I really think there's a strong chance that they will wim the league. I know Flamengo is a contender but I don't think they have it in time to give Palmeiras a run for their money in the title race because just a few days ago, Palmeiras thrashed them mercilessly despite being away at Flamengo's home. Palmeiras will just do the barest minimum to win as much games as possible and still get to win the league because of mediocre title contenders.

But I think that should change, especially for Palmeiras. Teams will come back with more strategies, especially the coaches, because they will see new things at the World Cup and may try to apply them to their teams. And since Palmeiras has a certain advantage, they can make mistakes. So, I believe some teams may copy winning strategies from the World Cup.

I confess that I don't see signing goalkeepers as a priority for Corinthians; they have an acceptable defense, having conceded only 19 goals in 18 games. But they should be concerned with their attack, which has only scored 18 goals in 18 games. If they signed a good striker, they could greatly improve their goal and victory numbers. This way, their position would be higher. I don't know why they are focusing on goalkeepers instead of strikers.

From what I've seen, Vozinha still has a contract with the Portuguese team until the middle of next year. For Corinthians, it might make sense after the transfer window negotiations. However, for Ceará, a Serie B team, it doesn't make sense. It would be fleeting media attention, which might yield some revenue but not much. And they would still have to pay his release clause of about a year. So I don't know if it makes sense for Ceará.
