If I have had a really rough day where I am down like $2k and I make a bet that wins me $1500 back, I am feeling good that I only lost $500 on the day compared to where I was. If all you do is lose then you probably need to stop gambling because you're obviously not very good at it. Better to spend your time on something that is worth your time.

When you are on a losing streak, it's better to stop gambling and call it a day because if you continue gambling chasing your losses, you might end of with an empty bankroll. Losses are inevitable, the only way to limit your losses is not to be greedy and aim big win.

If I'm on a losing streak from day to day. I go on a break for two weeks or more to shake out the bad luck.

This actually gives some relief. At least we didn’t lose everything. Saving around 75% of the losses is already fine for me. That’s impossible though. Even if you bet blindly, there will still be times you win. And honestly, if it ever reached a point where we lost all the time, that alone would probably save us from losing a lot more money. Most of us here have been gambling for years. This actually happens. You may be in a series of losses and compounded plenty of them but all of a sudden you got to win back 70-80% of the money you’ve lost which you’ll be left with 20-30% of it. In such cases, you’ll be very happy you didn’t loss much and be happy that you’ve recovered more than half of the money you’ve lost. In another case, if you’ve already gambled with money you can afford to lose, even if you loss back to back, once it’s within the money you’ve budgeted to risk, you won’t feel like you’ve lost much and won’t feel unhappy.

The only time you have edge and not against the casino but against other people is when playing games of heavy skills are involved like Texas hold em poker for example. In the long run any other game will crush your dreams, ambitions or whatever goals you may have for your gambling activity in the worst of the ways. Of course gambling isn't bad by default yet still I have not seen people to have enough courage to quit in the middle of the losing session, losing makes you mad and usually makes you take bad decisions which leads to losing everything. Playing without losses in gambling is already a good result if you play just for entertainment and do not set a goal to make money. Even if you do set a goal to earn from gambling, but you manage to play without losing money and without big losses, that is still a good outcome. But if your goal is to make money in gambling and at the same time you are taking losses, then what difference does your goal make if you cannot even play without losses? So it turns out that the main thing is not your goal, but how good a player you actually are and what you are really capable of achieving in gambling.

It depends on your aim, since if it happens that even if you lose the money you put on the casino then you get your target to play long hours even if you are using small amount then that still consider as a win. Especially if you get out satisfied with everything you do on the casino when you are playing.

But if you are aiming for profitability, but result didn't came out as what you expect. For sure you get frustrated, then if this feeling occur and you get stressed or worse got pissed off then in this situation you can be called as a total loser.

That's the state I was in at the beginning of this year. Not betting much and just enjoying the time away from gambling. I'm at the point of wanting to take a break and evaluate gambling in 2025, it's tough but when you think of the winnings that have been made even though it's not huge but still we are still the losers and the casino always wins.

I was in a physical gambling spot a long time ago when someone lost a large amount. He was about to leave but decided to play his last game. He was lucky to win and recover some of the money he lost. Yes, before I don't have this kind of feeling, but I don't know if I just evolved as a gambler so that point that every win is a hard grind and you are just being thankful that there are games that you win or even break even. Worst, you say to yourself that you are done, but then the next day you will gamble again and then the cycle will repeats itself again and again.

I don't feel that stopping gambling business online, will change the fact that I have never gain from all my daily excess and constant risks believe it through one day.I have been dreaming big.
