It is actually difficult now to own a house despite that's the dream of everyone, but due to the high cost of everything many find it difficult now to own a house but rather go for a rented and affordable apartment. Also the way things are now you can't relay on one job, because anything can come up anywhere anytime, like transfer of service or we are tired of working with you can check for another job somewhere, all this can arise anytime either you offended at the organization or not, It comes naturally.

So, if all this can happen in a shot period of time would they have the time to think towards acquiring there own house, when they knew staying in one place is uncertain. We hope things gets better sooner one day, but still we should still strive to aquire our own personal house, a rented house can not be relay on it as is disadvantages too.
In today economy, many people prefer stability over owning a house because job is today are no longer as secure as they used to be and also there are so many things that can make a person not to build a house even if there is money such like transfer, job loss, or better opportunity in another different location can happen unexpectedly, making it difficult to for a person to build.
I would like to disagree with you because all the reasons you started I'm not convincing at all, if you own a house and you got transfer from that particular place it does that mean your house is gone? No in that case there are many options for you is either you sell it out or  you rented it out, i will prefer to rent it out because it has so many advantages. In my new location I'll be using the money for the rent to pay for my rent in my new location, up to the period that I can be able to have my own house there.

I will prefer cutting my cost in my new location so that I can still be having surplus for myself, then use that surplus to acquire a land gradually up to the stage of building it. What I'm just trying to say is that my old house will be used to build my new home.

If everyone could afford it, I think no one would say no to having their own home. Anyone who comes up with one excuse or another is simply unwilling to face reality.....
I don't think everyone has an excuse for not buying a home. There are many people who can afford to buy a home but they deliberately rent because their work, business or lifestyle involves frequent changes. For them flexibility is often more important than owning a home. However I agree that the cost of housing is now a big barrier and for many, owning a home is still a dream but the idea that homeownership should be everyone's ultimate goal is not always true. Because people's priorities may differ and in the current economy, many people value opportunity and freedom of movement more than fixed assets.

Nowadays the desire to a house is decreasing among the common people because house requires a lot of money and which is not possible for everyone, nowadays the price of everything is increasing but the salary of the common people is not increasing, in all respects it has become very difficult to live a good life in the present day and a house is a very distant prospect. There may be very few people who have a large amount of money but do not have the mindset to house their own home. If I have enough money to house then I will definitely build house according to my mind and live independently. I think it is good for every person to have the mindset of house, dreams should always be big.

With the current situation and cost living, to buy a house in this country won't be easy especially with some salaries earner with low income without no other sources of income. The minimum wages can't even feed a family talk more of buying a house, some people have been living in someone house as a tenant for many years not that they don't have plans of buying or building their own house but due to economic hardships they can't afford buying a house.
Unless you don't want to buy house that is why you will use this current economic as an excuse. If truly you have started saving money to invest in BTC and other altcoins to buy house or build house, I guess it will surely come to pass because your mind is there and you will minimize some spending that is consuming your money not to achieve your goal. Everything is about planning mate, if you mean what you want to achieve this year, you will do everything possible within your power to ensure you achieve it, because there are a lot of opportunity in the internet you can involve to start earning money from there and your physical job and within some years you will be able to gather money that will reach you to buy house of your choice.

You can buy a house if you can start investing in BTC and hodl for long years before you can sell to earn massive profits that will help you to build a house or buy the kind of house you want in that city.

That is true. I dont want a house. Because 1) I dont want to manage anything, nor I dont have time for that (I dont want to clear snow, leaves, cut grass and etc. it is expensive to hire someone to do that regularly) 2) I find it boring to live in a house. I dont care that much about silence, singing birds and BBQ every day. 3) Impossible to get house in location I want (I like city fast life, activities and possibilities it offers). I dont want spend time getting from suburb to city life if I want or need something. 4) I will get heavily connected with car. Without car I cant get anywhere fast. 5) Buying and owning a house is expensive.

Managing an apartment isn't only for house owners, it is also done by folks who even live in a rented apartments .. Here in Africa, I have been to houses whereby the setting and the maintenance would make it look as if the resident are the actual owners of that apartments, but with later questions, you will discover that they are just tenants... Most property owners or landlords have made it a kind of law for every occupant to practice proper maintenance, Infact some landlords goes to the extent of punishing tenants who don't properly maintain the apartment as well as the facilities in it and outside of it..

