Excess of everything they say is a sin and that excess of things is what becomes addictive. Gambling addiction seems to be a more slow killer. As long as person has work, friends, bank give him loan, person has things to sell in pawn shops, he will keep on gambling. Call me crazy then, because I tend to believe it is rather productive and educational for all people to distinguish gambling addiction effects from drug addiction and it's effects on the life of people.

Discipline is the main point if we want to avoid bad things happening to ourselves. Just like if a person wants to buy something expensive, that person needs to discipline to save money.
