To be honest gamblers need to do everything possible not get addicted to gambling because when a gambler fall into addition it becomes a big deal to control yourself. Things are really happening, but the most annoying part of it is that gamblers are still going extra mile in gambling because they want to be rich quick through gambling without realizing that gambling involves losses than winnings these are very common in the social media it is only when you come across it that you would be able know how deeper some gamblers are going through gambling.

Gambling while he is still sick can be a serious sign of addiction. If he truly cares about his health, he should avoid gambling because gambling can make his mental become unstable. Imagine losing big amount on betting and becoming emotionally unstable at a time when he should be resting and focusing on recovery.

If he forces himself to gamble while unwell and then loses he may blame other people including his family who are taking care of him. We know that gambling can bring enjoyment if we are able to control it, but if he cannot control it, it can lead to more dangerous consequences.

Well, I can't possibly say that he's addicted to gamble because he might be doing that just to get himself entertained and also have fun with it. Because I could imagine how it feels like being on the hospital bed, the loneliness. although I'm not saying that what he did was right of which if I were in his shoes I wouldn't have done that Because it can add more problems to the one i have.

Maybe he just have this believe that he can do it without being affected and of course it is possible for him to gamble without being affected even while he's on the hospital bed.

That's correct. If the only reason he decided to play was simply because he just wanna have some fun, i mean strictly for the sake of having fun, then there's absolutely wrong with him deciding to gamble even while he's sick, in fact some fun could even help accelerate and speed up his healing process, both mentally and psycologically.

True happiness is barely involved in this action, but other it is body need to stop painful stop sickness, which is final step of addiction where sick person has lost power to control his or her urges. I will not be mistaken if I say his cronic gambling addicted life style is what might has landed him on a hospital sick bed and even as serious of placing him on oxygen life support yet he still don't want to learn his lesson. At this point I still haven't arrived at a better phrase in classifying such person because if he can display such attitude even on a sick bed with the aid of oxygen life support then what happened when he is strong out there walking freely, meaning he will do worster than this.

To me I will call this madness in the highest order, because it very obvious that his life means absolutely nothing to him perhaps what really matters most to him is how he can quench his endless urge of gambling addiction. Gambling makes more sense when you take charge of your actions and not being a slave to it, therefore regardless how i gamble I always ensure my safety because that's is my first priority.

It might be just for content because since social media platforms got monetized, people do a lot of outrageous things just for it to go viral and they get engagement on their page. How can someone who is battling with his life still have the consciousness to play gamble. However, there are people that addiction has eaten so deep such that they can gamble under any circumstance. Have seen people who even use their phones to bet games while they are in the church or public places like inside a transportation bus. You see this thing called addiction, it's better not to even fall for it because you won't be able to help yourself even when you are in a conscious state.

You might be right on your assertion of claiming it's a content creation and we all know how outrageous people act to get their Facebook pages monetize but I can tell you for free that some of the things we come across on Facebook are real and it might shock you that this particular one won't be far from the truth but my blame is on the management of the hospital because a sick person should be restricted from mobile phones so they can respond to treatments properly, what if the cause of his sickness was as a result of high blood pressure and here he is still engaging in gambling , how will he heal if that's the case?.

We should discipline ourselves against addiction to gambling because it's like a killer disease that once you get afflicted with it you can hardly overcome it. It's only an addict that won't get serious with his health and will be gambling at the expense of his life. People should gamble for fun not to depend on it so it won't affect their mental health.

It may not be addiction that have driven the young man to gamble even under his present health predicament. It could be that he just wanted to give it a try on something like gambling which could help support his medical bills provided he becomes lucky with that particular bet he's making on his sick bed.

Assuming this man from his sickbed hits a million dollar bet, I am so convinced that the story from some persons opinion about his action would be different from what they're making for now.

