What makes more enjoyable these days is when you are making a higher income that will make you capable of buying your needs and even your wants, simply put you are no longer facing financial issues because you are highly paid on your current job. That proves that sometimes setting aside our passion and sticking to what is more practical will lead to positive things in life.

Flexibility and open-mindedness contribute big changes in our life, and not being stuck to what you think will only fit for you.

And it will be difficult for the person to quit the job because he or she is receiving the higher salary from the organization, any job that cannot make you happy you can quit to look for the one that will make you happy because there are some job that will not pay your bills but you are productive in that organization, as long you are still under an organization that is not paying you want you want or wish from the organization, you will not be happy to display your passion or practical to take the organization to her next level because they are not doing what you are expecting which the mood of the passion will not be active on the time.

Neither passion nor practicality works, pragmatism works. There is a reality, the sooner you realize and accept that reality the better you are going to do. It is not about loving your job, it is not about working even if you dislike, there is a truth where you make the most out of your life, do not know what it is, because it is different for everyone, but if you can find that truth and focus on that, instead of grinding for no purpose or try to find what you love, then you will do a lot better for your life.

There are many reasons we give ourselves when we don't like the work we're doing, but on the other hand, I also believe we need to slowly enjoy it so as not to attack our conscience and make the situation worse.

When we're young, we have many options, and I believe we should seek out or work where we want to. Never be afraid to step out of our comfort zone, even if it feels difficult at first.

When we are not interested in our work it can damage us mentally because for something that our heart does not like we explain to our mind that this work is difficult or not made for us or we do not have the ability to do this work the solution to this is that we should adopt the work mentally and try to do it in small ways.This will keep us calm and will also make work fun, by knowing our abilities we achieve more success in life but sometimes we should give ourselves a tough time for new things.In the beginning there will be fear but that fear will also disappear.

Burnout may not alone necessarily alone come from disliking a work, it may as well come from being stuck in a work without any options of other opportunities, it can also come from being underpaid...That being said, I value passion more in whatever work I do. Passion lead to efficiency in my working habits etc, and this efficiency can even lead to even promotion and also other financial benefits that I didn't plan for....Also even if the work is temporary, I can still tolerate it and perform it well if I have the passion for it.....But if the passion isn't there, no matter how good the money is, I may or may not consider it, it a probability though...

Doing something you have no passion for can be very frustrating but survival should be a coping mechanism to keep yourself going. you might not love your job or whatever you do to put food on your table but you have to love that job so it would become easier for you to continue. another reason why you must love what you do is so that you can deliver in other words doing your job correctly

The reality of life now, we work on a job not because our passion is there, but because if we don't get a job, survival may be at risk. And with survival comes with money, the more money you are able to earn, the more you enjoy what your life has to offer.

However, I respect those who find jobs that align with their passion, but its rare to find a job that you are passionate about.  Most of the workers just settle on their job because they were paid well and get a good life, rather than settle on their passion and get paid less and struggle financially.

Actually, I think it is true with the term that money cannot buy happiness but on the other hand we can also be happy by having money especially since everything definitely requires money, I agree to say that in the end money is still in control. Even today there are still people who can be controlled by money, it proves that money does have a strong influence and can be in control. And yes in the end we better focus on ourselves by looking for what we need with one of them is money, no matter what other people say, our needs are still money.

I'm not going to justify or blame that expression because everyone has their own reasons but I personally will still make money a priority in the end so when there are some things that are felt to require a little sacrifice to get money then I will not have a problem with it.

We know that everyone's measure of happiness and practicality will be different and I think that letting passion go when working is the most important thing that we only focus on our work and not get off the path that has been set before and for the money that is suitable as a payment then I will choose that because it will be useless when I only focus on passion and according to my interests but that does not make me get money for what I do.

Of course, earning money requires sacrifice, as in working. The things we sacrifice to get money are time, energy, skills and others, and that applies to working for others or working on our own (business). I agree with what you said, basically we must be able to focus on our work so that we don't neglect the work we do because it is our responsibility. If your ultimate goal is still to earn a higher salary and become wealthy. I do not believe you would turn down that job even if you weren't truly passionate about it.

Passion is when you are willing to do something for a long time, accepting all the sacrifice, even low income, and still feel happy. But what if your goal is simply money and more money, and you are always looking for new opportunities with higher profits and income. What you are passionate about is money, not that you are pursuing your passion.

Many people are doing what they don't love and s because of they don't have alternative. How many graduate can boast they are happy about what they are doing today, many dreams have died along the way because of lack of opportunities. You see a graduate of computer science and computer engineering doing a job of promoter show and events, they might not like doing the job but because they don't have choice but to accept it like that.

For me, if my job don't stress me to the place of my health, it doesn't affect my time and my family, I will do the job if it fit within my skill, if it doesn't I will happily let it go and look for another one as soon as possible.

