I don't think gambling helps improve your life. If you approach it sensibly, it's entertainment, like many other things. There's just a fine line between pleasure and addiction. It's better to choose something else.

Money, I would tell you no, because in any case, based on how much money we put in, it is actually one of the least expensive forms of entertainment. Already if you go to the cinema, you spend a lot more money, in my opinion, based on how we play.

Gambling is not like the regular games we play to have fun and see who is better at it but gambling is total different from playing ordinary games and it involves money. Going to the Cinema to watch movies is cool and understanding and a kind of fun where you watch interesting movies with friends. You are spending move to enjoy yourself when going for a recreational centre.
If you gamble and you lose money, you must have assume to have used the money to go to the Cinema but when you made profit, your thinking will be different.

You are absolutely right bud, I personally have gambled for money and I've gambled for fun too and I can tell the clear difference, it's often like someone who steps into a river, a river starts from the bank and slopes down into the shallow part of the water, and if you keep going deeper and deeper, you will soon step into the deep where the water is very cold, colder than the water on the top even in a very hot afternoon..

The deeper we dive into gambling is the colder it becomes, at a stage, nothing become fun any more, same way when we get into the deeper part of the river where our legs can no longer touch the floor, we get really serious at this point because any mistake, they person may end you drowned..

All depends on your intent towards gambling because a certain gambler would become that too serious at the time that they've been spending up tons of money or really that trying out to focus and doesnt like or want to deal up with something while they do gambling. At first I was amused reading this two lines, but the message was clearer after reading to the end. Relating to what OP wrote, I still would argue that gambling can improve life in regards to those non gamblers who are only but a staff in the gambling industries, they do the job they are hired for and the casino pay them wages or salaries which these staffs use their salaries to do better things for them self, by so doing, their life is improved, right? Or wrong?  While from your message, it's those responsible gamblers that can have better way and not get their life destroyed through gambling. Everyone must learn to be accountable for their own action and not let gambling to destroy them.