To be honest, nowadays building a house is a costly affair that not everyone can afford. Those who have built their own houses know how much money it costs. If someone has more than one source of income, then it is only possible to build a house on their own. But is it possible for a daily wage earner to build a house with the money he earns every day? I don't think it is possible, if you want to build a house, you have to first burn your own source of income.

I agree with you perfectly I mean how I can be waiting for the house owner to fix everything that needs maintenance, most times the house owner may not do it up to your own standard and they may also not come in time so instead of waiting way too much you just do it your own way after you are the one staying there and for your safety and comfort, but even at that there are still some level of house maintenance that should require the attention of the house owner, doing it or paying for it by you is not the problem at least it should be deducted from your next rent payment is all about having an understanding with the house owner to avoid future arguments.

I don't think it is possible, if you want to build a house, you have to first burn your own source of income.
We live in an era where everything from building materials to land is expensive making owning your own home incredibly difficult, especially for the younger generation. This is difficult for several main reasons I've encountered in my country. For example, house prices continue to rise while wages increase much slower. This is especially true if you're buying or building a house in a big city. Even if you want to buy with a mortgage or installment plan it will be even more difficult especially since we also have high daily living costs which makes saving even more difficult. Furthermore, long term mortgage installments can be burdensome.

So, the bottom line is that many people find it difficult to buy a home today is because their income doesn't match the price. But just because it's difficult to buy a home doesn't mean it's impossible. There are several realistic steps we can take, such as renting a house, apartment or house in a cheaper suburban area. This way you can save disciplinedly and continuously seek income through investments. In this case renting is better than buying because it makes more sense to rent first while continuing to save or invest rather than rushing into a mortgage whose installments will make you more stressed.

If it is with my country, that's very impossible these days. Despite that the government has some housing programs but the houses available are far from reach. So if it's for the sake of owning a house, you'll be thrown far from the center and if your livelihood is in the city, you'll have to deal with the daily commute that's going to be hard.

if you want to build a house, you have to first burn your own source of income.
What does it mean? you don't have to burn it but instead you'll have to find more of it.

You can buy a house if you can start investing in BTC and hodl for long years before you can sell to earn massive profits that will help you to build a house or buy the kind of house you want in that city.
If a person benefits from multiple sources of income, then there is no problem in building his house. He can build a house wherever and whenever he wants but certainly, building a house is not an easy task nowadays. Usually, a huge amount of money is required to build a house. Even if a person wants to, he will not be able to build it in a short time. That is why many people are now expressing reluctance to build a house. If he has to lose all the money he has earned in his life to build a house, then it will be difficult to manage his life later. That is why it can be said that the young do not think much about buying a house now. They think that they cannot buy it at such a price and even if they can, they are not willing to spend so much money.

That is true. I dont want a house. Because 1) I dont want to manage anything, nor I dont have time for that (I dont want to clear snow, leaves, cut grass and etc. it is expensive to hire someone to do that regularly)

I think you have misunderstood me. I am ok with maintaining apartment. I am ok to wipe dust, irobot cleans my floor, I am fine with cleaning bath. But the rest, cleaning snow, leaves, making everything tidy and clean - all that makes company that is responsible for management. We, apartment owners, pay like 10-20 EUR per month for all that. That is a very tiny amount to pay to have clean and beautiful outside of the place where you live. If something goes wrong with water, electricity. I just tell I have a problem to apartment managing company and they book a visit of a professional. If same happens with house, I will have to find that person myself, and he would charge me extra because of transport cost and because "I have a house, and that automatically means I can be charged more". Making territory around house tidy isnt 5-10min work.

To be short. After work I want peace and comfort, not extra work to make my house look good.

do you own a house? in a time where it seems like it is almost impossible to own a house unless you are earning huge amounts i notice that young people often go for apartments instead of actually owning land and a house

can a middle class citizen still afford to buy a house or do they really have to earn ridiculous amount of money in order to buy one?
Many average income earners will continue to dream about owning their own house until they reach retirement age because the cost of living keeps increasing due to inflation to the extent that they can only afford the basic things of life to survive. If they are lucky to work in a place where they will get retirement benefits that is enough to build them atleast a modest house they will be happy but for most casual workers they will get nothing.

