Why do we gamble?

I mostly do it because, to some extent, it reminds me of a few of my previous failed businesses and it gives me some satisfaction whenever I get it right ^{[I only use small amounts, so regardless of the result, it has little to no impact on my other funds]}... It's safe to say that despite doing enough research & analyzing different things, most of us here still tend to lose most of our bets, so for me, it's really fun to experience the moment I'd get lucky with my picks.

That is how it works, because if we have "fun" then losing isn't a big problem for us, it's just in exchange for the fun we get. I have always said the same thing, people spend countless amounts of money on fun stuff all around the world, and yet they are shocked about gamblers. Sure if you are losing all you have in gambling then it is terrible and you should stop. But if you limit your losses, then who cares about any of this?

Women go buy bags and shoes and makeup  all the time, think of it like we are using the same amount of money on gambling. Some guys go to watch sports games, some play games on pc, and some just like to gamble with the same amount of money, nothing wrong with that as long as you do not overdo it.

Just like the title say, why do we gamble? This is a crucial question that if it's been asked everyone will likely say they gamble to have fun and to be well entertained maybe at their free or bored time.

But if that is the case why do we usually complain most times when we lose or why the persistent chasing of lost or try to get back our lost each time we lose in our gaming streak , perhaps is it that some of us aren't sincere to our self when we usually say we only gamble for the fun? Or is it more in mind that we aren't saying out?

You are perfectly correct,  knowing  once main reasons for gambling is one thing we most not joke with  as some claims they are gambling for fun but get heartbroken when they lose on the process, Making once goal defined in what ever we want to get involved in is a perfect step to greatness as the defined goal will serve as a watchdog on once daily activities.

Being honest with you in this question here, that say why do we gamble?,  i will humbly say that i gamble to make a profit and at the same time still gamble for fun because we all know that gambling involves staking with money so for that reason if any funs in gambling should to come place or complete in gambling it is when all gamblers do experience  winning tickets  always, if not i don't think fun is ever complete gambling, and i believe equally that so many will be deviating from saying that they gamble to make money but only for fun but I'm here to speak from my point of view that the fun is not complete in gambling without winning severally or once.

Yes, in reality there are a lot of hypocritical people who are two-faced but yes we cannot fully blame them because sometimes they also do not realize that they are actually gambling for money and not for entertainment, and as I said earlier that most of them lie to avoid criticism from others so that they are still called gamblers who come with a good approach and purpose.

People  may gamble for different reasons and whatever reason it is, it is not really bad but the most important thing, no matter the reason why people gamble it is important to have it in mind not to gamble more than what you cant afford,  because whatever is the reason why you gamble and if you are gambling more the reason why you gamble cant change anything.

The majority of gamblers that gamble for money are higher than those gamblers that is gambling for fun because you will not going to stress yourself when you loose, but if you are gambling for money, anytime you lose funds in gambling it will affect your mood through out the day because that is not your wish for the gambling, gambling for fun or entertainment, you don't need to spend much fund before you can make huge funds from gambling because the little you are making from gambling it will make you happy and confident to more games to gamble, it will give you peace of mind whenever you use what you can afford to lose in gambling because that is what is keeping some gamblers till today.

Rightly said as you just admitted the truth. Most people always end up saying the fun part they get in gambling but i can say about 70% of gamblers actually do gamble for the financial part, the money they can get out from gambling  all the time.
Another very important reason why a few people join gambling is to feel among. To show that they are also amongst those who know something about gambling and they also gamble aswell. Especially for young youths who have friends and have conversations and arguments in course of the conversation. When they are caught up unaware or maybe clueless of what the other person said about gambling the next moment, this person would like to gamble eo that he can know what is happening in the gambling sites and get really involved.  This is so that in the next time of conversations he will also feel among and involved.
