People like you who talk about quitting gambling once they make some huge amount of money in millions, they are actually the most people who do gamble for the pleasurable sake of it and not after the money as some other person are doing. Gambling when it's your leisure time and with insignificant amount of funds that you deliberately mapped out of your pocket for gambling, such you can't count as a waste of time and funds when you're getting the vibe as you have anticipated.

You are correct in that the last step in quitting such risky endeavours should be to aim to win a lot. We must have within us a good exit strategy so as not to live one happy day after another day wishing and wanting. But for many of us, myself included, life would become a bit less interesting and so a question arises, should we really do that? Should we make our life, even though just a little bit, but less entertaining? It's like drinking coffee 3 times per week. Can we live without it? Absolutely. But should we? That's the question.

We must realize that there are many other things that are more enjoyable than gambling, even if they do not offer the chance to make a profit. Making gambling a hobby is actually not a good idea, so it is better to find something else to do as a hobby. Even gambling won't put you in a tight corner if you do it in moderation. Gambling isn't bad if it's not treated in the wrong way. If you get into gambling with the aim or hope that you are going to come out as wealthy by winning a lot of money then your mindset about gambling is wrong, and that mindset is the reason why it might put you in a tight spot, because when you have such expectations, you will always try to make money from gambling, and when you lose, you try to recover your losses, and when you fail in that, you make more deposits and try again, and slowly, you will lose a lot of money without even realizing it.

Someone who considers gambling as a way of having some fun while trying their luck will never face financial problems because of gambling because they will always gamble only with amounts that they can afford to lose, and when they lose that amount, they stop right there until the next time, and now that they don't chase their losses, they won't be making more deposits after losing the first one.

It's definitely impossible to switch to anything. That's a utopia. But swapping gambling for a favorite hobby is a perfectly normal scenario. I've been through this myself. I can't say it was easy, but I managed to refocus my attention on another activity that also brings me pleasure. It also distracts me from dwelling on the games that constantly swirl in my mind. This is a recommendation even recommended by psychiatrists. It's an important component in rehabilitation centers.

It's easy for me to quit gambling forever, so I would choose the new job that will be given to me in exchange for not gambling at all forever. I just see gambling as a form of entertainment and if there's a chance that I will be quitting it forever, I can just find another way to be entertained like playing online games, playing ball games, and many more. Mindset is the should be the key in gambling. When someone think gambling as a guaranteed way of money that may lead to financial trouble. Gambler become a addicted after they make some money from gambling, they keep thinking of it as a source of earning money that's the biggest mistake. I think the best way is to strictly control ourself if someone actually want to temple it should be to get intertainment not to profit. You should set a limited amount that you could loose if you lose it you will not get frustrated for losing it that way you can enjoy it

Well, gambling is essentially an entertainment establishment for specific gamblers, and others perceive it as a profession. Meanwhile, it's just a hobby for others. But when someone
cannot control their gambling habits, it may become an addiction ultimately, which could lead to complications in different aspects of their lives.

I gamble for fun and profit. If it were true that gambling could never be won, I would not gamble. But that does not mean that it can never be ruled out. If someone offers me a chance to win the jackpot, I can easily say no to gambling. This is very true, the more time we spend on gambling, the more we are likely to lose control and become addicted. When we are in it continuously, our ability to make realistic decisions decreases, as a result, at some point our decisions may be directed in the wrong direction, as a result, the tendency to bet more increases, and from there, excessive spending begins. So, when it comes to luck, it is imperative to maintain our control, without awareness and limitations, it can be very dangerous, we may not understand it now, but when we have already lost very big due to it, then we will realize it, but that time there will be no option but to get everything back.
