Does anyone else feel unlucky every time they lose?

I don’t know if I’m overthinking, but every time I place a bet, say 5 games, and 2 lose, my first thought is always: “I’m just unlucky.”

I catch myself thinking, if I hadn’t played those games, it would’ve gone the other way.

Does anyone else feel like this, or is it just me with this weird mindset?

Everyone thinks this way, aside gambling human instinct always act differently in terms of handling losses. Anyone facing such challenges when it comes to losing I think a proper budget will help or if the budget management is well organized the person should stop for some time because it shows the person gets emotional handling gambling lose besides we all know the side effect when a person can’t control their emotions either addiction grows faster or the person intend to go all in hoping for a win commonly a lucky win that will prove a point.

It's not weird, it's natural. This is gambling; you can have first straight losses or win, you really can't tell. The moment you're betting, you can only guess; the best thing to do is to be accepting and open to whatever the situation brings.

You may be unlucky in your first few bets, but who knows what the other bets will come out to be later? Just go with the flow and have fun; wins most of the time come when you're not forcing it.

That is problem of gambling it doesn't mean that whenever you participate in gambling all the game you bet will you run all through so that is why people says that the gambling is all about risk so when trading with ambulance you have to know that you may lose all you may not lose and that is why you need to gamble with what you can afford to lose, most of us today who are in gambling have a experience a lot of losses and that is why we don't put a much amount of money in gambling because we may lose it at any point in time when we didn't expect it so do not pick offense as one or two games do cut your game whenever you gambled

I hate to admit it but I'm guilty of this. This is why I don't forced myself to bet whenever I'm not in a good mood because luck will also be compromised, though there are some few games that are not totally luck-based.

But with losses, we can really tell that luck is not with us. Or we are still trying to process it, and when we hit positive results, that's where we can tell also that luck favors us.

However, regardless of whether we're lucky or not, just bet using your extra money so that if you lose, it won't be painful for you.

That’s actually a very common mindset ror every gsmblers and it’s hindsight bias mixed with the gambler’s fallacy, where losses feel personal and avoidable after the fact. Our brains are great at rewriting outcomes, making it seem like not placing the bet would’ve magically changed the result. Not weird at all, just a reminder that variance exists and luck doesn’t adjust itself based on our choices.

2 losses out of 5? That is still a win. Well, I guess I am over with that kind of feeling right now because I got used to seeing a loss rather than a win.

It's on slots that I feel very unlucky when a losing streak happens. It actually feels like I am cheated. It should be normal, that I know. Slots are games that are not easy to win, but the multiplier can be super high when you hit the right algorithm.
It could cost a lot of money when you stake in slots, and that is why I'd rather do it in sports where I have either a chance of winning or bet 2 games and try to have a split.

of course gamblers feel unlucky when they lose because that's literally the opposite of winning so that's something they are going to think about but it is useless to keep thinking about the things you would have done differently after losing because it won't change anything. Gambling is a game of wins and losses, same way you accept your wins you must also accept your losses as well.

Not all gamblers blame their lost game on bad luck all the time; some push it to their skill and try to duty themselves to do better. Even if there is still a loss next time, they will still consider it to be something that has to do with the game. Luck might have a hand, but you will never see them regard themselves as being unlucky.

Not with me!
But I understand that you have that feeling and I think this is normal for someone who does not know how the gambling work.

Mathematically, luck will always be slightly in favor of the casinos, so it is completely normal to lose more than you win in the long run, but this is not something fixed in the way you described... generally there will be times when you win several in a row and other times when you lose many bets in a row.

So, if you know how the casinos working, then you are already prepared to lose more than win and you know that it is not a matter of "being unlucky" but rather a program that has been set to favor the casinos. Obviously, this is not illegal, because every well informed player knows that is how it works... the casino needs to make a profit to continue operating.

Well, yes, if you bet on 20 games and only one game that costed you then you would be still be winning huge if you didn't include that game but how will you know that one game to not inlcuded and if you would know why did you included in the first place?

We can all say if's and but's, in reality you can't avoid those and this is part of your luck too and want to win big then you need to make it on every game.

