Yes, it is true, I have observed this in many cases and I have made such a complaint. I have seen many of my friends gambling with a lot of money and I would tell them that with this amount of money I would be able to spend a whole month or a week very happily. But to them this amount of money seems very small. When they gamble, there is no reality in them and when they lose, they become more aggressive. It may be because of emotions or because of their addiction. I have not been a victim of such a situation yet but I have seen how they behave and how aggressive they become.

When you use the word “yet” it means that you are willing or likely to be a victim or you want to test out how it feels one day by yourself, however, you can also mean something else but only made a mistake in your choice of word, perhaps I pray you no one becomes a victim of it, maybe they can be witness to someone who probably has experienced it. Furthermore people could be losing huge amounts of money in our reality but not in their reality which means they probably spending a very low percentage of there income on gambling such people make more money from gambling and gambles more for passion instead.

I don't completely agree with you; there are people who are gambling today and still don't have passion for gambling. They are gambling with just one goal, which is to make money from it. Even if they are not getting the desired result instantly, their reason for continuing gambling is not because of their passion for it but because they have hope they can win back what they are expecting with profit attached to it.

You can not define the way people feel about something, for example, how I feel about you can only be define by me and also expressed by me the way I want, right? If someone tells you they are betting because of passion they have for sport game or passion for their team, then it's just a fact they are telling you, which everyone doesn't have the same motivation about something, some people don't have passion for sport games but only gambling to make money while others have passion for both.

I do not even bet on my favorite club, Barcelona because I don't find it very good, I see it as been too emotional about it, I have come across multiple times my prediction against Barcelona never goes right even when I did not stake them, they are literally not good enough in my opinion to bet on your favorite club, you can bet on others but yours isn't always proper.

That's why I usually spend more money on gambling for more money and not because of my passion for my football club.

People can have different kinds of feelings at different times based on this discussion, initially I don't gamble just for passion I gamble to make money perhaps that was what I saw some family and friends doing back then, even though they don't talk much about their losses like they do on their winnings for me after gaining experience I have to realize that I have gotten passion on gambling because of my long term involvement regardless of the losses and winning some times, for me it is kind of show of passion now which was not the same thing initially.

There’s a difference between being entertained by something and having passion for something. When someone has passion for something, you wanna keep doing it all the time, which can be dangerous for gamblers if they approach gambling that way, because even if they’re necessarily gambling for the profit, they’ll still land themselves in lots of trouble if they become passionate about gambling cos they’ll wanna be doing it all the time, and like we know the more we get involved in gambling, the higher our chances of getting addicted.

Mostly gamblers who get addicted are the People that don't have something interesting in their life so they search dopamine in other things. That is a good point you made, a lot of people keep betting not even because they are addicted to gambling but because they are drawn to sports games and they are passionate about it, although not everyone that plays sports games are passionate about it but most people are. I would disagree. Not everyone considers betting to be an investment, some people consider it to be spending money rather than investing it, and these are fundamentally different things. Therefore, for one category of gamblers, it is an attempt to do business, while for another category, it is payment for entertainment. The first category, if they become addicted to gambling, can end up in a very sad situation. In my opinion, betting can be described as "showing passion for sports", as long as the bettor is indeed betting on a team they like. What you say makes sense. When gambling, we often unconsciously allow our emotions to be manipulated. Even though we end up losing and suffering losses, it is those feelings that make us want to return and continue gambling. I have experienced this firsthand, obsessed with that feeling, it could be said that i had entered a phase of gambling addiction.
