Making profit and feeling weird

If this is the first time you are feeling weird for winning while gambling, it could be that you were not having a clear mood while you were gambling. No body is supposed to feel weird for winning in gambling, people feel so excited for winning their  bets including myself. I have not had this feeling before but I guess it was as a result of your mood while you were playing the game because if you are feeling unhappy while playing the game, you will not feel the fun but rather be thinking about what ruined your mood and until you are off that mood, you won't enjoy the game.

That feeling is actually normal. We learn that gambling means losing, so when a winning streak comes along, the brain reacts strangely. Making a profit doesn't mean it's no longer gambling, just that luck is on your side. The important thing is to maintain limits and treat it as entertainment.

I just know that I'm extra lucky that day that's why profits keep pouring in. But feeling weird why I'm making profits over losses, no I don't feel that way. Instead, I get more interested and excited to play more hoping that bigger profits awaits for me, though we still lose in the end and that's how gambling is.

However, the reason why we are gambling is to win and make consistent profits, so its never a weird feeling, luck is just within us so its not surprising why we keep winning than losing while gambling.

Different people has different ways they feel or react to every given situation and as for me I don't feel weird when I win because the aim of gambling outside playing for fun and entertainment is winning so why will I feel like I shouldn't have won a game when I stake with my hard earn money, that weirdness you feel is not right because the reason why you are gambling is for you to make profit and eventually you have made some profit so why becoming weird because you won, I will advise you kill that weirdness that overshadow you whenever you win games because winning is why you are gambling.

There are people that has been gambling for a long period and they haven't had the opportunity of winning because winning is difficult when it comes to gambling as it has to do with luck so hearing that you win and feel weird instead of being happy sounds strange to me, if the weirdness comes from loosing I will understand but winning make one happy so I don't feel weird whenever I win because I'm excited for recouping what I have lost.

What is happening to you is that you have lost gambling so much that you have made peace with the idea that you can never win. If you are passing through this stage, when the winnings finally starts coming, you will begin to feel weird as though you don't deserve them. I have passed through this process before and my experience was exactly the same. There is a way you will fail in something that you will just make up your mind that success is not a possibility anymore.

Even though my gambling results tend to be more detrimental than profitable, I don't lose all the time. There are times when I win at a game and enjoy it and there are times when I leave the casino with nothing. Luck in gambling will not come every time, but luck is there even if you don't want to win at that time. About your feelings, I don't think there is anything strange, but you just have a perception that shouldn't be necessary.

I don't think anyone will feel bad winning money in gambling. Even if money is not involved, no one plays a game and wishes to be at a loss by the end of the game. So just imagine when one stakes some amount of money and what one will be expecting from the game.

I feel very happy playing games where money is involved and I am winning. No matter how gamblers claim to be mature and understand it, they still feel some amount of pain when they lose in gambling.

If I lose, I consider 'em entertainment expenses, not particularly 'donation'.

Aren’t you more entertained when you’re winning? Why does it feel weird for you when you win? I honestly don’t get that.

I understand treating gambling as entertainment, but let’s be real, every gambler still wants to win. That’s part of what makes it entertaining in the first place. No one enjoys losing all the time.

So winning shouldn’t feel weird at all, unless you’ve changed how you look at gambling itself.

I don't think many of us do. Many of us want to withdraw money from the casino and use it as a  cash machines, but what we feel is very different from what other gamblers feel.

We are at our happiest when we make money from gambling. We feel that these casinos have made a lot of money from us, and it's our turn to make money at their expense.

The casino will even thank you for feeling they should not have lost to you; this is the kind of gambler they are looking for.

I don't know why you feel so but I've never been making money for any reason of any source and I feel weird, as long as it not illegal, I don't feel weird or anything of such I just know that I am having fun but still bagging some extra cash home and infact when it comes to making money their is one thing as a human you most experienced which is the trigger to make more, even the wealthiest people can acknowledge this that the desire to make more becomes the next move.

You won't find a gambler who is upset after winning at gambling. It's normal to feel strange after winning at gambling, especially in my case, if I start making a profit after losing at gambling, my joy knows no bounds. Gambling is a game that is completely dependent on luck, where you suddenly get lucky and how will you feel if you make a profit? This happens to everyone, you have a happy time when you make a profit and a hard time when you lose.

Feels weird if you ask me, everyone likes it when they are winning  not when they are loosing so I've not for once, have the thoughts of thinking it's not right  that I'm  winning while gambling, what else I'm i supposed to do keep up with,  a daily charity? I could just visit a charity home for that anyway . Infact , it's so so weird and you're the first person I'm  encountering with  this kind of thought.

You are not content with what you get. Because a greedy gambler always thinks of more and is empty despite winning some $$$. Changing your gambling behavior will change your mode and direction as well.

Just imagine that if you win, you earn. But if you lose, you lose something. Forget about the past losses, and don't mind if they were big or small losses, but rather focus on today and the upcoming results. And importantly, treat gambling as an entertainment, so you will enjoy the moment.

This is a strangely vague description that somehow is probably familiar to many I think.  Its the curse of winning and losing that you might suspect you don't deserve to be winning at that moment so focus on the wrong thing.
  I'm not going to say if its right or wrong but these things circulating in your head as a distraction is why you take out some of the winnings so it cannot be lost.  Stick to some rules when playing and you will do far better.

There was a time that I question myself how the hell I was in consistent profits when we all know gambling casinos do not allow us to beat them. But I realized we should also deserve to win most especially if we are also losing a lot of times.

Although gambling isn't a game of give and take, but somehow I think we need to win as well so that we will be more eager to bet more, and that's one strategy of the casinos because the more we bet, the bigger chances we will end up as a loser, though not everyone is given the chance to win and recover their losses.

For me I’d like to consider this as one of the most dangerous points of a gambler’s life, because at this point it’s very easy for any gambler to have an adrenaline rush and get carried away and having that feeling of invincibility, especially when the streak lasts longer than expected. And if care isn’t taken, this can result into some serious damage, especially when the losses starts coming in, because it’s as if your brain may have somehow gotten used to winning and no matter how the losses comes, all the gambler thinks about is returning back to the winning lane, so they don’t care how long they have to keep going to return back there, and that’s how they manage to get caught in the loop of chasing profits and losses.

TBH when I win a bet, it feels like that’s just what I should get, probably because I’ve lost more than I’ve won. I’ve never met anyone who feels weird about winning everyone I know wants to win badly. Hoping that feeling weird about winning can actually help prevent addiction to gambling and maybe it even has a positive effect on gambling behavior. Anyway, if it never puts you in a loss situation then I think it’s fine. Imagine feeling weird because you won and then ending up losing on purpose, lmao .

For the times that I am on a winning streak and being profitable in gambling, it makes me always feel like I should embrace this wins as losses will also come, so I don’t feel weird but capitalize on this wins to make the best out of that time while they still last. The fact that gambling makes one incur more losses than wins, when winning, you’re supposed to feel some excitement in you and not feel some kind of weird to be honest. It’s normal to feel weird though, but I think it depends on the mindset you’ve used to approach the game and how the odds on the basis of winning it to you that winning was never a more positive outcome to you but a loss due to the nature of the game played.

My friend recently did this type of game but I didn't pay attention to it, and with the feelings that you experience, of course I have experienced it myself. Gambling allows us to experience losses more often than wins, I experienced what you experienced when I bet on a whim and not so serious and also did it randomly but the results made me dumbfounded by seeing the results I thought it was not right but after I tried to make a withdrawal and yes it was in my account.
