Everyone needs money, especially for daytime expenses, whether you like it or not, so most of us are forced to work even if we don't want or like the environment we are working in. That can only be changed if you have enough money to start your own business or if you have another job offer from another company that you can easily apply for if you want to leave.

It's hard to try to move to another job, especially if there's one family who relies on every money you earn and is not sure if you can get into another job immediately at when you leave your job. That's why many people just want to stay and be patient rather than look for another job.

That's true, especially for a responsible father they tend to take any job to provide for their family in order to stay alive. But a father should be able to provide for his family and those who take any job to make money are responsible fathers. But it's not wrong in my opinion to quit a job that we don't like, especially if there is nothing at all that can make us comfortable because after all we also have to pay attention to our mentality, which means that instead of being stressed, leaving it is not bad.

There are many strenuous jobs out there especially the offshore work that you need to spend several weeks on the sea doing what you are mandated to do. This job is not a kind of easy job that is why their payments are big than many bank jobs and companies  work where you resume work every morning and go back home in the afternoon or evening after work closes.

People that are working in rig, and on the ship as sailors are being paid huge salaries because their work are dangerous and very strenuous. For a whole month, you might not see land  or see people and people you will be seeing are your colleagues and the ocean wind smiling at you. At that moment anything can happen to you or the ship that are in. Dangerous jobs have bigger salaries.

We can endlessly tolerate a job that we don't like, but makes money. At least just because a person may not have any other options for existence. Moreover, most people live like this. That is why a division of activities into work and hobbies has appeared in a person's life. Only a small part of people have a job that coincides with what they love. They can be people of creative professions or scientists.

You must agree that this is unlikely for a welder, although his job can be very well-paid (as it is now in Russia). Therefore, the welder will continue to work, and he can devote his free time to his hobby. After all, the means of existence (money) are more primary for a person than spiritual satisfaction (a favorite activity).

I agree with you on this, and this is the reality now. How many people don't enjoy their jobs but still stay? I'm sure it's a lot. I don't think it's a new thing for someone to do something out of compulsion and when it comes to work then like you said they have no other choice. So they will stay until they find something better.

But it will be different if the person has a high ego, they will definitely leave whatever they don't like. Actually I want to say idealistic rather than ego, but I'm not sure there are many people like that, especially when it comes to work.

You should be calm about the job you are in, because you will definitely find happiness but you should not expect everything at once. Whoever is in the place where he is, is annoyed with that place, but you should take a good look at it, if you are not in that place then your life can become chaotic. So, being employed in the place where you are suitable is one of the ways to be lucky for you.

Yesterday I was having a conversation with a guest at my workplace and she made mention of not being happy with the job she is currently doing as the company's secretary as she expects her salary would have grown better than it is stagnant now and also expect her boss would have worked on it because it was part of the arrangement for salaries to be increased at some intervals and hers was due as of then but her boss did not consider her for such. As such she was discussing about quiting the job because her expectations have not been met. While this is not a good treatment at all and should be discouraged by all employers at all cost, we still cannot decide to leave so quickly because we expecting our happiness and success to come all at once. Many people are annoyed with their current jobs yet if they step out without thinking things can even become more worse as a result of such decisions.

Now let me ask you, what makes you happy? I doubt if it's not money.  So stick to it and set it as your top priority. Even if you don't like the job, but its what keeping yourself and your family live healthy, eventually you will start to like the job because you are left with no choice than to earn nothing and leave your family stay in hunger.

Passion alone does not guarantee survival, except if what sustain your life now is already your passion from the beginning. But in reality, working these days is mostly based on practicality. Where you think you can raise your family well, that's where you stick and focus your mind. The fact that you're well compensated, that's already a good factor to keep your current job, except if better opportunity enters that attracts both your passion and practicality in life.

That is not the case at all. My dad worked at the same job for 32 years, and for 32 years he hated his job. But after I was married and left, and they had a retirement fund, he realized financially he did not have to work, would have been better of course because he would be making some good money, but he didn't "have to", it wasn't a must anymore, he wasn't taking care of a home anymore, he had retirement pension fund to do that, it's small but enough.

So he quit his job right away and retired early age, he was only like 56 years old or something we he retired because he hated his job. Some people do it because they have to, but doesn't mean they will get to like it with time, they will just endure and leave at first chance.

it becomes unbearable at some point to continue working a job that you don't have passion for but when you are at a particular phase of life it is okay not to really have passion for what is available to you because it might not be what you want to do, sometimes it might not be in your field of study but you just do it based on the fact that you aren't opportuned to have that dream job or career. Honestly, people nowadays work not because its their passion but because its a great opportunity to make money that can support oneself or one's family. Although some still work in aligned with their passion, but majority I believe the focus is where to be well-compensated regardless if they are passionate with their job or not. Most especially if you are the breadwinner in the family, you will never have the chance to choose your job but must work on what's currently available and what's making your life survived.

This example shows that when passion is absent on any job, the person will quit it the moment he felt that he don't need it anymore.  Unlike when a person have passion for his job, he can continue working even if he is old enough for retirement.