I think that even for addicted people, truly addicted ones, a bet can never be more important than life itself. A player may keep playing and losing all their money, but there will come a moment when they get hungry, and the feeling of hunger will outweigh any gambling excitement. If in winter they have nowhere to sleep and end up outside in the cold, that will sober them up as well. The desire to find a warm place to stay overnight will be stronger than the desire to place a bet. But these are extreme situations, which rarely happen even to people with a severe addiction.

Did you watch the real video of this incident? How are we so sure that the man was betting  or probably he was just going through something else on his phone and then was recorded by an unknown person who sold the video to these lying bloggers and then they uploaded the video and tag it something that will make it go viral. I don't true every story I see online because they can all tell lies just to gain more views.

I don't see anything wrong with the image and the man there is just waiting to complete his treatment and walk away, hospital can be boring and filled with noise most times so seeking entertainment is most important just like some people watch live football in the hospital.

But it is very unfortunate that people won’t be addicted to gambling, because it is not everyone who understands gambling. There are people who will enter into gambling with greed and desperation, and these are the reasons why people are addicted to gambling.

There are some people who misunderstand gambling, and they are so eager to start gambling without having a better understanding of what gambling is all about. Addiction to gambling is just like mistakes, and it is impossible not to make mistakes; however, in gambling, addiction leads to costly mistakes that you can’t just easily correct.

Due to the stories some new gamblers have been seeing online and different stories about how people are making money online, Some gamblers don't want to miss any opportunity that could make them regret why they are not gambling often and that is one of the reasons why some gamblers would want to gamble everyday when they have the money and time to bet to increase their chances.

This is indeed very funny, someone struggling to survive is gambling. Honesty, I have never seen such a post in my life, this is the first of its kind I have encountered.
In as much as much as, I do not care about how and when people gamble, I still think this is in appropariate healthwise. Gambling while on life support only makes things get worse for the gambler. Anxiety can kick in, causing quick death or more danger. 

I blame the hospital where he was admitted for allowing a man in that condition to have access to his phone when he's supposed to be monitored to ensure they everything goes well with him. For crying out loud they guy is an addicted gambler you don't expect him not to gamble or check the outcome of his bets even in sick be because it will look like the whole world is ending if he doesn't gamble, the worst thing is that if he gambles in that condition and lose which is very possible that alone can send him to his early grave because he can have a heart attack as a result of the stress and pains he's having while losing.

I'd like to try to justify this guy by saying he's trying to distract himself. When I was in the hospital undergoing surgery, I felt bad. I saw the faces of other patients and was scared, they were taking blood tests. I didn't want to be there, and the only thing I wanted was to at least take my mind off the atmosphere. And so I played games and read books, and watched movies. If I had a lot of money, maybe I would play poker or spin the slots, because that has an even stronger effect on my mood and consciousness. But I don't think the guy from the post above has a lot of money. That's my thought on this situation.

I believe he has a guardian or parent that at looking out for him. The person that did that video probably did it out of fun because of his condition and not to mock the guy but you know the internet, if they want to push an agenda and make it go viral, they will do anything for just trend. Observe the things that are posted on internet very well, you will see that things that are posited that happens turn out to be lie but for content and impression, they will make it go viral.

As for the guy, this condition can be boring, your friends will not be there with you, most parents will cut them off completely from the friends just for him to have peace of mind. Now gambling is the only fun thing he can do and I'm sure he will not gamble more than he has. Some people that you see on oxygen support or any other serious medical conditions do the most funny things during their last moment, he may be experiencing new right now.

I'm so glad we have technology now that allows us to escape the harsh reality, which isn't always as pleasant as it used to be. We sit on soft chairs and sofas, healthy and happy, and our minds don't dwell on how bad things are for sick people. After all, we don't appreciate our own health until we get sick ourselves. I hope that the guy in the main post is doing well and that his days are not numbered, and that he's simply distracting himself from his condition and the surroundings. The hospital is truly unpleasant. It smells of medication, everything reminds him of boredom, health risks, and pain. It's understandable that he wanted to escape from all of this.
