Nope, it was over 5, can share TXID if it's of any relevance. There was no block for like 30 mins or so though.

I confirm that ETH arrived, I instantly did a reverse swap (back to BTC) and that one was completed quickly and without issues.

I believe that might happened due to absence of a block for such long duration but what @examplens said about Ethereum chain halt might be another reason why it took so long time for completion of the swap. At least,the ETH arrived, and it's good to hear that reverse swapping didn't take much time and was done quickly. I believe the issue might not be b1exch's end but it most likely happened due to Bitcoin block delay or Ethereum blockchain halting.

This is the 1st screenshot, showing that the deposit was received - even though the block hasn't been mined yet.



Shortly after, still without a block, it was changed to this:



I have no idea where the amount came from, and as you can see the total amount in the same ID transaction was changed from 3 mBTC to 0.3 mBTC (site minimum), asking me to deposit the difference up to a new amount (lower) and not the originally requested one.

I think the case needs further investigation by the team but then again - both my swaps ended successfully. It was just a bit confusing.

Wonderful events, which also has a good prize pool. But since the deadline for predicting the price of bitcoin is set before February 25, 2025, I think that most of the participants will make their forecast closer to this date, because it will be much easier to predict the price of BTC 2 days before the event than 2 weeks before it.

It's the opposite on me ETH - BTC. ETH was confirmed but BTC didn't come and when the order expired and I've refunded to my ETH address, it came instantly refunded. Maybe there's a problem with the eth/btc pair that they're experiencing.

Both transactions with delay are tied to the Ethereum network. Did you check and see if it is possible that at the time of order creation, Eth chain is halted?

IIRC, there's no message about the halting of the ETH chain during that time. Because if there is, I wouldn't proceed to exchange the ETH/BTC pair.

There have been examples here where the reputation was falling even for much less than $125. Those who hold on to their reputation will certainly not abuse it, but we have seen so many cases of manipulation, so everything should be taken into account.

In addition to the fact that most people wait to give a late prediction, leaving a review on Monerica requires additional steps, which is a special challenge. Plus, for safer review approval, an order ID is required, which is an additional "complicating" factor for participating in the contest. So, I am not surprised if there are not too many predictors who will use all three options.

The main difficulty lies in the fact that a comment left after the announcement of the competition will not entitle you to an additional lot. Icopress writes about this, commenting on the rules: "If you previously (before the launch contest) left a comment on one of the mentioned platforms..." The Bitcoin Price Prediction contest was published on February 12, and only 3 comments were posted on Monerica before that date.

In addition, the organizers of the contest have made an addition to the rules, according to which it is necessary to confirm the additional lot with a screenshot of the comment if it turns out to be a winning one.

You can wait until @OP @b1ack got online or received a notification from this reply/mention if he is using the forum notify feature via email or the tg notification bot. If not for both, you will need more time, at least 1-3 days before s/he reply, so better track/visit this thread for update.

There was a node issue that caused the system to fail to detect your deposit properly.
This has been fixed and compensated with +$15.
What happened: • The automated system missed your deposit • We detected it manually and processed it • Added $15 compensation for the inconvenience
This happens rarely, but we're working to prevent it entirely in the future.

I prefer to post the moment someone comes to know about this, because when we delay it, we sometimes forget about it. I have done this a few times, and due to some unforeseen reason,s I always forgot to submit my entry, that's why I prefer everyone to submit their entry as soon as possible. No matter how close you predict, the chances are still high and market could turn its back on you.