If I don’t like the thing but it is legal and putting food on my table, I will do it and turn it into my passion. What’s the use of being passionate about something when it can’t put food on your table and pay the bills. However if that thing puts food on my table and pays the bills but is toxic and detrimental to my health, then it is not worth it. Without good health and peace of mind one’s money is useless because money can’t buy both.

What makes more enjoyable these days is when you are making a higher income that will make you capable of buying your needs and even your wants, simply put you are no longer facing financial issues because you are highly paid on your current job. That proves that sometimes setting aside our passion and sticking to what is more practical will lead to positive things in life.

Flexibility and open-mindedness contribute big changes in our life, and not being stuck to what you think will only fit for you.

this has been the trap a lot of people are into now, they don't like their jobs but they want to keep doing it because it helps them survive meanwhile if they finish for the day they get upset for the rest of the time they are not working. for me I think everyone should be happy with what they do and if you don't find happiness you should, either quit or make it happy for yourself that is find happiness in it and enjoy it! they is less job in the world if Yiu get good pay stay but make it enjoyable.

That's right. And what we must always remember is that there are many people out there who sometimes want to be in our position, which is to have enough income and work to fulfill all our desires and needs in life. don't let illusions like a job that doesn't meet our expectations make us want to give it up. Maybe I can't understand those who work at something they don't like. Because I personally like my own job. But the key is to remain grateful for what we have and what we are doing right now.

If it's something just boring and repetitive, I think you can take it as long as it's necessary without much prejudice, while working on something which turns you into a contradicting individual is much more noxious and aversive on long run, as it directly attacks your conscience in real time.

If you are on the second category, better to quit and look for something else, even if it's to earn a lower income. But if you are on the first category, try to see the bright side of your job. We have to keep in mind we don't do only what we want in this life, so it's better to working in a boring place than not working at all...

i think passion and working is in different separated room, many people think when they love something, they will never feel tired or bored, but in reality passion  can be blooming when we can be free to choose;  time, standarization and when we stop. It is contradictory with working, where there are specific target, failed consequence, rule for consistency and discipline in time and output. When passion was given by responsibility, there will be swiching mode from creativity and expression to be obligation.

Working especially for who life from daily income demanding continuity and discipline what keep it running not passion. what do you we need to do to avoid boredom (result of repetition + obligation) is constant practice to keep moving/working when boredom coming. So, for me there are 100% pleasurable / fun work. As a mature man, i understand that be mature meaning not always enjoy anything, but we can be resist with all of our might even without passion.

Yes, if it's giving me food for my table and can provide, loving it will come later on. It's the same that we don't like some people but as we come along with them at all times, we'll start to pick them up and like them. It's the same with these jobs that we hate but we'll like it later on because how we're used to it. We might just hate it by words but we can't deny the reality about it that if it's providing for us, we'll have to love it.

The reason many of us work not because we love the job we are doing, but to put food on our table and be able to Carter for other needs.
A close friend of mine works as a marketer in a big company and was do doing well, not until there was a change in administration. The new person block all the areas from where they get little  extra income they use in supporting there salary with increase in target which make the work more boring.
A lot of factors can make someone no have passion for the job him/her like pressure, time, location and amount payed affects individuals.

There are many reasons we give ourselves when we don't like the work we're doing, but on the other hand, I also believe we need to slowly enjoy it so as not to attack our conscience and make the situation worse.

Many persons in this contemporary time, professionals, experts, skilled and unskilled are engaged in jobs they're not really happy and comfortable with but due to the handsome pay that's attached and other rewards, they endure in absence of passion for the job. This is without reason to the current economic inflation which had made people choose jobs of higher pay over jobs they have passion for. Reality is that their passion wouldn't pay the bills but high paying jobs would foot it all.

I'm not going to justify or blame that expression because everyone has their own reasons but I personally will still make money a priority in the end so when there are some things that are felt to require a little sacrifice to get money then I will not have a problem with it.

We know that everyone's measure of happiness and practicality will be different and I think that letting passion go when working is the most important thing that we only focus on our work and not get off the path that has been set before and for the money that is suitable as a payment then I will choose that because it will be useless when I only focus on passion and according to my interests but that does not make me get money for what I do.

actually life can be easy when you are enjoying what you are doing. if you love what you doing, you might be tempted to continue doing it regardless of the challenges you are facing. for me if i am working in a place i enjoy what i am doing, i might just decide to be patient till i get a better place. sometimes if i see that i am achieving a lot from that job compared to my previous jobs, i will manage it if i succeed, except the attack i receive is unbearable before i will decide to quit.

yeah that's it, there is a slogan in my country that says you can be a fool in what you do just to succeed. anyone that want to succeed in life must be willing to be patient and endure whatever life offers them, an impatient person always end up not succeeding. the vast majority of people that succeeded in life was because of patient. an unwilling and undetermined person can not succeed. so anyone succeeding by getting well paid regardless of the challenges they face can decide can decide to stick and pretend as if nothing is happening, but if the person can not endure it, then they should kiss goodbye from it.
