How many hops are you guys using? this tool allows up to 10. How is someone responsible for the past previous 10 transactions? It's kind of crazy, you deposit money in a CEX and you are responsible for the previous transactions even tho you did nothing illegal in order to obtain it.

The hops are probably looked in to for patterns that show the person who had the last transaction is more than likely the same person who spent the Bitcoin 8 transactions ago.  I can only assume some of these tools, particularly the 'professional' ones as you call them, are looking in to as many hops as they need until the patterns do not show evident signs of the same ownership.  It would obviously be stupid to go through many hops even past the previous owner.

What remains a question is, how are such free tools obtaining data from? What databases do they use? And how many hops does CEX's use? Do they check 3, 5, 100, 1000 hops? at which point it becomes ridiculous for them to freeze funds?

Considering the accuracy of the tool offered by b1exch, or at least the accuracy guaranteed by others who have used their service, I can only assume b1exch has some intel about the way some of the best Blockchain Analysis tools function.

It would also be interesting comparing these free tools to industry standard, private AML checking tools to see their accuracy. I assume the professional AML checking tools are the most accurate as they may be working with Chainalysis and co in order to get the most up to date results, however, in order to use them you have to dox yourself. So as most people hold high risk AML coins, even tho they did nothing bad, if you hire a professional to screen your funds on such tools, what happens as you are doxed and now it's known you hold these coins? These things are important if you are trying to cash out bigger amounts, as you are going to need the best report possible, but im not sure how people deal with high risk AML coins in a situation where you are doxed and you are just trying to liquidate some funds, do things legally and go about your business. I guess it depends on how rational each jurisdiction is with these situations, but im afraid they all threat crypto users that did anything outside of your average CEX as a potential criminal trying to launder money, and so they complain when people do not want to pay taxes, well they are pushing crypto users away from doing so.

In other words.  Anti Money Laundering is useless.  Which is obvious, but almost every body who has an exchange account is going through it any way, as useless as it is.

As far AML being useless, it is what it is, I don't make the rules. If you get paid from a signature campaign, and the funds have high risk AML score for some reason, you did nothing wrong, even if you advertised a mixer back then when it was allowed, however if BTC goes to $500k and you want to buy a house with those savings, those AML scores on your funds will give you problems, so you have all this money there that is essentially useless except for saving for irrelevant small payments like buying some subscription online, but you cannot buy your real state with it, or invest in relevant things, so you need to solve the AML aspect somehow and pay attention to it even if it's not fair.

Yes, there is no other way to really find out.  No way that I know of at least.

If I have to pay for a house out of my Bitcoin, I will most definitely not make that a one time real estate purchase transaction directly using Bitcoin.  I was personally always able to avoid Anti Money Laundering by not working with Anti Money Laundering platforms in the first place.  Never did I have any of my Bitcoin stopped by a Third Party for questioning and I have no idea what 'Anti Money Laundering score' people or platforms I worked with had because I do not really care at all.

At least 2–5 attempts before I manage to get the captcha right. It is usually because of characters like "5, S, I, 1, 8, B, D, O." Whenever one or two or even several of these characters appear, it almost always ends up being a retry. It is surprisingly consistent to me. And sometimes annoying already lol

I just tried to create a swap order, and it worked without any issues.

Note that the deposit address isn't displayed there, and that's normal.
They will give you a deposit address in the next page after you click the "Confirm exchange" button.

I have visited both the Onion link and clear net link on Tor and both are working pretty fine here. I must say that the Onion link loads faster in Tor because on clear net link one has to wait for that Cloud Flare verification while at Onion link one can easily complete the verification and access the site.
