Do Rich People Think About Money Differently?

In a situation where one is broke, he will feel that money will be the awnser to majority of problems he or she faces. it will be considered a silver bullet, even if there are other problems to be solved.
But rich people recognise other problems well, since Money issues isn't a major problem. Their mindset will be building, investing etc but that of the broke people is different.
So I think that rich people think of money in a different way

it is not that different in the first world either, they just hide it better. Like for example the problem in the USA isn't about the left vs right, hell they do not even have a proper political compass there, in USA the "left" and the "right" is unique, and unlike what we have in anywhere else.

The problem there is between the rich and the poor. A leftist and a right win poor person has more in common with a leftist or right win rich person, and yet they do not realize this unfortunately.

Unfortunately not many people realize this, and yet for some reason there are defenders of it and still think that this is the way to go. In reality in the USA, both sides just serve the rich and whoever wins things changes for the public. Sure rump was a bit weirder choice, that is not the same as others, but I do not see that much of a huge change or difference between Bush and Obama when I look back on history and what they achieved. Rich just care about themselves and nobody else.

In today’s economy, a lot of people struggle to make ends meet. Having enough income brings security and peace of mind. Less stress about money usually means a better quality of life.

So I wonder, is there a level of income where more money no longer improves happiness? Or are very wealthy people simply out of touch with how most people live?

The term happiness is not the same for everyone. Happiness is different for everyone and that is why we cannot associate money with happiness all the time.
For happiness can be travelling, for some it can be having a lesiure time at home, for some it can be spending time with friends or family.
We need money for many cases but for some we don't and that's the reason why is important for many of us.

I have seen people in my hometown who make enough money for their survival and are happy in hometown.
They don't want to relocate to the busy city to earn more money and are content with what they have.
Money is surely an important part of our life but it's not everything.

What is often an overlook case is that a middle class person who is very unhappy is going to even have it worse if they were to become suddenly rich. Most of the people that I am referring to have due to their ignorance have no idea of the variety of problems and challenges that come with wealth. A limited brain is incapable of analyzing an abstract position of someone else when it does not have any direct experience of said experience, and this is why idiots believe that everything is perfect and easy when you are rich. It couldn't be further from the truth. As soon as you are at a fair level of income or wealth where survival is no longer a question, which is the case for the supermajority of people in the west, then wealth does not bring improvements to your mental state.

The happiness he meant isn't being able to buy anything and do whatever you want, but we can guess what money can't buy "time", time with family, and quiet moments with a good night's sleep without having to worry about the prospects of the business he's working on before bed.

More time with the family does not necessarily equate to more happiness. In many cases the family members are idiots, you are the idiot, both are idiots, or there is a complex web of drama and stupidity like in the case of Elon Musk. Many wives, many children, spoiled children, terrible relationships. Instead of learning from examples, poor people are even deluding themselves deeper. If you analyze the top 50 richest people on the planet, you will at most find a couple of healthy individuals. Everyone else has many issues, and that only considers the stuff that we know about them. This means that on average they are even more fucked up and worse off than they are. All the data confirms that most people can not handle wealth and it makes their life much worse.

Despite the fact that being a rich person can not prevent you from death or sickness, but still the greater the abundance of your money the greater the security, power, and enjoyable life. That is why everyone is keeping pursuing and struggling to become rich while forgetting that money is not everything in this life, and ordinary people always keep thinking that when they become rich they got everything.

Although money cannot restore human health, people have the confidence that it is possible to protect themselves only if they have money. To live well in the world, there is no alternative to having money, but everything cannot be thought of depending on money. In the real sense, money can sometimes be something special to some and sometimes it is worthless. The thoughts of those who have money will definitely be different from those who do not. A rich does't get everything in life only by having only money.

They are just not aware that the "happy" part is conditional. Meaning, there are way more people in the world who are in poverty than people who are rich, and while it's getting smaller and smaller by the year, there are also a very tiny fraction of middle class people. So, when anyone say "money can't buy happiness" they are just talking about how money directly doesn't make you happy.

And yes that's sort of true, money directly doesn't make you happy, it just eliminates a lot of things that makes you unhappy. So for example if you are a single mom working two jobs trying to give your child a better life, money could make you happy, that part is true, but if your child is sick, then money can't make you happy. So, while it is not automatically happy maker system, it's definitely helping you to get rid of things that make you unhappy.

It is just the way we preceive things, if someone with less money gets sick or their child gets sick, they will not be happy, but even if a widow with child support and millions are in her hand, and her child got sick, the money might not buy health but at least she can afford better hospitals with better facilities where they can arrange anything in no time and the recovery becomes fast. I am not judging anyone, if someone has millions, they must have worked very hard and smart.

