This is correct about win and losing in gambling which we have exhausted it in couples of discussions about gambling in this board. Every person who gamble wants to win, it makes them feel lucky and happy when they're winning but nobody wants to lose,. nevertheless, you must accept the losses when it occurs because it's part of the game. The moment a gambler doesn't agree with this two terms working uncontrollably but by chance, he would ultimately have the trigger to always chase his losses and we know what the end to that is gonna be.

Losing in gambling is always their, but many gamblers just have that mentality that they dont deserve to lose in gambling and every outcome of the game should always end up as win. But gambling is all about lose and win and it is very easy for gamblers to lose in gambling that is why it is advisable for gamblers to just gamble with the money they can afford to lose. It is impossible to take away lose from gambling and it is what people needs to have in mind.

If someone never regrets it, it means he isn't aware of the mistake. Someone regrets when he knows it is a mistake. So, he can take a lesson from the mistake and never does it anymore in the future. Sure, it is very clear that a regret is a part of the change of someone's mindset. Someone will realize to take a lesson whenever he regrets of doing something. I think it depends on how much someone lost money. If it is a normal loss, he won't mind it. So, there will be no lesson here. But if someone lost too much money due to an excessive gambling, he must regret it and possibly take a lesson. CMIIW

Indeed, it's a lesson if you treat it as experience knowing that in each action you take there's always a outcome that you need to accept, for most gambler who can't handle the pressure they will keep increasing their bets to cover their losses and try to have something decent if luck permits them, but that's another thing as if you lose your next bet then you'll be pressure to increase for more and so on. It just repeat itself most likely and ends up losing more than what you can afford to let go.

Having a cut one on your bet is really frustrating, it will make you to continue again believing that you will win on the next round but unfortunately you might not win even though you keep trying multiple times.

You are absolutely right, there is nothing to learn from losses that comes from playing a game that is pure luck based including sports betting, for example, what can someone learn from their loss while playing a slot game? And there's definitely things to learn on psychological level. OP isn't denying that this is a game of luck. You might not learn how to become profitable in this, but you can learn what you are using gambling for, and recovering losses by betting more would be definitely wrong lesson to get from gambling. I believe the principal idea of the OP was misinterpreted by most individuals. It is not a matter of seeking a means of getting themselves profitable in gambling, it is a matter of coming to terms with reality and getting the correct psychological lesson. Gambling is a game of luck and chances of winning and losing, in the case of seeking to reclaim the losses one has made by gambling, by putting more bets, it will mean even greater losses. It is this attitude that lands many into a trap in years. It is growing when you come to terms with the fact that the money is lost and abandon it. It is also imperative to know your triggers such as friends or boredom. Losses are unacceptable instead, apply it as a lesson and proceed with a more clear and controlled mind.

I agree with you to some point but awareness alone is not enough when it comes to gambling because gambling can be so tempting and if you are not disciplined enough we would fall prey by turning an addict. Addiction is a very crazy thing and it can render someone useless if they didn't stop or if the person is not been treated and the sad part is that it is very difficult to treat someone that has been addicted to gambling and not just gambling even alcohol addiction.

Of course, and I would also say that discipline alone is not enough. As you mentioned, gambling is very tempting, and I agree with that, but discipline without firmness is useless. In the end, it will be very easy for someone to violate the plan they have made, and that is because of a lack of firmness.

You’re correct but there’s still one thing you need to know that this same game of chance has made a lot of gamblers to start chasing their losses.It’s a normal thing to lose in gambling but don’t let your losses rule your decisions.There are lot of lessons to learn if your the type that chase losses,gambling is a game of luck as it mostly said,it could a lucky or an unlucky day to a player,most players when they find out that it’s not their lucky day they stop immediately but to some gamblers they’re even ready to exceed their limit and still not win at the end of the day.In conclusion,gamble wisely.
