Today, I visited b1exch.to to play around with the AML check, and I noticed that the checker page is completely disconnected from the site's main purpose - crypto swaps. If I share the AML checker link with someone (which I do, because it's really well-made), the swap service gets no benefit from it. Visitors might not even realize what kind of website they are on. Aside from the short word "SWAP" in the top menu, nothing indicates that this is a swap service.
Maybe the checker feature should be placed right on the homepage, below the exchange form? That way, people sharing the checker would be spreading the link to the actual swap service, rather than just its byproduct.

Do you know when the maintenance started? Normally, whenever I come to use b1exch, it shows that maintenance is in progress. Overall, it was a good decision to display this notice on the website because anyone who comes to use the platform will understand that maintenance is ongoing. Is there any way to know when it started and when the update will be completed?

There's a notice on the website. New swaps are temporarily paused while we perform maintenance. Existing swaps are being processed first and can still be checked normally. We are aware of the recent no routes available issue with some pairs , that has been keeping our users from making big swaps. We are working on it and will update ASAP. We haven't added maintenance end dates because we believe it's best not to mislead users (in case maintenance lasts longer than planned).

I prefer the disconnect between the main purpose and Anti Money Laundering checker. The checking tool is one Privacy users should not even need any way because if you want Privacy you do not want to use centralized exchanges that check your history. Having the tool on the homepage kind of defeats its main purpose, a no Know Your Customer instant exchange that clearly puts Privacy first.

Bitcoin is useful not only for trading. You might actually buy stuff with it, or even sell to other people p2p. Let´s suppose you want to renew your domain registrar, pay server costs, pay your email or VPN... Sometimes even buy some stuff online. You might get in trouble if you send high AML coins to such services, because most of them use third party processors which will check the AML score of your coins.

It's important to check AML score of Bitcoin these days, but when it comes to paying domain registrar or server costs then I think it's better to use stable coins as you won't have any issue with stable coins. I personally pay for domain names using stable coins like USDT and USDC and I've never faced any issues. Although, one can use Bitcoin to pay for those but again I think it's better to use stable coins sometimes.

Ok, maintenance is over and b1exch is operational again. Although I cannot determine which update was made, I noticed the addition of the AlwaysWhite notification Now I'm more curious about the mechanism behind it all. Does this mean that b1exch does an AML check before sending coins to the user? Also, in order to guarantee such a claim, surely they must have a method to lower the AML score if risky coins in b1exch pools appear.

Even if you use stablecoins, it just reduces the transaction fees; stablecoins don't mean it's all fresh. Stablecoins would be dirty as well if they've come from hacking or something similar. If you use dirty funds with any service provider, your transaction will also be flagged. That means either you use Bitcoin or another coin's AML score matters. However, since b1exch gives us the opportunity to check a free AML score, we might simply check before purchasing any services from any other platforms. Also, funds come from the b1exch, which is fresh with a good AML score, so there is not much to worry about when using those funds for services.

The stable coins that I use are often low in AML because they come directly from centralized exchanges. I don't really deal with anyone or any type of P2P of stable coins aside than centralized exchanges own P2P service. But, again it's true that stable coins can also get someone in problems if they come from non-genuine services or are part of any type of scams or hacks. I believe AML checker words for both Bitcoin and rest of the coins and we should be thankful to b1exch for providing use a tool that's for free and that competes with the paid tools. I believe when it comes to Bitcoin and some alt coins then it's important to check the AML score of those coins for ones own safety. So far I'm impressed by the services of b1exch and we should be thankful to b1exch team for giving us a tool like AML score checker for free.

Before commenting, I had some difficulty finding the free AML checker tool on the site, but I finally found it, it's in the site's menu, under Tools > AML checker will pop out. I haven't tested the service yet, but I definitely shouldn't leave it out, it will be a good time to test the b1exch AML checker against paid AML checkers.
I've never heard of a free AML checker before (other than those sites that only offer the first check for free). Perhaps it would be interesting to add information to the FAQ. Congratulations on this innovation, I never imagined a exchanger would add such a feature.

No one imagined something like that but we all know that b1exch cares deeply about its users that's why it made such a useful feature free for users of the platform. I've tested the AML checker and it works pretty well, however I haven't compared it to other paid checkers but I'm pretty sure it will compete with the top paid tools that charge premium for AML checking.

Looks like you are not the only one who was affected. When I look at the pools, the 24-hour volumes for both USDC (ERC20) and USDT (ERC20) are zero, yet the reserves are there. Which suggests that the swap directions have been off for more than the 24 hours – https://b1exch.to/LiquidityIt also seems the team forgot to mark an update on the website regarding this

Actually its only few platforms offering an AML checker so besides swapping with the b1exch, you can also do a AML check before you need to pay just to have the AML checker, also the blockchair offered this too, but its more detailed with the b1exch. So, apparently, I tried this feature; it was cool already detected which platform you are most likely committing a transaction to, so far it got a low-risk score risk Looks like you are not the only one who was affected. Yes, used to check AML score of coins at Blockchair when b1exch didn't had an AML checker, but now we have another great AML checking tool that's free and one can use it as many times as one needs without paying anything. Blockchair is good for basic level AML checking but the AML score checking tool that b1exch offers is at another level. I think it's currently the best free AML checking tool available in the market and it's very good that it can compete well with the paid AML score checking tools.

I like the shining shimmering thing in the Bitcoin icon but once I tried to swap their position the design vanished.
It shows shining Bitcoin only when it is set as the receiving Cryptocurrency because of the new 'Always White' feature. You send your Monero, you receive 'shiny Bitcoin'. Which I personally really dislike. I get that they are probably looking for ways to attract even more people to b1exch but I would rather not have the concept of 'taint' around it. My Anti Money Laundering score is really bad, I would probably land in a freeze no matter which AML Third Party I would spend through but to me 1 Bitcoin will be 1 Bitcoin no matter where it comes from or where it ends up. Fungibility! The concept of 'taint' is attacking it.

As fas as I know, the tool is specifically designed to help users to screen wallet addresses so they can know if it has received funds from illicit sources or sanctioned sources and not a place to report suspicious addresses. You can check out the tool here --> https://b1exch.to/Tools/AmlChecker

You can, but the tool is simply to give risk score of the wallet address from its transactions. If the address receives from bad sources you cant do much about it. And also, i don't know if there are place or active database or list where to report wallet address used by scammers.