Money buys happiness, but if we have money, and we say we are not happy, that is just because how we preceive things, we must be seeing them with the mind and eyes we are not supposed to, or we don't normally. Like, we start comparing our life with others, we start chasing higher targets and bigger fished in the pound and end up eaten by a shark sometime.

When we compare, either we are middle class or rich, we lose calmness and we are always in hurry, we also lose health, the funny part, this never goes away but stays in your mind and always make you compare yourself with others.

I fully against this. Not all poor are that foolish. Although most times poor people are easily distracted by things of the world if they mistakenly meet their fortune. It is that time you see them visiting bar and carrying women all around, thinking they should enjoy the life they have miss for days. But out of this poor people  we still have some poor that knows the value of money and make use of the opportunity that mistakenly come their way.

Most certainly, these two categories of persons do have distinct ways to look at money. While the pooor might only look at money from a solving problem stand point (to buy their needs, food, clothing, sort out bills etc). The rich does look at money from a power perspective and just how much their money can afford to make more money for them. That becomes their main issue, using the money they’ve got to make even more money and remain in power. It therefore becomes a controlling factor through which, they can go at many things with a great deal of success.

This means that they do not take advantage of it briefly, but rather turn it into a continuous profit using the resources they have. They know that they need short-term profits, and long-term profits are a means for them to maintain their condition for a long time, which indirectly makes them more prepared.
But this is the advantage when they already have strong resources (wealth), where they can take greater advantage than those of us in the middle class or the poor. Because for now, we know that wealth will always be a much greater privilege in order to obtain other things such as power or comfort in life.

Risks are important, but wise people take calculated risks, which means that they take risk on things that they are not completely sure about whether they will work or not, but there is always more than a 50% probability of it working out for them, whether it's a business, investment, partnership, or anything in general, when the wealthy have enough money to toss around and experiment, they don't do it blindly, but they do take risks occasionally. Other than that, they are mostly always careful about where they should spend their money because when you are a successful businessman, you will understand business.

Elon Musk bought Twitter. Why did he do that? Was he in need for money? No, but he wanted to experiment, and wanted to do something different with the platform that he thought might or might not work out, and the purchase may not make him a lot of money, but he was confident about himself and his mindset, so he took the risk, and I think the platform is doing pretty good so far, so even though he knew it's a risky investment, but he still went for it because he could afford to take the risk, but he knew there is probability for success.

Rich people have better mindset when it comes to earning money and growing the amount what they currently have. And its very visible that they have more discipline and passion with regards to money as they don't just work and save, but they definitely invest and later on diversify their investments.

However, in the end, they still believe the fact that money can't buy everything, like the love from family and peace deep within.

While poor people have cross their limits and even praise money, but I understand it because their real happiness is to make decent amount of money and make ends meet, in which this kind of thing just comes effortless for rich people.

I guess this is just different mindset from the rich and poor, we all see money can bring happiness since we just doesnt have enough money yet to realize that, since all our life we are in the thing of earning money as a employee or in the rat race, most of the time all we care about is how we are going to earn money in order to survive, For sure it is going to give you different mindset, if you dont have money and you are only earning so that you are going to survive, it's going to have a really different perspective to someone that is just working for luxiry something like that, or not even working at all just expanding or earning without even doing a thing.

For me, money is a tool, that you can use, yes it might give you somekind of happiness if you have money since you can buy things that you want something like that, But for me that just wasn't the real happiness is all about, it just depend on how you are going to look at happiness, for me it's just peace, seeing my family, time etc. I realize when I wanted to be financially free, money for sure is a huge tool for you to get somekind of peace, but it wasn't going to give you the real happiness, that is why even people that is already so rich weren't completely happy.

Only those without money are usually saying and justifying that money can't buy happiness. Challenge whoever says that and ask them to give their money to you so that you can be happy. With that, it only proves one thing about money in front of them and that's about being happy when you have money. You're free to do everything and buy all of those stuff that will make you happy. That argument is from those people in denial that when you have money, you're the freest person to do everything you can and you'll solve almost every problem with money.

Yes, rich people usually think differently as they do not live only on their salaries but also invest in many places which will be useful to them tomorrow and they think where to invest their capital which can give more profit tomorrow. Rich people mostly invest instead of investing money. They complete their education from other countries so that they can get a degree abroad and which can benefit them in other countries. But if there is no peace in life along with money then such money is of no use because money can only fulfill your needs and cannot eliminate the worries and restlessness in your life. Therefore, along with earning money, we should also prioritize our life.
