Things are more complex than this. Even though China voices in favor of Iran, it too don't want Iran to have nuclear capabilities as it would add another nuclear nation in the region. China do benefit from the cheap oil from Iran but China is doing all it can to reduce the dependence on oil as a whole and diversifying as much it can. If there's a deal between US and Iran, China would probably lobby for independent economy of Iran which too is likely as US don't have a clear advantage yet.

Trump is scheduled to make a state visit to China from 14 to 15 this month. There are expectations that the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz will reach a solution even if the war against Iran continues.

It is true that Iran is supplying China with cheap oil due to US sanction. But you are overestimating Iran in assuming that China would be at a disadvantage if it lost its oil supply from that country.

Iran exports more than 90% of its oil to China, but that only accounts for about 10 to 12% of China's total oil import. It is clear that Iran is a country dependent on and in need of China, not the other way around.

Even if the US lifts sanction against Iran, I do not believe this will significantly harm relations between Iran and China. Iran is not naive enough to abandon its allies and side with the West simply because of sanction that it has long since ceased to care about.

Trump is seeking help, not visiting and telling China what to do and what not to do.

China is taking over the world stage without any military actions. All good students on  history will bear me witness that, power has always been taken over by force and military might in the past all global powers has been taken over by military actions. But China the second largest economy in the world and the most populated country in the world is taken over power in the world stage subtly as they continue to expand their interest in all continent without firing a single shot.

How has China been able to do this.

China has been able to successfully lay grib on the rest of the world by  investing in infrastructure and what China terms as strategic investments. Digital networking, investing in infrastructure such as Rail way, power stations, building of hospital and schools, and finally systems. Another thing to consider too is investments in
the world Rare earth minerals and natural resources this is the new world order and China is leading on this areas no wonder more countries are aligning with china. While the West and American is concerned more about using force and military actions to enforce their will on others country just as we are experiencing in the world  today. China is busy expanding more influence on the rest of the world. This is going to count moving forward.

China started their economic expansion by being the factory of the world, which it achieved most successfully through opening up and following a "lite" version of capitalism. That has continued through to the current day, however Xi Jinping has gotten a lot more restrictive and moved the country back to a cult of personality in some ways with an immovable leader. He is reasonably sharp right now, but the thing that makes the most successful countries is often a changing of ideas and renewal of leadership. The longer he holds on to power, which it looks like he has no intention to ever relinquish, the more broken the country will become. It still has a lot of momentum and it is pioneering in many fields, but let's hope that it flips back to a progressive government again at some point in future.

I totally agree that China, has become the factory of the world and it is evident that their products are in demand everywhere, I used to think that their infrastructural dominance was only present in Africa, then I began to see that their products and influences are felt worldwide. It is true that China, don't need to have a military base in your country for you to see how they are influencing modern lifestyles especially in Africa, from construction to electrical appliances to fashion and accessories you are staring at them everyday in your house and on the streets through their products.

I know that China, cannot be described as a democratic country but I bet you that they are far better than many so-called democracies where they rig elections for criminals to remain in power and they fix their fellow criminals into power when the seat becomes too hot for them. I will rather have China with all it's restrictions than many fake democracies in unproductive countries.

Chinese is growing faster in their quick enovations, but no matter how faster is their economy situation they' can't be given the word power , everyone knows that is what Chinese are really working hard to get, but never take the silent of America for a joke
America scientists is the wisest scientist in the whole wide world, but if Chinese are doing minor things it shouldn't push you to say they can still beat Americans in years to come.
You ask a question why and how they could be able to get to this extent, is unity that brought Chinese together peace and unity , back then in the year 2000 Chinese economy situation was drastically deminshing before their president has to think forward before you see Chinese becomes very strong today, everyone in Chinese is resourceful, doing things for the government and the government will also bring good subjections to their field and also support with huge amount of money, this is how they manage and get to this extent.
So don't be surprised how they did it, everything is peace and unity, peace and unity is what every nation wants .

The concept of power has also changed in the current world. Now power does not only mean the strength of the military, but also technology, supply chain, economy, data, AI, energy and diplomacy, all of which determine the superpower. China has been able to increase its influence without war mainly through trade, infrastructure investment and technological expansion. And the more economically developed a country is, the more powerful it is.

However, this power did not come just with “peace and unity”, but in reality, China’s rise is the result of many strategic decisions. And since this decision, China has gradually adopted a market-based economy. They brought in foreign investment, built a huge manufacturing sector, and became the factory of the world by using cheap labor. That is why many of the components needed by America’s Apple are available in Chinese factories.
