 A weak person simply cannot control themselves and becomes a victim of either manipulation or processes where, as they believe, joy and happiness await them, and all this quickly and easily.

People get addicted for many reasons and I have come to understand that some people get addicted without even knowing it. They only realize how deeply they have been enmeshed in gambling addiction when they have lost a lot of money already and probably in heavy debt. Consistent gambling or gambling as a source of income does not directly lead to addiction, it is how you approach gambling, the mindset that will get you addicted to gambling.

You are absolutely correct and they are the ones putting themselves in those unnecessary pressure why will someone want to multiply his or her money through gambling that they know it is very risky and the chance of winning is small and not certain. Is simple . Getting addicted to gambling is very simple and easy , but is hard to get out of it . What literally lead to it you have mentioned it already.

In my view, becoming addictive to gambling often times is as a result of lack of understanding. The understanding of the workings of anything gives you leverage for better profiting. and not to  become a snare to ones living.

Shying away from other responsibilities and not making gambling a major part of your extracurricular activities you engage on cannot make you addicted to gambling because of that. There must be some kind of intuition and satisfaction you’ve derived from there that makes you go back to wanna try it out again. And once you’re winning and not keeping a watch on your activities on it, you’ll most likely get addicted thinking that you’re just happy with what you love doing the most.
