They say gambling is specific to men, and that's definitely true. There are exceptions, but women who gamble are very few. It's in men's nature to take more risks and experience adrenaline, so I think there might be other reasons too I'm just saying what comes to mind right now. It depends on the environment, social situation and responsibilities that a woman is raised with whether she will be interested in gambling or not. What I understand is that if we compare our society or area with a woman in Los Angeles, it will be seen that women and men are equally addicted to gambling. Where I came from if a woman is gambling she automatically become an outcast, No man will be interested in her. Some men may end up dating, but when it comes to marriage they marry another person. I think that when it comes to looking of money, the way men tend to look for money, women doesn't look for money that way, they do what they know it's for the best, they risk what they can afford to lose and move on to the next thing and that's why before you see one woman that is gambling addict, you will count like 20 gambling addicted male gamblers, they are exposed and money lovers due to society pressure than men that has to prove to society that they have something.

Generally, gambling doesn't have specifications with money, you can see a person that likes a particular game and when you check another, you may see the same number of gamblers again running after another game. All it's because they want to make money. Men obsession with money is why you see it like women are not gambling and this is a proof that male gamblers are addicted to gamblers than the way the females are addicted to gambling.

I think we have a different observation regarding this specific topic. In my country, at least, land-based casinos are typically visited equally by both male and female genders. Even if we do think that most activities are male-dominated, in gambling however, it does not choose whom gender to bias in terms of addiction or hobby.

Again, I do think it varies per country depending on the laws about gambling.

To give you an example, in Muslim countries, they typically prohibit any form of gambling. Additionally and unfortunately, there are also some countries that have unequal opportunities when it comes to certain activities which necessarily implies that men are allowed and women are not.

Regardless, however, this topic seems to focus too much on gender-based approach on gambling where I believe is not an issue. Not only in gambling but also in other sports or activities where there are equal opportunities for both.

Now, it depend on the regulation of the country, there some are countries that doesn’t allow gambling, like most of the Muslim countries, they prohibit from all gender. There are other countries that are not strict towards gambling, in this countries both male and female do visit the casino, but men and boys often visit the casino more than the women, most feminine gender believes in making their money in a less stressful manner of which gambling can be less stress but very depressing if you lose your fund, of which most female won’t be able handle such depression. In previous times, gambling in my local was regarded as male thing but in recent times, everyone is already seeing it as normal.
In recent times, I don't think gambling is anymore a gender thing because now everyone understands the importance of making money and everyone is seeking every possible ways to earn and I think women who gamble are even now respected amongst themselves and even seen as courageous for gambling.

I am not sure about male dominance in gambling. But I also see women playing slots, roulette, and card games. However, I rarely see women placing sports bets. We may also notice that more men gamble than women. We don't know the reason why this happens, but that is what actually happens around us. Gender is not a limitation for gambling activities, but rather pertains to the fact that women's and men's interests may differ when it comes to entertainment.

Personally, I wouldn't like it if a girl I met told me she liked gambling. It's just that perceptions are different: men who gamble or play casinos are considered normal, but if a girl does it, it's hard to understand why she does it. I think men are generally more into betting. I've never been interested in statistics, but I think there are far fewer women gamblers. It's easier for me to explain this in betting, because if you pay attention, football matches are mostly watched by men, while women are more indifferent. Therefore, men are much more likely to start betting, they at least understand which team they could bet on, and that's the first step to betting. I can't even imagine what the statistics are like in slots, but here everything is much simpler and anyone can play without any skill.

To be honest, I think gambling is mostly played by boys. But in some cases it is seen that men and woman have equal means. There are many types of gambling, including sports betting. We all know that as we both show interest in playing and have enough knowledge about different games. So you can gamble very easily through sports betting. But mostly boys dominate here. And the role of girls in gambling platforms is very low. Another aspect of this is that men are always busy making money, so they resort to these avenues. It is mostly dominated by men but there are alot of female gamblers out there so it's not exactly gender based, it's actually neutral especially in my country where females are almost always the ones working in gambling houses with others showing up to place bets on their favourite games, but that's doesn't mean they are more involved than males are, it just means that gambling isn't gender based and females gamble too.
