There will be surprises this year.

Throughout October the price stayed around $80K, which is good because with this level now people are feeling confident. Even though a few were expecting it to be around $76K to $71K, it never works. Now, a few days remaining in October means it's possible the stay will be around $80K. With this price, things are looking good; November could also have something good, even if I am expecting it to have a good touch above $85K.
The coming months are going to be good; chances are the price will touch a good level, and 2027 is surely going to have a good chance of touching six figures. Early analysts are already predicting it's going to be $150K in the first half of the coming year. The coming years are going to be good, with the price level staying at the price that is already mentioned, but it needs some good stability in geopolitics also.

For the calendar year, we are -7.53% in red. That's still not at all bad, considering it was meant to be a bear year. Given the not-so-great macroeconomic outlook, I'd say Bitcoin is doing surprisingly well.

The result would have been better if Saylor's Strategy had kept buying. They made 3 modest purchases this month: on the 5th, 12th, and 19th, and things got quiet after that. I believe they are not issuing new shares to raise more capital either. So probably decided to pause for now, maybe to see which direction Bitcoin will be going.

Most of this month has been BTC trading underneath a weekly moving average, its got to break out on various measures to meaningfully act positive.  As we know BTC tends to drift in circles back and forth at best, play dead then spring to life and shake all the shorters off its back in a fantastic leap upwards but there's no threat of that this month or even next month into end of this year.
  I expect a good prep, a foothold for such a leap and its not there just yet though long term BTC is good for a rise imo

In fact, the bulls need to pump the BTC price above $83.6k to close the month in the green, but I don't think that will happen in the remaining days of October.

You are right that 73K–76K is a good zone for a possible pullback, but I think we might go lower than 70K to create fear in the market and make people believe that 48K is coming. Then, we could move towards the 90K zone. I might be wrong, but I think there is a high probability of this happening. However I am completely sure about one thing they will first create fear in the market then BTC will moves towards the 90K zone.

I don't agree that we're still right in the heart of a bear market.
Personally, I think the worst that could happen in a bear market has already happened. And now, over the past few months, including October,  the market is likely either in the final stage of a bear market or has entered a transitional phase ahead of a trend reversal.

It’s not over yet. It seems traders now understand the situation. As the market has been taking a turn for the worse lately. The price of Bitcoin has dipped. Though not drastically, it's hovering between $79,000 and $81,000 over the past few days. While the average remains above $80,000. There’s still a possibility that the market could drop further. Some suggest the bottom might be around $77,000, or perhaps even lower, at $75,000. But, it seems unlikely to fall below $70,000 again. But then again, who really knows what the future holds? None of us do. Unless, of course, there are whales or market manipulators pulling the strings for their own specific agendas.

Although even if there is a slim chance, we might not predict what's going on. We can only hope that things will be better in November-December and that at least we can get over this big news and still go and end the year with a decent price of $80k to $90k range.

Yeah true...  But one good thing that came out of it is BTC didn't fall that hard which is really surprising imho.  I think if this kind of thing happened 10 years ago, we'd be seeing BTC drop by 50% and will prolly take over a year to recover. 

But it didn't so, good news...  The bottom is in and it's up only mode once everybody realizes that Binance is gonna make it.  Expecting deposits and withdrawals to be back soon.

IIRC, Bitcoin started October above $84k. That means it hasn't exactly had a good month, especially since it dipped below $80k at one point. On top of that, the macro picture is still pretty bad, and the stock market has been selling off over the past few day. So while the Binance incident may have had  a significant impact on the market's direction, you can't pin all the blame on them.

BTC gets pushed around by a bunch of different factors , and  I reckon there is not many tailwinds propping up the price right now . So let's lower our expectations  and accept reality instead of just blaming Binance.
