Does anyone else feel unlucky every time they lose?

I don’t know if I’m overthinking, but every time I place a bet, say 5 games, and 2 lose, my first thought is always: “I’m just unlucky.”

I catch myself thinking, if I hadn’t played those games, it would’ve gone the other way.

Does anyone else feel like this, or is it just me with this weird mindset?

Same way when you don't place those games in your bet, you see them winning, this feeling is always there for gamblers,  and that is what make gambling an unexpected game and mostly unpredictable and what make the casinos to remain in business through those revenue generation.

Some time I use to think that, my luck wins more in a particular casinos Compared to others, this are just emotional triggers that you need to overlook those feelings and focus on reducing your risks of losing.

First place bets in amount you can afford to lose and use them as a learning process never be over expectant in a bet most especially tickets that you have multiple games on.

Actually every gambler has the same thought, they think losing is unlucky. So you don't take it too seriously until you think this is too much even though other people also think the same.

The usual parlay bet is often we lose a lot rather than win.

I have just played roulette less than an hour ago and I lost the money, it was fun for me. Which means I do not see my self unlucky as I used very small amount of money for the roulette. I used 2.5% from the money that Stake paid me to gamble it. The amount that I used to gamble was small but I can afford to lose it and it was fun.

Normally, we feel bad whenever we miss a target, this is human nature and we can feel this way at any point in time, this is where maturity comes in that whenever we feel bad about missing a target, we have to be able to manage ourselves and control the emotion we have towards it by not behaving rudely.

If we also consider ourselves that we must gamble based on our individual capacity to afford a loss upon any bet taken, then it shouldn't pain us seeing that we lose and we are being more emotional about this and it becomes a serious concern to an extent that we can even afford to cope seeing that we couldn't meet that target.

I always see myself as unlucky gambler, any game I stake for end up losing no matter the options, it will still end in losing so I don't bet always to reduce losing much money. I and i don't like betting on single bet because of my low staking.

I feel unlucky in gambling that's why I don't stake huge sum of money, we're many that feel same way, game that people are winning once I reprint it, I'll lose. Gambling isn't my thing.

Yes of course, you are unlucky, and that's the prettiest thought you could ever get than having the thought of blaming and hating yourself for not choosing the right ones.  I only thought of not been good enough when I started gambling, and when I stayed long in the game, I exactly knew every positive outcome comes out of luck.

Ever since then, I knew winning is out of luck not based from my prediction.

Everyone has bad luck at times, but "luck" is really just an excuse to accept defeat against the odds.  The bookie will continue to profit from your "bad luck" mindset because it creates the opportunity for you to keep returning for a "fair" return on your losses.  But the sooner we accept the fact that "luck" is actually just a feeling in our mind, the better for us in the future.

This sounds like a glass half empty problem. Honestly, I expect to be paying for entertainment when I gamble, so I’m not disappointed when I lose, but happy when I win. I feel like I beat the odds and came out ahead of the pack. When I lose, it is the thrill of possibly winning that keeps me going.

At the very instant it would seem like I would have to try again but to some extent with the categorized loosing streaks I think that would absolutely be an awful moments for the gamblers due to the recorded loses encountered. So in as much as you have that feeling of excitement whenever you win the feelings is applicable to when you lose as well. But in your own case I think you're unlucky and you don't have to force it cause it's meant to occur.

You always think you will win and the chance is high to take a lot of money home. But the real truth is the odds are not in your favor and every bet can go in a bad way.

You say unlucky to yourself with that sport betting ticket, I would not consider that unlucky. In sport betting we are dealing with predicting the future of a game that is much different from slot machines which gives you instant results be them good or bad. Back in the days when I used to gamble and play sport betting I felt unlucky many times when I was missing my parlay tickets for just one game, I used to play many games, usually 10 games in a parlay and one time I have even lost it with an 1.15 odd from a favorite team which I remember as my most unlucky parlay ever. Don't overthink as that is just the way gambling is as there is nothing we can do about it. Now let me tell you what real unlucky means in the gambling world and that is losing 29 buy bonuses in a row in a slot machine  that really hurts.

That's one of the biggest sources of attraction to gambling: the uncertainty of thinking, "I could have done this or that," and ending up with the feeling that either you shouldn't have gambled, or maybe you should have, depending, because obviously your thoughts are influenced by the results. Before seeing the results, you don't ask yourself those questions, or if you do, you don't give them much importance because you don't know what will happen.

every one when losing will say they are unlucky, it's just a normal mindset. I know not all people will say if their loss just because unlucky, some of them also never thinking that losing money, because he just playing with small money and afford to lose it. I my self on "unlucky gambler thinking side", even just small amount let say $20, sometimes I can't accept that lose, LOL

This is normal since anything unfavorable happens, people always say they are unlucky, so there is no news on this.  Furthermore,  regrets are always at the end, so stop overthinking things after some losses. Instead, plan things ahead and make yourself prepared for the possibility of the worst thing happening, then accept it.  This way, you won't get frustrated or stressed out whenever bad results happen when you are engaging in gambling.

As for the feeling, yes there will always come a time when a person regrets not following their insights or not quitting when they are ahead.  This is due to the carelessness of a person when they think they are in control, but actually, they are not.
