I have lost a lot like most of us probably have lost too. I don't bet on sports anymore but even if I did I would have continued to lose I am 100% sure for this and you know why, because no one can beat or predict the future or what the referee will do, you can be an expert in knowing all the good players, all the information, you could have been following almost every game of the teams that you decide to bet on and you still lose as I said exactly because of the referee. No one punishes them, no one gives them a warning or something so for me it is exactly them that "dark forces" are using to make the game end like they want hence the surprise results every week otherwise I have no other explanation for such results. So it is not trials and errors like you say but it is because of the referees in my opinion.

Dont have any tracks since im just that only spending into the amount that i can afford to lose but making up some estimations then it would be that something $2000-3000

We do all want to be profitable but we do know that shit do happens and dealing up with something that needs up some luck on which no matter
how good your analysis would be but still it wouldnt be that giving out that guarantee.

Play for fun, as long you are that not getting being broke with betting or gambling then you should be just that fine.

I dont think about that payoff thing about getting successful. Somewhat I do have those hopes that i can be able to have at least
a good winning rate in despite of those loses.

Thinking up this as a business are fools, the best approach on here is that you are just that doing this to be some sort of leisure spending or having some fun nothingless.

I don't think it's about bad decisions and emotional betting. It's about the system being designed to take money from gamblers on long run, and there is nothing they can do about it. We can't consider to be a bad decision to place a bet on a team which is obvious to win, but that after all, for some weird reason they end losing the match. The gambler can't be blamed for that. He can be blamed only for insisting on gambling as a source of income.

That is the key. Gamblers have to accept it's just a hobby, and not a business to make a living from, unless they are the casino.

I'm not really the type of bettor that likes to bet consistently even when losing because I know that it's only going to lead to losses in the long run. instead of betting more after losing it's important to take short or permanent breaks depending on how you see fit as the bettor. Aiming for profit is not a bad idea but doing it constantly even when you notice that you are losing isn't really advisable to do.

I couldnt remember the year ^{(i started before joining this forum)} I started betting on sports, but my gambling journey started with dice, then slots games, and later sports betting.
Nevertheless, I never calculate the amount i have lost because i dont see losing the game as a loss since my gambling psychology, buzz is intact, and I never go beyond my limit, which is seen as winning to me. This allows me to see the game as a means of entertainment instead of chasing losses, and this is also the reason why I never give up cause I am doing fine with the game. Whenever my chance to win comes i hit the winning streak and do some withdrawal immediately and leave gambling for that day.

What keeps me going is understanding and accepting the game concept to be 1% chance of winning, risk management, discipline, always checking my psychology, and buzz.

If someone can do proper analysis of sports then this analysis can be useful for him to win in spot setting. There are many gamblers who lose most of the time in gambling after splitting which is not at all desirable for them so they can change their betting style they can come out of slot games and bet on sports betting because if someone is a good action analyst and has the ability to analyze the teams then he can use the power of analysis and win.

What keep most people going in sport betting is the believe that the next bet could become the winning bet and they recover from all previous loses, this works sometimes and other time qe run into problems with that, and the reason why we most often warn gamblers most especially sport bettors to quite chasing their loses as fast as they do, since the result have never been good all the while recording more loses than their expected recovery winnings.

I have been gambling for about 7-8 years, although not regularly. And I have been betting on sports since then. But I do not bet frequently. When there is a game of my favorite team, I bet on that team. And at that time I do not see whether I am losing or making a profit. A conscious and responsible gambler knows very well when to stop, when to control the situation, and when to avoid it. Those who can adhere to such important restrictions, are the ones who can basically survive here, just having fun. But when it comes to an irresponsible gambler, he does not know when to stop, he keeps playing regardless of everything, he cannot stop himself despite his losses, he cannot stop playing immediately to limit the losses, all in all, he blindly sticks to it. It is natural to have the goal of profit, but when the situation is unfavorable, one should not blindly chase it, and only those who can be careful in this regard can survive.

I can not remember the age I begin gamble but it was at my earliest adult age. I have not thought of keeping records of my profits and losts.
I just follow it up like it is a game to play without being taken too serous of recalling looses. It ruins the fun of the game.
It is also notable that it is only those who bets with emotions are gamblers who keep record of their lost funds in gambling.

Be warned that it is not encouraging because it won't leave you good memories in the long term.

so far in all my years of being involved in sports betting is would say that it is my discipline that has been able to keep me this long in the game without losing a huge amount of money. The more you practice risk management your bankroll would last longer and this is also going to help you minimise losses in the long run. one important thing for gamblers or bettors is to always stake responsibly

Are you talking about online sports betting or offline? But I have been betting for a long time, although I have rarely won. I still think that maybe one day I will win the jackpot which will be very profitable. To be honest, I still play more for fun. So I will not give up until I reach my goal. Many people think that betting is all about luck, but in reality, sports betting is possible if you play patiently, using your knowledge, statistics and experience.

It's just kind of normal and it happens most of the times especially when  you are almost winning you tend to want to try and focus more on the side you didn't get it right even while losing you still have the courage and hope of winning as such you just keep gambling.
Just like the saying goes winners never quit and quitters never win, so even when you tend to be losing you still will want to continue playing with the hope of winning anytime soon. It not bad to hope to win but most times your expectations might not be met and it ends up not a really good gambling day but however one win can cover your numerous loses.

Unfortunely I will answer only the first 3 questions.
First, I have been betting for quite a long time now. No specific date, but it's more than 5 years now.
Honestly, I dont know how much I have lost vividly. It will definetly surpoass $2k.
Me enteraining loss sometimes, dont mean I'm not profitable. I think you should ask about a rough estimate of how much we have won, since you asked about the loss.

Why aim for profits in a game that is not meant for providing a source of income?

It's a given that most people will lose and also in the long run even those starting on a winning streak will end up losing more.
As with casino games which have a house edge, so does sports gambling. If you're good at making predictions you can make some bucks here and there above just making random picks. But in reality it's not much better due to how the odds are structured.

Probably a year or two. Can't tell but I guess not that much as I play it safe but accounting there's so many losses compare to winnings. I guess the notion that I may be lucky one day lol. What keeps me going us that there's a potential upside if you continue but still play it safe but always keep in mind these aren't a rocket science thing and the disadvantages outweighs the advantages considering odd makers are probably genius. I don't think this will ever be a business if you're just on your own and you're just autistic to it because of the dopamine you get from winnings, it's more like a hobby to me.

If I can guess correctly I think I have been in This gambling space for 4 years now if not more than, about the aspect of calculating the amount of money I lost ever since I started. To be Frank I can't possibly remember that but I'm sure it's up to thousands of $$$ but I don't even regret Lossing them because in life nothing cones for free if you want to have fun you will have to pay for it so I just feel that those money is just like a pay back to the fun I have been having all these years. I know this might be a little difficult for most people but for me I just feel that it's a normal thing because the moment i decide to join gambling I already knew that I would loss so it's not a new thing anymore.