Properties in big cities are very expensive and if you have a dream of owning your own house but know that your savings cannot afford you to own it in the city then go to a countryside where you can afford to own a house. Plan and build a house where you can afford a land then gradually start to build, at completion you can travel for vacations to your own house from where you work in the big city. When you retire from active work you can relocate to your own house for your retirement.

Its exactly my experienced right now, already marriage around three years ago and ever at position paid loan my wife with huge amount until right now get difficulty to buy new house. Working hard day by day and saving our my salary with my wife but today most expensive price for buying house, if want to build by our self we need spent much money to buy land and in my environment actually need until $24000 to buy new house.

Right now I and my wife already have saving fund raise almost few percent left to buy new house but spending all for buying house without have saving assets not really good ideas, hope my trading get consistent earn profit and can allocate budget to buy house because if pending several years later price of house increasing significant exactly high value of USDT than my local currency right now.

If everyone had the opportunity to own a house, they would at least own one. However, to be honest, it is not easy to own a house because most people's earnings are only enough to feed themselves and their families. It is often not enough to buy property such as a house. However, by working hard and working smart, someone can own a house or even several houses. For example, a person can work hard to earn more money and invest part of their income. Over time, those investments may generate additional income, making it possible to build or buy a house. For some people who work for the government and are just starting their careers, it may not be easy to own a house unless they have another source of income. In fact, in my country, considering the minimum wage, I can say that some people may spend even 20 years in service without being able to own a house. An average person can own a house, but it depends on the type of house they want to own. That is the reality.

Yes. Everyone dreams of owning a comfortable home but the reality is as you describe. Economically, even with the increasing human population owning a home is extremely difficult. Many people work their entire lives but still struggle to afford a decent home especially those living in big cities.

This is all due to the increasingly high cost of living due to inflation which impacts all sectors, including children's education, healthcare and transportation. This makes it difficult for many of the current generation to save enough to buy a home. Ultimately, owning a home is no longer easy, so many choose to rent while combining opportunity, disciplined long-term investment and hoping for a little economic luck to achieve their dream of owning a home. In my country, it's also very difficult to buy a home and even those working in government jobs struggle because wages don't keep up with inflation.

The traditional economic system has placed affordable housing as a luxury and not accessible to the lower classes of working population. The absence of income gains after the usual wage is much greater in increasing the waiting time of getting valuable property rights. Economic limitations in families may only be fully overcome by a deep knowledge of the method of cash flow management and strategic allocation of funds in the present day.

As a young person, I can’t afford to buy a home in a big city. To be honest I can afford but it cost me 6-7 years(Wtf) but I don’t want to spent that time for just a house. Instead of buying a house, I bought a small land in a rural area just two months ago. Maybe I'll build a house in there with a small farm after 6-7 years. It will be way more cheap, healthy and more importantly less stress than city life Smiley

Already in this situation in my life where I'm thinking of buying a house or starting to rent. I mean we obviously know that the value of a house was just huge for a normal people especially here in my country if you are just a minimum wage earning it is going to be difficult for you to buy one. I mean I do my research what should be the right thing to do about it, and the best thing to do on it was just to run the numbers if you can afford it or now. Right now there are a lot of programs here in my country where you could easily afford a house something like rent to own, where you just need to apply and it's really easy to get approve on it but the thing is your going to drop some serious money in the long run even though it was just like rent paying a certain amount every month but it was for 20 or 30years of paying.

I did run the numbers and I could probably afford it, but I realize that for now there was nothing wrong on starting on a apartment in fact it was probably a good move in long term since you can stabilize your finances first have the financial foundation in order to afford a house, but still the best move was just to buy the house straight on cash not doing some partial payment if you can to avoid the high fees and surcharge. If im not mistaken on my calculations renting to own a house would cost like x3 of it's price.

Even older people who work at my workplace choose to buy land in rural area where they can get much larger land at a much lower price compared to the city, they say they want to spend their retirement in a rural area. Many people can't afford to buy a house in the city especially those people who living in developing countries cause they need to earn a decent income to be able to buy a house or pay for it through installments over 10–20 years, depending on their salary tho but I think if we live a simple lifestyle,  buying a house wouldn't be such a big problem. Unfortunately, many of us still follow what other people do and try to keep up with modern lifestyles.
