Making profit and feeling weird

In the case of gambling, winning and losing are basically the same game. Here, which face we choose does not depend on our hands, it depends on our luck. So I will only take it as a small entertainment source and use an amount while playing that will not leave me with any complex thoughts even if I lose that amount.
And in this case, if I make a profit from gambling, I use it most of the time, and if I lose, it is in such an amount that I can easily digest without any stress.

That's normal because I also feel that way when I expect the worst thing that could happen in my session, but then it goes the opposite way, and things get off to a good start.

I don't think I see anything strange about your experience, OP gambling is about two things, winning and losing, I also understand what you mean that gambling more often makes us lose because the percentage of losses is much higher than wins, but that doesn't mean you will always lose, if for example you manage to get a win it means that luck is on your side, and all gamblers also experience the same thing, sometimes winning and sometimes losing, so there is nothing strange about what you experienced.

I never feel awkward that I'm winning a bet or that I won a bet. It is not absurd neither do I regret it. But why do I have to feel so when I lose too?

I feel happy if I'm winning like it is pay back time to get something from bet and in fact, it is a time to begin feel that your effort has paid you. However, I'm also mindful not to allow that happiness push me into more betting and over gambling. What I do is withdraw my winning and allow the profit cool off. You win some days and lose other days, so no need to have nostalgic feeling.

I do understand this feeling. It does feel weird if you constantly keep winning. I know it's a good thing, and everyone would love for this to happen to them. But when you keep winning, there's just like a weird feeling like questioning yourself, is this real? Cause it's something that doesn't happen to us oftentimes. Sometimes you just kinda feel like doubting the situation if there's something wrong when something unusual happens even if it's something good on your side. And sometimes you'd also start overthinking, what if after this, I'll start losing everything I won.

For me, it's a normal feeling. It's not that, you don't like to keep winning. But there's just a bit of feeling weird over something unusual. Maybe that's just our conscious self reminding us not to be too excited over winning continuously cause we end up just losing it when greed strikes.

I think I would just have to say the opposite.. to be honest I haven't seen myself in that mood before and when I am losing it is when I do feels weird because I am already losing which would make me not to put much effort to continue gambling anymore.
However, while gambling I do have limits and amount I should be gambling with and whenever the amount is exhausted then I wouldn't stress and force myself to go make additional deposit just to continue gambling, instead I will give it an end then continue the next time when my allocation has come.

I haven't really thought of anything like that yet because I lose more than I win in gambling. When I win, I feel like I'm going to lose at any moment. If I win one bet, I'm worried about losing another bet. So I've never had that feeling. Those who are get that particular feeling definitely lucky. They may win more than they lose in gambling. I get what you mean, I think a lot of us grow up w/ the idea that gambling is a losing game so when you start winning consistently it feels unusual like something is off or there’s a catch waiting to happen it’s not that you want to lose it’s more your mind reacting to something that doesn’t happen often. For me that feeling is pretty normal especially if you’re aware that gambling is designed to favour the house when profits become consistent you start questioning whether it’s just a lucky run, good timing/something temporary it’s not guilt more like self awareness.

It is not a very common sensation, for obvious reasons, but yes, I have had that feeling before, playing plinko. It wasn't supposed to work that way, but I ended in profit most of my sessions, which made me think that the game was broken somehow. It is true that I played with a very small bankroll back then, and now I wonder what would've happened if I had gambled with more money. The site doesn't exist anymore so I will never know.

Be careful, if you think too much about it, soon you might think you figured how to win all the time, you became invincible etc... Just treat it the same way you treat your losing streaks. It seems that you are misinterpreting what gambling is and how it works. If you win then you are in luck and also look at the type of game you are playing.
Playing tower games or similar games, is also based on luck and if you win there is no need to be surprised because it is time for you.

And you say that gambling is a detrimental game, and you shouldn't make a profit, it's not like it actually is.

No, I don't have such feeling of "I should not be profitable in my gambling engagement".  Almost everyone has a mindset of winning because it is how it should be.  If one has such an idea, he should better quit gambling, who knows, his conscience might not take it and get frustrated or have a depression during his winning moment because he thinks that he should be losing, not winning.

Gambling is not a place to make a profit, nor is it a money-making machine. This is the wrong mindset that many casino players have thinking they can somehow beat the house edge. That kind of thinking honestly shows a high level of greed in an individual.

To be realistic I haven't seen this before or even heard that someone feels so weird for making profits from gambling site, while it is the prayer of every gambler to make profits from the gambling site.

Gambling is not like that, though many have painted it to be such way though (all about losing money ), but is not actually like that , yes you are going to lose but not all the time , just as there’s chances to lose there is also chances to win too .

But base on what have seen and experienced chances to lose is quite more than the chances to win in gambling that’s why many sees it as more of a losing game and stuff , so there is no reason to fit that way luck is on your side enjoY it while it last .

If you feel weird when you are winning in your bets as said and you are not comfortable because you keep to make profits, then then you must make your bets in the sense that you will loose so that you can feel cheered up.

Gambling is meant to make you feel fun while the chances of making profits makes it feel better.
Of course loosing your bets and loosing your bets as often or in the streaks is what makes it feels weird because you won't have the agility to continue playing and you would neither not be in good condition when loosing seemly to become a tradition.

Anr yeah, the motivation in gambling despites its risks surrounded and the claims of fun and entertainments is best when we wins. So loosing is what makes it weird while winning is cheers.
