High blood pressure is a medical condition, it’s supposed to be managed with proper medication, like maintenance meds to keep it at a safe level. If that’s the concern, then the advice should be simple: take your meds as prescribed, even when you’re gambling. That alone already addresses the problem.

You need to understand that there are levels to this, according to what he said, his blood pressure is extremely high to get involved in anything that might cause even a tiny bit of stress. even if gambling can be fun for him it's still too risky to engage in until he fully recovers...with the current state of his health he needs medication and not fun or entertainment

For someone that takes gambling as a way of having fun, such health conditions have nothing to do with how well they will be and f it must even contribute it lower the blood pressure, and unless for those gambler's that put too much emotions into gambling, having high blood pressure could be dangerous if combined with gambling.

Sounds like you already know the answer to your question. Decreasing the value of your gambling budget might help, but i would seriously think why you want to gamble in the first place?

The most important thing is that you bet with money that you can be responsible for losing. You will never have a problem if you lose it, that is something you need to be aware of before gambling, I am sure this will not affect your emotions even though you have high blood pressure, I also need to make sure that whether or not you have a nature that is easily startled by sounds or something that makes your body not ready to accept pressure in a short time, if that is the case it is better not to gamble.

There are people that are like that, they're willing to leave someone who's helped them but before doing that, they'll ask them for a favor that they cannot get paid anymore.

It's sad reality that there are people with that intention when they don't have anything left with them. Just trying their luck and trying to gamble with other people's money.
