I think that the majority and everyone here just did the same mistake as you. Didn't buy when it was too cheap because many were skeptical of how few adopters were. And as well as selling too early when the market was uncertain and people have said a lot of negative things about it. While the others, they're believers but have to sell because of their financial problem that they need to attend to and their one solution, to sell the Bitcoins that they're holding. Different scenarios and needs but ended up with the same mistakes.

This was really a big mistake of yours if you had bought it you would not have saved it because you did not know that if you should be patient in Bitcoin and do not sell Bitcoin on any big dump. If you wanted to take profit in Bitcoin then why did you do this if you needed money then you should have invested in it after thinking about it. If I were in your place I would probably not have done this and kept Bitcoin with you. You still have a chance to buy Bitcoin now and in some time you will also make a profit so if you know Bitcoin then you know that it will give you profit even if it is expensive but you have to be very patient this time for it after which you will also get profit also besides that the market conditions are not good at the moment so think carefully and get involved in it.

Most times I keep on wondering how come I was so bent on my job then that I couldn't even hold on properly and strongly to the one in a lifetime opportunity that could have turned so many things around because during that time, the rewards per game round was huge due to the DIP unlike now that the rewards are little. The past year altcoins was booming and people were investing in altcoins because of the way the price was having huge buyers and many altcoins were coming onboard while some were busy scamming their  communities and rug pulling projects that were thought to be successful.

Bitcoin remains the only project we can invest in if we want to have a full relaxation on our investments not getting scared that the price might shut down and everything will vanish. Bitcoin remains the only assured long term investment people can buy and hold for many years depending on how long they want to hold it.

Bitcoin is always a long-term asset. The longer you can hold Bitcoin, the more profitable you can be. You have to wait at least one cycle to profit from Bitcoin. My biggest mistake was buy Bitcoin with a short-term plan in the beginning, but when I gradually gained proper knowledge about Bitcoin, I realized that buy Bitcoin with a short-term plan can never be successful, as the risk of losing money increases manifold. Bitcoin is a long-term investment, another thing I realized is confidence. If we hold Bitcoin with confidence, then we can definitely expect good results in the future.

Now I buy Bitcoin consistently with a long-term plan and hold it with confidence. I did not make a mistake even though I only bought bitcoin in 2020 / 2021 early late because for me it is never too late to make us in bitcoin because I was lucky because I could still be given the opportunity to buy that time.

Most newbies made similar mistake which you made, most newbies were just scared about bitcoin, and whenever they buy, after making some profits they going to sell it back, and will be waiting for market to retrace so that they going to enter again. I know people do make money from trading, and I also do but I feel investing is more profitable, and less risky if you are holding for long.

The mistake I made when I started trading was trading futures, I was thinking i will be able to make quick money, instead I lost even the little amount I had with me which I was trading with. Why regret buying Bitcoin late when I don't even know about it then? I'm one of the people that had access to desktop for studies but we were denied access to the internet. No, we don't have the means to afford internet back then because the internet was just introduced and it was for the rich homes. There is this white desktop for the family where I do play Zuma. I wish I know about Bitcoin those time but I don't regret it. The only thing I regret is selling some Bitcoin for Altcoins gains that never ended well, the experience was traumatizing but never again, I can watch altcoin do 30x and it won't move me.

Instead of regret, why not act now like we mean it. There is this trend, I don't know if I should call it jealousy or hatred or unfortunate, when Bitcoin pump to a new all time high, they feel bad that they never invested, but watch as Bitcoin plummet, they will not even look at market. They don't want Bitcoin to grow, by the time Bitcoin dump they don't buy, later they will say they regret.

Not to call it a mistake but I'm also among the ones who were late in knowing that something like Bitcoin exists. I learnt about Bitcoin back in 2016 when I joined this forum but back then I wasn't sure that it's a great asset for investors, I didn't invested in it then but surely it was a good learning point for me. I would say that now my life is way better than it used to be only thanks to Bitcoin.

TBH, I can't think of anything.

I guess I can consider this as a mistake, but I bought my own personal computer way back in 2019 using Bitcoin. The price of 1 BTC during that time is still at 4-digits (can't remember the exact price though), but the bottom line is that, if only I used cash to buy my computer and decided to hold my Bitcoins up until now, for sure my life could've changed already, and it's way better than where I am right now. Unfortunately, it wasn't, but I don't consider it as a grave mistake just like others out there who got scammed because they downloaded a fake wallet, or they fell from a scammer, etc. etc.

I don't consider "regretting not buying Bitcoin" as a mistake because at first place, I don't have spare money at that time, and another one is that, I have no knowledge on what's Bitcoin especially when I'm still a newbie. I don't have any regrets on it. I might have felt more disappointment in myself when I bought something that I don't even understand in the first place.