I agree with you on this, and this is the reality now. How many people don't enjoy their jobs but still stay? I'm sure it's a lot. You're right about that. There are really few people who can give up a stable, albeit unloved job for the sake of some of their aspirations. To do this, you need to have a lot of confidence in your rightness. Honestly, people nowadays work not because its their passion but because its a great opportunity to make money that can support oneself or one's family. Although some still work in aligned with their passion, but majority I believe the focus is where to be well-compensated regardless if they are passionate with their job or not. Most especially if you are the breadwinner in the family, you will never have the chance to choose your job but must work on what's currently available and what's making your life survived.

Your point is very realistic and its true that if become successful than we requires different factors like passion and  practicality and all factors are necessary not one. Life is flow with reality which sooner we accept it with time. For success its not necessary to love yours job and don't walk out of the world but the thing that's really matters is finding the work which is best for you. And this is different for different individuals. Many people growing there personality through getting skills and balancing income instead of chasing passion and its look difficult but if focus on realistic choices rather than passion life become easier to manage. "Can you do your best" doing something you hate? Probably not, but it's not even the point. Most jobs aren't set up for you to do your best at them anyway. They're designed for you to do just enough to not get fired while the company gets maximum value. You passion is irrelevant in that equation.

But passion doesn't pay bills all the time. It just doesn't. The market doesn't care what lights you up inside. Sometimes the thing you love has zero economic value, or worse, the thing you love has economic value but you're competing with thousands of people who also love it so wages crash.

Hate your job but you get paid, love your job but you have trouble Most people fall in the middle of the road. Tolerating work fine not great, pays okay not amazing. And they construct their actual life on that.

The cause of burnout is lack of control rather than lack of passion. If you hate your job but it's a job for the moment and you're working towards something, you'll survive. If you love your job but don't have any autonomy and are treated like garbage, you will burn out anyway.

The question should be, what provides you with sufficient resources and freedom to live in a decent manner? Start there.

Its not that we need to work because we love the type of work we have, but we need to love the work even if we disliked it because it is a necessity. This is just another form of what we have to do because when we already have a contract and cannot be released from the contract, we must inevitably try to make ourselves comfortable with the work we have because it is the only way we can continue to be in the scope of the work.

You put it quite simply and accurately.

Even what you love could bore you out you know. When you happen to do a thing way too much, even when it is your passion or something you enjoy, you could still get tired of it.

It’s always about the company, be it privately owned or you happen to be working for someone, you still get to put in your most to get money off it and be able to afford yourself a comfortable life. You living it or having a passion for it or not just wouldn’t change that.

I remember years ago reading about a survey that showed that those who had "boring" yet predictable and at least OK paying jobs had much higher happiness rates (self-reported, if I remember correctly) than those with "exciting" jobs, freelancers or business owners.
It doesn't really surprise me. For most, the key to a fulfilling life is a happy family, and if you have a family, you want to provide for them so you want a stable and predictable income, without any drama. That allows you to plan ahead, have holidays, manage time and money for activities etc.
You don't have to love your job, it's enough you don't hate it and it doesn't make you miserable. You can take it from there and build a happy life.
It's also a matter of mindset and attitude. You can spend a lifetime chasing your tail and looking for the "right job", or you can take any job and try to do it to the best of your abilities and take satisfaction from it, appreciating the benefits it gives you and the wider society.

Money and happiness are both important in one's life. And sometimes it's very difficult to have both of them at once. You must let go of one and focus only on the one that seems more important to them. A lot of people are not working hard for themselves, they are doing it for their loved ones (family). And sincerely speaking, some people will go to any lengths just to make their families happy, and they will tolerate everything for them in other to put food on the table and give their families the best survival chance. Sometimes it very difficult to find the work that you love and do with all sincerity, but if another opportunity comes the best thing is to grab it, a lot of people you are seeing working today as a salary earners, that is not what they always wish to do, but they just have to endure everything because of the responsibilities on their shoulders.

Back then i always want to working according to my passion but recently i have realize of my condition that if i am too pickie most likely i will be jobless and cannot feed my family so, that's why i will more choose to jobs with good salaries rather than working with my passion but i have my limit of work environment although the jobs give high salary but if i placed into toxic environment then i would not hesitate to quit from that job because comfortable is more important for me because in my opinion good work environment can makes me more comfortable to faces the pressure

Sometimes a person can enjoy their job when they are grateful for having a job and earning money to meet their needs, compared to others who are still looking for work and unable to earn money. So sometimes, even if the type of job a person has is not what they want, when they realize that they are still very lucky compared to others who may also want that job, motivation will come and they will enjoy their work.

However, it is indeed better if the job is based on what we enjoy. i am fortunate because I work in a field that I enjoy. So even though I sometimes intend to quit and focus more on my business, it is difficult for me to let go because I enjoy it.
