Modern Medieval sport that should have a betting line?

By the way, is this game even available on most sportsbooks?

That's what we're asking here, and so far, my research points to nothing. Perhaps due to how small this sport is for now, you could only bet on this when you're at the event itself.
I've seen Stake sponsoring and even allowing bets on Armored MMA; if this sport grows, this sportsbook might take notice, and soon enough, we would be able to place bets on it.

In my opinion sports that could be deadly should not be promoted too much.

Gambling platforms should abstain from sponsoring events like this or the powerslap because of how bad of a track record these have. If something can't be done safely better keep it limited or not promote it at all

The lances that are used in these events are nothing like what the actual real Knights used in medieval times. Nowadays, since it's just a sport, the lances are designed to break, greatly reducing danger to the Knights.
Plus, the entire game is built on being an honorable fighter, so those who fight in these matches mostly don't have the goal to actually harm their opponent. Watch this short video for an explanation of what the mechanics of this sport are.
In my honest opinion, MMA (like in UFC), with very little protection to the head, seems far more dangerous than this one.

The ads show based on your previous video watch. Some people will betting on Jousting. Maybe not many people interests because they thinks that is old-school sport.

I am not place a bet on Jousting because I don't know nothing about that. But if many Jousting tournaments available on many places, that will makes it popular and people will curious and find out. Then many people will know and they may interest to place their bet.

It's good that this kind of medieval competition is being revived. Moreover, this is not just a sport, but also a historical reconstruction of the entire entourage of the tournament. There are such tournaments in Russia too, although tickets for them are not cheap. On the other hand, what is cheap in Russia? "Nothing." I only attended simpler historical reconstructions in person; there were foot battles, but I also liked it. Although historical reconstructions are not considered sports, there are no bets there.

I would still bet on it if they were standardized rules, judging, and safety standards. Modern jousting really has all that sportsbooks like: rounds that are discrete, scoring system that is transparent, and decisive outcomes such like unseating. The reason why it has not gone mainstream is as a result of access and optics. Horses are costly, logistics are not light, and injuries appear serious even when safety is controlled. That is one thing that scares broadcasters and regulators. MMA that are armored works  because they are easy for staging and filming.   Betting may not spoil jousting, though it can force governance and consistency that is much tighter, and these the sport yet lacks. It will continue to stay niche if this has not happen. Cool, brutal, and respected, yet it is not commercial enough for lager spread of betting.

Wow! I didn't know anything about this. I would love to see it live and place bets on various events. I recently visited a racetrack and it was exciting. I couldn't even imagine that there were competitions with knights and a scoring system. But I think it would be very difficult to predict the outcome of a match, as there would be a lot of room for manipulation; the competitors could simply agree among themselves.