Yes, I think the same as you but not too often and seriously because that is related to the luck I have. If I do not have my luck, perhaps no bet I win so I don't have to overthinking.

Besides that, this is just for spends free time so we don't have to thinks always win. That is for prevention of the will to chase the wins. Perhaps, we can win all games we bet so nothing to worry. But if you still thinking like that, that is up to you but you may not enjoy the games.

I don't feel unlucky every time I lose, I only feel unlucky when my loses are becoming frequently. There is no one that doesn't lose in gambling, as far as Gambling is concerned we must always lose more and that is enough reason why we should not think much about it or see it as being unlucky. A normal Gambler will just gamble what he can afford to lose and not excessively in a way he becomes angry at his loses. He lose are just mean to be small amount that wouldn't affect him and not the one that will affect him.

Are you talking about a series of bets where you lose 2 out of 5 games? Well, if the goal is to win, then those 2 losses undermine the entire series, meaning you can't win. Therefore, even guessing the results of 3 games doesn't matter, because the end result is a loss of the entire series. In this case, half luck equals you to a complete loser.

Perhaps, to start feeling more successful, you should reduce the number of bets? Bet on 2 or 3 games (not 5); that way, you'll gain confidence and win something.

When one feels unlucky, they’ll be like today is not just my day probably the next day, others will be like, let me try again, maybe I played the wrong game and they keep playing until you’re left with no funds for the day. I will try again, but then are you taking the right measures, are you letting your emotion or greed makes you add more games to your list because you want big wins or you stake with money you can’t afford to lose. When you play so many games, your chances of winning are reduce. If you play a game or two, your chances of wining maybe within  the range of 50/50, but when the games are added to 5 and above, you reduce your chances of winning. When the game is lost, you end up regretting, saying I shouldn’t have added this particular game or that particular game. Secondly you don’t see gambling as a get rich quick scheme, except you want to get want to get a casino of your own, and that as well require a lot of work to put together.

There is nothing strange in such thoughts. I think so too. But all these thoughts "after" are fruitless. The only useful conclusion is that if the bad luck streak has dragged on too long, then you need to stop. Because a streak of bad luck almost never ends with a win, this period can only be interrupted. And after the break, you can win (however, this is a very subjective "conspiracy theory", and personal, so I do not insist on my opinion).

Even if you worry your self from now till tomorrow you can't still get back your Lost funds instead you will keep on losing more that's the more reasons you just need to let it slide an move on, moreover losing is inevitable and can't be avoided regardless, so it's probably you accept it earlier than this the better for you.

However, this are major things you would have first considered before embarking in gambling, nothing is 100% sure in gambling so the faster you realize this fact the better for you.

To me I just understand all this and just think the best approach that can't ensure me of my safety even in my gaming streak is when am doing it for fun and nothing more .

It is natural to feel that kind of way like being unlucky at your lose whether you are using small amount or not, when we win we assume that we are lucky and when you lose too you are unlucky because you didn't win, but when we lose we don't have to take to heart because lossing is a normal thing in gambling and if such feeling of unlucky is taken to heart definitely it will negatively affect your emotions but however, it is nothing to worry so amount about because if it happens that you are unlucky to lose when you gamble doesn't mean that you are unlucky in your other areas of life.

Its like the grass is always greener on the other side. You can compare the time when you are gambling and not gambling and the stark difference will.be that when not gambling you will face more thoughts of "I can also win this big and when playing "I am always unlucky".

This is why you also should stop gambling when you have been having a red streak. The long term result may be a win but most likely will lead to a loss.

The point is that even someone who bets on only like two matches funny enough, one of the games will still lose and spoil everything. In fact, someone can still play just one match and still lose. Some will be like, I should not have even picked that team; I should have picked the other team.this has happened to me many times, and in fact, I am even tired of it. The point is that I have staked on like five games in a parlay,one or two games will lose. And even if I still play two parlays, one will still lose.

But the fact is that I don’t gamble with what I can’t afford to lose, if not, I would be in great trouble. Gambling is all about luck, and if the luck is on someone’s side, they will think they are good at prediction, not knowing it’s not like that.In fact, the kind of games that some set of people are using to win big amounts keeps surprising me, because my own bets that have small odds are still difficult to win.
